We came here the next weekend to the tasting room in Woodinville and did a full tasting and bought two bottles. The rattlesnake hills Grenache and the Carmenere—both incredible! “THE place to stop when you are in Woodinville! A darling tasting room and a staff that is just salt of the earth and genuinely cares about the people that walk through their door as well as their amazing wine. We ended up skipping some spots we planned for day 2 of our trip just to go back and listen to their live music they had that day by Flowers for Wolves (the most talented little duo you ever did see). The wine is incredibly delicious and must say, you will want to become a member and visit again after your time with them.“

“One of our favorites in the SoDo wine district! Their Viognier is my favorite white wine of all time, and their Syrahs and red blends are also among my top favorites! Tasting fee is refunded with bottle purchase, and attendants are always super knowledgeable about the wine. We always stop here and down the hall at Michael Florentino Cellars tasting rooms for the best wine tasting experience in the area! We will definitely be back! Oh, and they are very dog friendly, inside and out!“

“Ambassador Wines of WA made my holiday! I had gotten two holiday wines for my parents through their online shop. On my drive up to Bellingham I had realized I had forgotten to pick up the wines. I quickly reached out to the ambassador wines team and they were able to rush a delivery for me. The wines arrived safely to my front door in Blaine WA within 24 hours, just in time! “Decided to try out Elsom this weekend as a pre-flight tasting before we headed down to the wine walk in Edmonds. Was pleasantly surprised! I think I’m most enjoyed the mall back vintage 2020 I believe. The girl that helped us was very friendly and observant to our semi large group and make sure everybody’s glasses stay full, even though we all kind of walked in at different times. Super excited to hear that they’re expanding or moving into Woodinville as that is our normal stopping grounds, but I do look forward to trying out their varietals again in the near future. Check this place out! FYI, did not try the food, but Jesus it smelt tasty my dudes!“

“We recently hosted a fundraising event at J. Bookwalter and had an incredible experience from start to finish. John, the manager, was fantastic in the lead-up — always quick to answer our questions and even on hand the night of the event to help with small tweaks that kept everything running smoothly. Jessica and her fellow wine steward were amazing during the event itself, handling all the inevitable chaos with calm professionalism and even helping with on-the-spot decision making.

The space was beautiful, the team was outstanding, and they made hosting an event there truly seamless. We can’t recommend J. Bookwalter enough for anyone looking to rent a venue for a special event.“

“An excellent experience overall. I needed a place to land for a few hours, and they were incredibly accommodating and kind; they made me feel genuinely welcome to stay. It’s a comfortable space with free Wi-Fi, clean facilities, and a calm, safe atmosphere, which I really appreciated.

The wine tasting itself is on the expensive side, and it was a bit frustrating that the tasting fee can’t be applied toward a bottle purchase (that’s industry standard practice in Canada). That said, the hospitality more than made up for it. The atmosphere really comes alive later in the day with live music, and it’s great that they offer food as well. The food overall is overpriced for what’s offered, but the macarons are excellent; delicious and very reasonably priced.

I did originally choose Chelan Ridge because of their bubble seating option on the 'patio', and was very excited to try it out. But when I saw that it faced the grimy parking lot, those dreams were instantly dashed. If they could do it in the back or even a neat warm spot inside, it would make all the difference.

Service was outstanding. My server was the winery owner’s granddaughter, and she truly went above and beyond. She was warm, attentive, and professional, and she represented the winery beautifully; her grandparents should be incredibly proud.
Even with a few pricing quirks, this is a place I’d happily return to for the atmosphere, kindness, and genuinely excellent service.“

“Sleight of Hand was one of my favorite wine bars. The staff was super welcoming and knowledgeable. They were great at tailoring the information load depending on the guests interest level too. I was super enthused to try wines from the Rocks District, since we weren't able to taste at the location in Walla Walla due to our time constraints. The atmosphere of the tasting room was more laid back and had excellent music options (if you are into rock and roll).“

“Absolutely love the wine, Tim and Paige are the best. We were first introduced to Tim and Paige when we moved here 13 years ago, love them and the story of how they started their business. We have never been disappointed. My father-in -law, who lived in Dallas, spoke 7 languages and traveled the world, met them while on a visit here, and from that point on, had every new release sent to him in Dallas. When we drink wine, we always pull Stevens Wine from the rack. Being a member of their wine club is like being with family. Love you guys!!!“
