“Bothell’s Ta Joia isn’t your sleepy strip-mall filler—it’s a technicolor veggie parade disguised as dinner. I ordered bibimbop, spring rolls, and the feijoada bowl, which felt like a samba in a rice bowl. It’s the rare spot where “eating your vegetables” is less a chore and more a sly dare. Flavor bombs everywhere, and suddenly I’m craving greens I never cared about. That’s Bothell magic.“

“I've been going to Amaro for years and it's consistently a solid choice. The ambience is perfect for gathering with friends or a date as it's easy to have a conservation without having to compete with loud music or tables that are too close together. The food prepared is well with quality ingredients and desserts are made in house. If you enjoy the traditional Italian preparation of calamari, this is one of the best renditions I've had outside of Italy. It's a starter, but I've occasionally ordered a double as an entree. Amaro is very accommodating with substitutions. Last night my friend didn't want risotto with her pollo arrosto, so they gave her a vegetable medley instead and it turned out beautifully. For a dinner house of this type, pricing is quite reasonable. The service is attentive and sincere, but often a little disjointed. They serve Caffe Vita, which is my favorite local roaster“

“While we unfortunately don't live in state and get to enjoy the stores in person, we have been purchasing from Zulus online for over 4 years now and we have always had a positive experience with them. This last order I had placed was no different on their end, had an issue with a pricey package being marked as delivered and misdelivered multiple times by UPS over the course of 2 weeks, back and forth getting nowhere and Zulus customer support was so helpful all along the way. Amazing communication, we had purchased the shipping insurance and they helped to get us a replacement order via Fedex, appreciate them so much through all of that. Keep kicking butt Zulus!“

“Waited patiently as this shop reworked the old Lyon's Den coffee house here in Bothell, and when I found they were open I went and had them make me a sandwich. And then another. And then a third, and now I'm on a fourth (the joker dip) as I write this review. Because they're just that good. I don't go there daily (I don't want to tire of them!), but what with them being across the street from the post office where my mail goes, it's not only an easy stop, it's a winner as far as the food. Food is quite tasty, staff are wonderful and friendly. This isn't fancy, interior is mostly a no-frills vibe, but you will not regret getting a sandwich from these guys. For any New Yorkers reading this or similarly inclined to this end, if you want your Durkee turkey you gotta buy your own Durkee sauce for home; sorry, I don't make the rules, and I don't know of any sandwich shop in Seattle that carries the sauce.“

“I love everything at Uncle Peteza's... cheesey bread!!!!!, Hawaiian pizza, and antipasto salad are my ultimate go to's. My family has been ordering from here ever since I was a little girl. When we were kids it was our Friday night staple and we always looked forward to that. I also loved going to Frank Love Elementary back in the early 2000's for basketball and pizza night. The best! I will always recommend this place, even though practically everyone I know already knows :)“

“I've always had a nice experience at Viva Jalisco. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere with authentic Mexican vibes. The food is always good—I particularly enjoy the Enchiladas Jalisco, the tortilla soup, and the carne asada. Their horchata is also a solid choice. “Fantastic place with a large gluten free menu. The gluten free food is cooked in its own kitchen separate from the gluten food. Perfect for people with Celiac Disease who cannot have cross contamination. It comes out with a sticker on top of the boxlabeling it as gluten free too. This is my go-to place to eat safely!“

“First time trying after many years. We arrived around 855pm and seemed like they were closing soon.

3 of us quickly ordered 6 entrées. Food was great but only big negative was that one us feeling under the weather and requested own set of side dishes..very relunctly given as waitress said they normally don't do that. Mind you were order 6 entrées for 3 of us whereas the final bill exceeded $165....little perplexed. Also...No side dishes refills...hmmmm which was very odd. What if we all sat separately!? We should surely get our own side dishes. When asked for refill side dishes...kitchen closed so a flat no. Why can't the waitress ask us prior to shutting down especially we stated we wanted to order kalbi takeout and we were also denied. Hmmmmmm.

“I got to experience Chantanee Thai Restaurant this evening and it has become a favorite of mine for sure! the food is fresh, flavorful and delicious! Great service, a clean and comfy restaurant. I tried the Crispy Cashew Chicken, which is the best I've had. I ordered a level 2 spice and it was very got for me, so if you enjoy spicy hot food, this is a great place to try. Can't wait to take the hubby here!!! Their sauces are great, the fried vegetable spring rolls are a great appetizer. Excellent experience!“

“I'm not too sure about the negative reviews but the girl at the counter was very nice to me. I got a blueberry bubble tea and it was one of the best bubble teas I have ever had. I'm sure the two reviews that are negative must have happened on a day everyone was stressed out that worked in the restaurant and maybe they did get a little snippy but there's no denying that they have very good food and the girl was very sweet to me at the counter. Some of You people act like you've never had a bad day. The dude probably has people try and get four and five bowls of soup at a time on him and with the way cost have gone up on everything I'm sure he is watching the soup like a hawk. “I honestly don’t understand why this place has so many bad reviews out here. I genuinely was worried before trying this place out again after I saw the reviews but I liked the food the first time so I decided to try it again. And both time I really loved the food. I tried there chicken tandoori and also their biriyani. I had their special Hyderabad dum biryani. It was flavorful and also had two big pieces of chicken alongside the appetizer style chicken on top unlike a lot of other places which has more rice and less meat.
And the taste is balanced and authentic.
It was cooked perfectly and not too spicy or overly chilly focused like a lot of other places.
And I say this as a South Indian raised in India her whole life and as someone who knows the food closely. This place is better than royal biriyani house tbh

“I am not usually one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience and defend the staff here.
My husband and I came in yesterday to watch the USA game. The servers were doing a great job handling what was clearly a busy environment. Unfortunately, I witnessed what appeared to be an owner publicly berating staff and abusing their authority. One server, in particular, went from being happy, friendly, and attentive to visibly upset after the interaction.
A short time later, a woman who we later learned was the General Manager arrived. The difference in leadership was immediately noticeable. She stepped in, brought calmness and professionalism to the situation, and helped redirect the focus back to the customers and staff. It was clear that the team responded positively to her approach, while the owner returned to socializing with friends.
I want to commend the female staff members and the General Manager for maintaining their professionalism under what appeared to be a very difficult and toxic management situation. They handled themselves with grace and continued providing excellent service despite the circumstances.
The staff deserve recognition for their hard work and resilience.“

“Had dinner at Anderson School's Tavern on the Square. Roasted Brussels sprouts were outstanding. Grilled chicken salad had best dressing I've ever tasted. Entree was asada style NY steak and fries topped with chimichurri. Fries and chimichurri the best. Steak on the other hand was terrible. About a third gristle, the rest cold and tough as leather. I ordered medium rare. It looked just right so it wasnt the cooking, rather just a lousy cut. Nevertheless been to T on S before, loved it and will definitely go back. Just won't order steak again.“
