“Food is pretty good and adaquate for what you are paying for. My ONLY gripe: Images show dipping sauce. The MENU even states dipping sauce included, (clams and fries) and it never is. They dont even ask if you want it, which I do.
1/4 lb burger is good and messy, so dont eat it in the car (or without a bib..lol)

Raye took such great care of us as did her kitchen staff prior to the bartender arriving as we "opened up the place" The new owner is attentive, funny and has definitely cleaned the place up! “I had the nachos appetizer. Comes on a small cookie sheet. Enough for two or more people. I also had the cheesecake, very good not to sweet. I wanted to give a special shout out to my server Marrisa. I asked if I could get the Mudd put without almonds, which she said she would check. She came back and told me they were added last so could be removed from the order. I said great I would have that. She returned after a few minutes and said she had checked their allergy information and one of the ingredients contains tree nuts. I promptly changed my order to cheesecake. I really appreciate her going above and beyond to check the allergy warns. That could have caused me issues.“

“While every sandwich or burger we’ve had here has been excellent, we keep coming back for the SOUP! So good and such a great daily variety. I seldom order soup at a restaurant, but the soup at Hawkeyes is a treat. Always a good beer selection, too, and friendly service.“

“Stopped in on a Friday evening, dine in and it was wonderful. Small dining area with the basics but is so clean. The dine-in area just had one other couple but the to-go orders were plentiful. The owners greeted everyone with sincerity and all the to-go peeps seemed to be regulars. We enjoyed a chicken bento box and an order of the orange chicken. Both were played well and tasted amazing. So fresh! Japan Teriyaki was a great surprise find tucked away off of 20th.“
