“Unique flavors, locally and organically produced, and super nice folks. What more can be said.“
“What do I recommend? Everything! Everything I’ve tasted from here has been top notch. Those very dry ciders and perries, along with those Asian Pears (sooo good!), and the refined artwork on the labels-it is a very very special cidery.“
“Amazing wine and beautiful scenery! Our first time in Vashon and we decided to make a stop at Palouse which was an absolute pleasure. Wonderful host who was very attentive and had knowledgeable insight toward each wine that we tried. The flight is priced modestly and was certainly more than enough to have a chill time and enjoy the views from the back garden. Can’t wait to go back and visit!“
“Mr. B’s is a great little hidden gem in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. Fantastic meads with a large variety and just the coolest vibe and atmosphere you could imagine. Highly recommend it!“
“We recently hosted a special social event for our nonprofit board members at the Gig Harbor Wine Co., and we couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The venue is absolutely stunning; classy and comfortable with a warm atmosphere ideal for our group of 35+ attendees. They offer a thoughtfully curated selection of wines, intimate and sophisticated ambiance, paired with very friendly and attentive staff. We were very comfortable and felt the space was the perfect setting for hosting a corporate social celebration.
We want to extend a special thank you to Robin, the owner, whose professionalism and warmth made us feel like family. Robin, her husband and Kim were ALL incredibly attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail of our event was perfect. They even connected us with 2 local catering companies to support our event with amazing food options.
We highly recommend Gig Harbor Wine Co for any organization or private gathering looking for a refined space, and truly exceptional hospitality.“
“We hosted my baby shower at House of Smith Jet City this weekend and had such a wonderful experience. The space was beautiful and it created such a great atmosphere for our friends and family. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made setup so easy, which helped everything feel smooth and stress-free. Jessica, the event manager, was especially amazing! She was super organized, communicative, and so helpful throughout the process. We’re so grateful to the whole team for helping make the day so special!“
“Latta is the best! We had visited their Woodinville location before where we joined the wine club immediately because we loved it so much and had the pleasure of trying their SODO spot recently. The space is impeccable, roomy but cozy, wines are great, and the people who work there are even better. Can’t wait to return!“
“We all had a lovely experience at Structure! The staff overall, were welcoming and kind, guiding us through a delightful selection of wines. The ambiance was fun and inviting, the patio seating made for a relaxing tasting. Our little group didn’t have a favorite or least favorite. It’s red heavy, but the whites we tasted were wonderful. One funny moment we had was one of the two ladies that served us was the same person who originally told us to stay away from this winery, we recalled having her host us at a neighboring winery last year. That was a bit awkward for us but otherwise a great experience. Also! There is another winery down the hall behind Structure we just found out and a champagne bar! We will be back to taste! Try the pizza place next door too!“
“I like the wines, especially the white pinot. The place was clean, cute, and inviting. The bartender was also owner and winemaker, super nice and knows his craft. The cheese board is very generous and reasonably priced. think a private party here would be great. I liked everything about it, recommend it to anyone, no hesitation.“
“The staff there is amazing. 🤩“
“For years we’ve said all Perrinville was missing was a nice little tasting room, and we’re SO happy Elsom stepped up to the plate.
I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening yesterday with my beautiful (9 months pregnant) fiancée and my mother. We were immediately welcomed with pours of the 2023 Albariño and the Rosé, and the staff went out of their way to walk us through their non-alcoholic and snack options for my fiancée. That kind of attentiveness set the tone for the whole visit.
The Albariño had the perfect summertime lightness with just the right note of tartness, smooth with a little bite. The Rosé was right there with it.
Since we live a 10-minute walk away and plan on being regulars, we skipped the agonizing-over-the-menu phase and just ordered the first three bites: the mixed nuts, the salmon bites and the cucumber mango salad. We also got to try the truffle popcorn and finished with the lemon cake. (Apologies in advance if I butcher the names, forgot to snap a pic of the menu.)
Everything is prepared with such care and attention to balance that someone with a trained palate will absolutely notice, but even the most casual eater will want to finish every last crumb.
