“Me and my girlfriends first time trying mead and it was delicious sweeter than wine but not overwhelming. Very light carbonation almost like a hint of champagne. Definitely something we did not think could be so good. A very good pair with food.“

“THE place to stop when you are in Woodinville! A darling tasting room and a staff that is just salt of the earth and genuinely cares about the people that walk through their door as well as their amazing wine. We ended up skipping some spots we planned for day 2 of our trip just to go back and listen to their live music they had that day by Flowers for Wolves (the most talented little duo you ever did see). The wine is incredibly delicious and must say, you will want to become a member and visit again after your time with them.“

“We recently hosted a fundraising event at J. Bookwalter and had an incredible experience from start to finish. John, the manager, was fantastic in the lead-up — always quick to answer our questions and even on hand the night of the event to help with small tweaks that kept everything running smoothly. Jessica and her fellow wine steward were amazing during the event itself, handling all the inevitable chaos with calm professionalism and even helping with on-the-spot decision making.

The space was beautiful, the team was outstanding, and they made hosting an event there truly seamless. We can’t recommend J. Bookwalter enough for anyone looking to rent a venue for a special event.“

And you add to that A stellar selection of wines I’ve seen in a long time. To call this Winery the king of reds is almost an understatement. I can’t recommend it high enough and feel fabulous about our purchases. ObeliscoWinery is worth the drive up from Oregon to be here again.“

“We came specifically for the music in the alley event, and this winery is right there next to the music. We didn’t have reservations, but we walked right in. Melissa was very helpful, and she gave us seating outside right next to the music. It was very low-key and an enjoyable experience.“

“Sleight of Hand was one of my favorite wine bars. The staff was super welcoming and knowledgeable. They were great at tailoring the information load depending on the guests interest level too. I was super enthused to try wines from the Rocks District, since we weren't able to taste at the location in Walla Walla due to our time constraints. The atmosphere of the tasting room was more laid back and had excellent music options (if you are into rock and roll).“

“Absolutely love the wine, Tim and Paige are the best. We were first introduced to Tim and Paige when we moved here 13 years ago, love them and the story of how they started their business. We have never been disappointed. My father-in -law, who lived in Dallas, spoke 7 languages and traveled the world, met them while on a visit here, and from that point on, had every new release sent to him in Dallas. When we drink wine, we always pull Stevens Wine from the rack. Being a member of their wine club is like being with family. Love you guys!!!“

The wine was excellent, the service superb, and the tasting room was cute and comfortable. As the organizer of this event, it was such a please to work with Julie, Darcy, and everyone else on the team that took care of our group of 15 people. All I had to do was show up and take credit for organizing such a great event! Can’t wait to visit again!“

“Our visit to the winery was excellent! The wine tasting was curated to us personally. The wine is superb - smooth and exquisitely drinkable, fruit forward flavors. I don’t love Merlots - I loved theirs.
The new space is versatile and would be excellent to host an event or lounge on the patio for a couple hours! Next time we’ll catch the live music on Thursdays. 🍷🎵“

“My wife and I have a fairly large collection of wine and we decided to try Baer Winery Ursa with dinner this evening. This bottle is a 2014 blend, and it is approachable, bold, smooth and highly recommended by us! I pick up raspberry, vanilla notes, more of a blackberry and vanilla flavor. “An excellent experience overall. I needed a place to land for a few hours, and they were incredibly accommodating and kind; they made me feel genuinely welcome to stay. It’s a comfortable space with free Wi-Fi, clean facilities, and a calm, safe atmosphere, which I really appreciated.

The wine tasting itself is on the expensive side, and it was a bit frustrating that the tasting fee can’t be applied toward a bottle purchase (that’s industry standard practice in Canada). That said, the hospitality more than made up for it. The atmosphere really comes alive later in the day with live music, and it’s great that they offer food as well. The food overall is overpriced for what’s offered, but the macarons are excellent; delicious and very reasonably priced.

I did originally choose Chelan Ridge because of their bubble seating option on the 'patio', and was very excited to try it out. But when I saw that it faced the grimy parking lot, those dreams were instantly dashed. If they could do it in the back or even a neat warm spot inside, it would make all the difference.

Service was outstanding. My server was the winery owner’s granddaughter, and she truly went above and beyond. She was warm, attentive, and professional, and she represented the winery beautifully; her grandparents should be incredibly proud.
Even with a few pricing quirks, this is a place I’d happily return to for the atmosphere, kindness, and genuinely excellent service.“

“This place felt comfortable and familial. The person pouring wine was passionate and knowledgeable, and a delight to talk to. The sailing theme is cute and not over-the-top. The best wines were quite expensive but also very good, and still had strong tannins after 9 years. The base wines are reasonably priced and very quaffable.“

Not sure what the deal was with puppies being in there with other customers but loved the fur babies too! If your a social butterfly I think you’ll love this atmosphere, so get over to Market Vineyards!“
