“I only recently heard about Habit Burger, and this was my first visit. The setup and atmosphere felt similar to a Burger King, or some similar nicer fast food place. The menu was short and direct, which made it very easy to read through and decide without feeling overwhelmed. I got a double patty Charburger, and it was VERY good. Not exactly a gourmet burger, but a much nicer burger than your average fast food version. I did not order any fries or drink as I wasn't very hungry. Total came to $9.15 including tax. For what I needed it hit the spot, but if going back for dinner I will make sure to get fries too to make it more filling. And yes, I will definitely be coming back again. My coworker, who recommended the place swears by their salads. I will be trying one in the near future.“

The fries are delightful, delivered hot and crispy, with either with chimmychurry sauce or without, but they come in a leakproof paper box which is intended to keep them hot, but it needs to be vented or the heat of the fries steams themselves and the go soft rather quickly. I live thirty miles away from Bao Boss, so I can’t wait until I’m in the area again. I want to try everything on their menu. They have some cosmetic issues outside that need to be addressed and that could turn off a lot of people, but be bold and try them out, you will not be sorry.“

“Our first visit to The Pines was exactly what we needed for a laid-back date night. The atmosphere is dark and inviting, easy to settle into and just enjoy the moment.

We were seated quickly, greeted with water, and served an unexpected touch: popcorn. Different, but it worked. It had a subtle sweet peppercorn flavor that made it surprisingly good and a nice change from the usual starters.

For food, we went with the brisket burger and the filet mignon. Both hit the mark. The burger was solid, and adding Serrano peppers (recommended by our waiter) was the right call, it gave it just enough kick without overpowering the flavor. The filet wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was still good and satisfying. I’d order it again without hesitation.

What really stood out was how easy the whole experience felt. No stress, no wait, just good food and time to reconnect with my wife, which is exactly what a date night should be.