A quick sidenote on truffle: it feels like every place slaps it on fries or popcorn now, and usually so heavy-handed that it bulldozes everything else on the plate. Honestly, I’ve gotten a little tired of it. So I want to be clear, Elsom’s popcorn with truffle salt is perfect. The truffle is a whisper, not a shout, exactly how it’s supposed to be used. It’s dusted with a sharp white cheese powder that makes finger-licking impossible to resist. The ladies got mad at me because I demolished most of the basket. Worth it.
The mixed nuts (I think maple, rosemary and cayenne?) were awesome. Rosemary is another ingredient I usually avoid because it tends to bulldoze a dish. Not here. The nuts came out warm, the cayenne made these little cameo appearances between bites, and a sip of wine washed it all down beautifully. We’ll be ordering these every visit, and if they ever bag them up to take home, consider us stocked up for life.
The salmon bites were incredible. Salmon, roe and avocado on a crispy little square of rice that was seared on both sides for the perfect textural contrast, finished with pickled red onion and a refreshing thin slice of radish. I was hungry and went one-biter. Lesson learned. Definitely a two-biter next time lol.
The cucumber mango salad was confusing in the best possible way. How do these flavors work together this well? I think I tasted chives? Mint leaves? It shouldn’t compute, but it did. I love when a dish challenges my palate, and this one was a magic trick. I got told to slow down and save some for the rest of the table. Sorry ladies.
The lemon cake was brought out by the owner herself because she felt bad about a slightly longer wait, which honestly we didn’t even notice, we were having too good a time. It was a lovely gesture, and the cake itself was another ode to balance: sweet, light, citrusy and the perfect level of moisture. Gone before I could stop myself. Sorry again ladies.
We are absolutely thrilled to have Elsom in the neighborhood and can’t wait for evening walks down to the tasting room and their future dinners and events.
Service was incredible. The atmosphere was nothing but good vibes. The wine was excellent, and the food was creative without trying too hard to be different, which is the hardest balance of all to pull off.
Welcome to Perrinville. We’re so happy you’re here.“
“Great place and delicious wines!“
“Super great place with amazing wine! Loved the company of the dog and the staff was very friendly! Can’t wait to go back :)“
“What a lovely local winery, Karen and co are friendly and gracious hosts who have lived in West Seattle for 35+ years, which comes in handy with their connection to the doughnut truck folk who stop by occasionally to pair with the wines. This was the perfect place to host a small group of close friends sitting outdoors with shade, charcuterie and some tasty local wines. We hope to be back soon.“
“Great wine and great people! It’s not often I make it through an entire tasting and enjoy every wine, but at T2 that was the case! That owners are welcoming and kind the wine is great and their wine club is simple and totally worth it. We now come back regularly. Thank you T2“
“The West Seattle Darby winery tasting room was amazing! They hosted me and 9 of my friends for a birthday party, they were very accommodating and attentive during the tastings! We were allowed to bring in our own food and non-alcoholic drinks and request music. Would definitely recommend this place for hosting friends.“
“We decided to try a new tasting room outside of the Urbanwork Plaza. Efeste happen to make it to our list today. I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance of the tasting room. With its high ceiling, modern lighting, inviting decor, and airy atmosphere, it felt truly inviting. They even had an outdoor seating area. The service was warm and hospitable, and the tasting itself was delightful. Priced at $25 for a selection of 6 tastings, the fee is waived with a purchase. Since is my birthday month, my friend gifted me two bottles, which tells me he also liked the wine there as well. For those who aren't avid wine enthusiasts, they also offer a beer selection. It's an excellent spot to enjoy food and beverages on a beautiful summer weekend or before catching a game at the nearby stadiums.“
“Phenomenal experience at the SoDo tasting room! Laurie took great care of us, providing the perfect level of detail and thoughtfulness. The red & wine tasting allowed us to try a bit of everything to find our favorites, and I ended up bringing home a few bottles with me. Looking forward to coming back soon!“

“Andrew Will makes some of the finest wines around. The winery iteself is beautifully tucked away in central Vashon. If you're coming for a visit, I'd suggest planning to do so in the late Spring or early Summer when the weather is more ideal. The owners are extremely nice and they are wonderful members of our community on Vashon. You can find their wines @ Thriftway!“
