Woodinville Whiskey Co. offers a friendly and informative tasting experience, with knowledgeable staff guiding visitors through their whiskey-making process. The whiskeys feature smoky and heavy notes, with the Rye being a standout favorite. It appears to be a very popular place, especially during lunchtime when seating may be limited at the tasting bar. Visitors can also enjoy the dog-friendly atmosphere and purchase the company's acclaimed maple syrup. The tours, available even on weekdays, provide an in-depth look at the differences between bourbons, Irish, and Scottish whiskies.
The tasting room is a perfect blend of rustic charm and refined craftsmanship. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also friendly and helpful, making it a unique and memorable experience. Customers have praised the great value and exceptional service, with many expressing appreciation for the polite, no-pressure environment. The ability to select from two tasting experiences is a highlight. For those looking for a deeper dive, the $20 premium offering of four whiskey pours is highly recommended, with favorites like the 8-year bourbon and rye receiving particular acclaim.
