“Had a pleasant experience coming here for the first time. I did try both the Katsu beef and chicken burger, and would advise the chicken burger for most. Even so, experience was good, staff was kind, their large portions are indeed very large so do take that into account. Would stop by again if I am in the area.“

“Food is pretty good and adaquate for what you are paying for. My ONLY gripe: Images show dipping sauce. The MENU even states dipping sauce included, (clams and fries) and it never is. They dont even ask if you want it, which I do.
1/4 lb burger is good and messy, so dont eat it in the car (or without a bib..lol)

“Our first visit to The Pines was exactly what we needed for a laid-back date night. The atmosphere is dark and inviting, easy to settle into and just enjoy the moment.

We were seated quickly, greeted with water, and served an unexpected touch: popcorn. Different, but it worked. It had a subtle sweet peppercorn flavor that made it surprisingly good and a nice change from the usual starters.

For food, we went with the brisket burger and the filet mignon. Both hit the mark. The burger was solid, and adding Serrano peppers (recommended by our waiter) was the right call, it gave it just enough kick without overpowering the flavor. The filet wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was still good and satisfying. I’d order it again without hesitation.

What really stood out was how easy the whole experience felt. No stress, no wait, just good food and time to reconnect with my wife, which is exactly what a date night should be.

Shoutout to our waiter Steven, friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better.

“Came here for an early birthday drink and to shoot pool without the crowds. Raye took such great care of us as did her kitchen staff prior to the bartender arriving as we "opened up the place" The new owner is attentive, funny and has definitely cleaned the place up! The burger was good and the street tacos a huge hit with my hubs. I really hope they bring back the Reuben, either way We will be back- thanks for the amazing service!“

“The food was awesome! The beer was awesome! Jason Is by far our favorite waiter of all time! He had me hooked on that amazing Amber they have. The fried pickles were outstanding, and the pizza was awesome! My wife got a pineapple something or other cocktail that she loved.
