“Came here for an early birthday drink and to shoot pool without the crowds. Raye took such great care of us as did her kitchen staff prior to the bartender arriving as we "opened up the place" The new owner is attentive, funny and has definitely cleaned the place up! The burger was good and the street tacos a huge hit with my hubs. I really hope they bring back the Reuben, either way We will be back- thanks for the amazing service!“

“Fantastic food, and well worth the reasonable wait to get it!! It's a good sign when a little restaurant like this is packed to the gills! There is walk up and drive up service; they have a wonderful system of taking orders while you are in line in your vehicle to keep things running smoothly! We visited on a hot day, and all the food temps were perfect-my salad and dressing was ice cold; hot food was plenty hot, and the staff is super friendly and efficient!! We are considering this our go-to restaurant when we have a Mountain Loop highway day trip planned again, or are in the area for any reason😀🫶Prices are very fair; they have a kids menu, a meatless burger plus salads and some sides that could work for those who are interested in meatless food-parking is pretty limited there, but people were making it work!“

“Our first visit to The Pines was exactly what we needed for a laid-back date night. The atmosphere is dark and inviting, easy to settle into and just enjoy the moment.

We were seated quickly, greeted with water, and served an unexpected touch: popcorn. Different, but it worked. It had a subtle sweet peppercorn flavor that made it surprisingly good and a nice change from the usual starters.

For food, we went with the brisket burger and the filet mignon. Both hit the mark. The burger was solid, and adding Serrano peppers (recommended by our waiter) was the right call, it gave it just enough kick without overpowering the flavor. The filet wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was still good and satisfying. I’d order it again without hesitation.

What really stood out was how easy the whole experience felt. No stress, no wait, just good food and time to reconnect with my wife, which is exactly what a date night should be.

“First I'd like to say our server, Lot, was absolutely fantastic!! We came in for Happy Hour to hang out and visit with friends. Lot gave us the specials right away and recommended the Sriracha cauliflower. He was not wrong! We ended up getting 2 of them. Lot was spot on with that recommendation! He was funny and helpful. Lot is a skilled server for sure. He knew when to come and check on us without hovering. He seemed to know what we needed, when we needed it. It was a great evening. Great friends, good food and a great server! What more could you ask for? Even $6.00 Long Island ice teas!! Go in, ask for Lot's section. You won't be disappointed!“

“I want to give a huge shout-out to Logan at the Lake Stevens Burger King. I came in during what was clearly a very busy rush, and Logan was not only handling a full wave of customers but also seemed to be training another employee at the same time, also looking to be understaffed. Despite being obviously stressed, he stayed calm, professional, and incredibly kind—not just to customers, but also to his coworkers. It was really impressive to see someone manage that kind of pressure with patience and positivity. The way Logan treated people stood out to me compared to some other fast food experiences I’ve had in the area, where stress often spills over onto customers. He really made the difference in turning what could’ve been a frustrating experience into a pleasant one. Burger King should be proud to have someone like Logan representing their team.“

“Always choose Wendy's over McDonald's. Rarely ever a line here and you'll always be through the line in 5 minutes or less usually. Burgers made to order and delicious. Staff friendly about 95% of the time. Always exceptions but overall great job for a fast food joint. Parking lot and building is clean“
