“I went with my friends a couple weeks ago and had the nicest time. I had the Brick Chicken and mash potatoes and it was delicious. the Brownie was oohie gooie good too. Our waitress, Mariah, was so fun and helpful. The whole dinner was unexpectedly good :). I'm writing this here now because, I am still thinking about how good it was and wondering how soon is too soon to go back :). Thanks Mariah and Hollywood Tavern :)“

“This restaurant is only for those who want a full dining experience and aren't afraid of spending the money. The service was absolutely impeccable. If anyone leaves the table, the service replaces your napkin and the table isn't served the next course of food until everyone is reseated. The food was above and beyond fabulous and every one of the staff was attentive, professional, and respectful. This is a dining experience restaurant. Service was a 9 course meal and lasted ~4 hours. Chef Chris was an active participant of the service and introduced all the food with explaining the local origins and preparation. One of the most amazing dining experiences we've had.“

“Kristina was amazing! She made our visit so much fun and was super friendly and easy to talk to. She was knowledgeable about all the wines and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming.

She also helped us sign up for the wine club and made the process really easy. She took the time to explain the membership benefits, answered all of our questions, and never made us feel pressured. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure her guests have a great experience.

“Great for pinball. All the tables we used worked as expected with very little issue, Popeye had a small issue with a ball return but it didn't impact gameplay at all.

The stern cabs are all online and they are all the upgraded versions. Had a really great time playing pinball here :)“

“THE place to stop when you are in Woodinville! A darling tasting room and a staff that is just salt of the earth and genuinely cares about the people that walk through their door as well as their amazing wine. We ended up skipping some spots we planned for day 2 of our trip just to go back and listen to their live music they had that day by Flowers for Wolves (the most talented little duo you ever did see). The wine is incredibly delicious and must say, you will want to become a member and visit again after your time with them.“

“We recently hosted a fundraising event at J. Bookwalter and had an incredible experience from start to finish. John, the manager, was fantastic in the lead-up — always quick to answer our questions and even on hand the night of the event to help with small tweaks that kept everything running smoothly. Jessica and her fellow wine steward were amazing during the event itself, handling all the inevitable chaos with calm professionalism and even helping with on-the-spot decision making.

The space was beautiful, the team was outstanding, and they made hosting an event there truly seamless. We can’t recommend J. Bookwalter enough for anyone looking to rent a venue for a special event.“

Their set-up is clean and professional looking (you WANT their food truck in your parking lot); their staff is courteous and friendly; they offered a diverse and interesting menu; and our plates were prepared quickly. Oh, the food... top notch! I had the turkey club, my daughter had the mac & cheese... both with their crispy, delicious french fries. AMAZING!“

This bottle is a 2014 blend, and it is approachable, bold, smooth and highly recommended by us! I pick up raspberry, vanilla notes, more of a blackberry and vanilla flavor. “We stopped in with family to give this place a try, and overall it was a great experience! The only downside was the parking—it was pretty tight, and it took both me and another family member a while to find a spot. Other than that, this easily could have been a 5-star visit.
The beer was ice cold and served at the perfect temperature, and my salad was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. The restaurant was hopping, so it's no surprise a small detail like my extra dressing request got missed.

While walking away from my dead car I realized I was in the parking lot of locust cider! Tatum made my day!!! She was kind and patient and very beautiful (inside and out!). “We are so happy to have this Thai place close to Bothell! It has easily become one of our go-to spots for both dining in and takeout. The Pad Thai, red curry, and basil fried rice are absolutely the best around. The Pad Kee Mao is just okay for our taste, but the other dishes completely make up for it. I will say i was sadden and my kids were disappointed when they did away with the scavenger hunt. that was a really cool and unique activity. “The best teriyaki I’ve ever eaten. The teriyaki at most other restaurants is too salty. The prices are very reasonable and we received excellent service. I didn’t rate the atmosphere more than 3 stars because it isn’t a fancy restaurant, but that wasn’t important to me. But it was very clean.“

Our waiter was Andrew and he also attended to us promptly and was kind from the start.My wife had the Nutella crepes and biscuits with peppered gravy. She rarely will finish her serving but did this time. (I helped with a biscuit) I had the lumberjack omelette with Pelican special potatoes. I’ll say one thing about the food. I talk to him and he hangs up the phone. David noticed one of the portions of chicken was small so he gave me an extra free piece. The place is small and its probably a sauna in there while they work, but they do their best! “This restaurant remains one of my favorite Italian restaurant. It’s an older establishment, ie been around for at least 20 years. Despite all the growth and changes around the Woodinville area with restaurants come and go, I am pleased that this place continues to thrive with the changes.

While the service may have felt somewhat indifferent, the food is absolutely delicious and ultimately it’s the food that we came for. The appetizers were fresh, the entrees authentic and sumptuous, and the super Tuscan wine was delectable.

The only disappointment I had was they used to serve warm freshly baked bread as table bread, now they serve store-bought sourdough bread.“
