Outstanding wines and service (Lori). Their Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is bold with notes of ripe blackberry, dried cherry (and so on and so forth). So much so we picked up a box of 12! A quiet, unassuming winery that’s well worth a visit.“

“We went for a wine tasting, we did a walk in 90 minutes before closing and the staff was able to accommodate us. They were knowledgeable and made good recommendations. They had pre packaged charcuterie boards available for purchase. My only complaints is that the sun hit directly where we were seated, wish they had more umbrellas for shelter. Would recommend you call in advance and ask for more sheltered seating incase you have an issue with it being too sunny.“

“I’ve visited for several years now, and always look forward to my next visit. I have become handicapped during this time. There is one improvement that I would suggest. Handicap doors would be much appreciated, as your doors are quite hard to open. I will continue to visit often.“

“Some of the best wine I have ever had. We went to the Taste event last weekend in downtown Seattle and Lobo Hills was the only wine we tasted that stuck out. We came here the next weekend to the tasting room in Woodinville and did a full tasting and bought two bottles. The rattlesnake hills Grenache and the Carmenere—both incredible! A darling tasting room and a staff that is just salt of the earth and genuinely cares about the people that walk through their door as well as their amazing wine. We ended up skipping some spots we planned for day 2 of our trip just to go back and listen to their live music they had that day by Flowers for Wolves (the most talented little duo you ever did see). The wine is incredibly delicious and must say, you will want to become a member and visit again after your time with them.“

“Ambassador Wines of WA made my holiday! I had gotten two holiday wines for my parents through their online shop. On my drive up to Bellingham I had realized I had forgotten to pick up the wines. “Sleight of Hand was one of my favorite wine bars. The staff was super welcoming and knowledgeable. They were great at tailoring the information load depending on the guests interest level too. I was super enthused to try wines from the Rocks District, since we weren't able to taste at the location in Walla Walla due to our time constraints. The atmosphere of the tasting room was more laid back and had excellent music options (if you are into rock and roll).“

The wine was excellent, the service superb, and the tasting room was cute and comfortable. “Absolutely love the wine, Tim and Paige are the best. We were first introduced to Tim and Paige when we moved here 13 years ago, love them and the story of how they started their business. We have never been disappointed. My father-in -law, who lived in Dallas, spoke 7 languages and traveled the world, met them while on a visit here, and from that point on, had every new release sent to him in Dallas. When we drink wine, we always pull Stevens Wine from the rack. Being a member of their wine club is like being with family. Love you guys!!!“

Lynda and Cathy were an absolute delight to work with and so accommodating with our party and added decorations. “This place felt comfortable and familial. The person pouring wine was passionate and knowledgeable, and a delight to talk to. The sailing theme is cute and not over-the-top. The best wines were quite expensive but also very good, and still had strong tannins after 9 years. The base wines are reasonably priced and very quaffable.“

Very tasty and the staff is very nice and knowledgeable. They also have a tasting experience in Prosser that has a restaurant. Highly recommend.“

“We recently hosted a fundraising event at J. Bookwalter and had an incredible experience from start to finish. John, the manager, was fantastic in the lead-up — always quick to answer our questions and even on hand the night of the event to help with small tweaks that kept everything running smoothly. Jessica and her fellow wine steward were amazing during the event itself, handling all the inevitable chaos with calm professionalism and even helping with on-the-spot decision making.

“We were staying in Chelan on a camping trip and wanted to spend an afternoon wine tasting. We chose this winery over several others because of the beautiful views, and we’re so glad we did!

If you look at my photos, you’ll see just how breathtaking the scenery is. As an added bonus, there was live music while we were there. The musician was incredibly talented and made the experience even more enjoyable.

The wine was delicious, and the staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. During our visit, a fire broke out over the ridge. Thankfully, a local guest was able to share updates and reassure everyone that the fire was moving away from the area and that we were not in any danger. The staff handled the situation calmly and professionally, allowing everyone to continue enjoying their visit.

We ended up staying for a couple of hours because the atmosphere was so relaxing. After visiting another winery in the area, we can confidently say this one stood out for its incredible views, wonderful wine, live entertainment, and exceptional hospitality. We highly recommend making this winery a stop during your visit to Chelan!“
