“Bothell’s Ta Joia isn’t your sleepy strip-mall filler—it’s a technicolor veggie parade disguised as dinner. I ordered bibimbop, spring rolls, and the feijoada bowl, which felt like a samba in a rice bowl. It’s the rare spot where “eating your vegetables” is less a chore and more a sly dare. Flavor bombs everywhere, and suddenly I’m craving greens I never cared about. That’s Bothell magic.“

“I've been going to Amaro for years and it's consistently a solid choice. The ambience is perfect for gathering with friends or a date as it's easy to have a conservation without having to compete with loud music or tables that are too close together. The food prepared is well with quality ingredients and desserts are made in house. If you enjoy the traditional Italian preparation of calamari, this is one of the best renditions I've had outside of Italy. It's a starter, but I've occasionally ordered a double as an entree. Amaro is very accommodating with substitutions. Last night my friend didn't want risotto with her pollo arrosto, so they gave her a vegetable medley instead and it turned out beautifully. For a dinner house of this type, pricing is quite reasonable. The service is attentive and sincere, but often a little disjointed. They serve Caffe Vita, which is my favorite local roaster“

I am a Mexican Food Conisiuer and La Gloria was the BEST by far that I've enjoyed in Western Washington (Bothell). Enrique and Krew were Spot On in every aspect of an Excellent Dining Experience. “While we unfortunately don't live in state and get to enjoy the stores in person, we have been purchasing from Zulus online for over 4 years now and we have always had a positive experience with them. This last order I had placed was no different on their end, had an issue with a pricey package being marked as delivered and misdelivered multiple times by UPS over the course of 2 weeks, back and forth getting nowhere and Zulus customer support was so helpful all along the way. Amazing communication, we had purchased the shipping insurance and they helped to get us a replacement order via Fedex, appreciate them so much through all of that. Keep kicking butt Zulus!“

“Waited patiently as this shop reworked the old Lyon's Den coffee house here in Bothell, and when I found they were open I went and had them make me a sandwich. And then another. And then a third, and now I'm on a fourth (the joker dip) as I write this review. Because they're just that good. I don't go there daily (I don't want to tire of them!), but what with them being across the street from the post office where my mail goes, it's not only an easy stop, it's a winner as far as the food. Food is quite tasty, staff are wonderful and friendly. This isn't fancy, interior is mostly a no-frills vibe, but you will not regret getting a sandwich from these guys. For any New Yorkers reading this or similarly inclined to this end, if you want your Durkee turkey you gotta buy your own Durkee sauce for home; sorry, I don't make the rules, and I don't know of any sandwich shop in Seattle that carries the sauce.“

“I love everything at Uncle Peteza's... cheesey bread!!!!!, Hawaiian pizza, and antipasto salad are my ultimate go to's. My family has been ordering from here ever since I was a little girl. When we were kids it was our Friday night staple and we always looked forward to that. I also loved going to Frank Love Elementary back in the early 2000's for basketball and pizza night. The best! “Got takeout from big fish sushi tonight, hubs made a mistake ordering hand rolls instead of maki and they remade them for free. Super nice even though it was totally our fault. They also have a great bento box for kids, katsu,rice,California roll and edamame for $9 for kids. They have enough for 2-3 meals. Everything was delicious we will definitely be ordering again soon“

“I've always had a nice experience at Viva Jalisco. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere with authentic Mexican vibes. The food is always good—I particularly enjoy the Enchiladas Jalisco, the tortilla soup, and the carne asada. Their horchata is also a solid choice. For dessert, the authentic flan is delicious and worth trying. The staff is friendly, and in my experience, the pricing feels reasonable.“

When we saw that Best Teriyaki had lots of gluten free options, we decided to stop in and pick up take out to bring back to our hotel. We waited about 15 min for the food to be ready and when we got home saw that my dish wasn’t only marked GF but also was packaged in its own bag. I really appreciated the extra care taken to ensure I could eat safely.
I got the GenTao chicken with fried rice and it was everything my Chinese takeout heart desired. It was sweet and spicy and so delicious I didn’t even take any photos. Portion size is large and could be shared easily if you got an appetizer.“

This one seems to have more traditional dishes but all flavorful, well cooked and good portions. The seafood pancake was the best one I’ve tried, though the dipping sauce was kinda plain.“

“I had a great experience at this teriyaki restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The chicken teriyaki was tender and juicy, with just the right amount of sauce—not too sweet or overpowering. I also try chicken Katsu. The portions were generous, and everything came out hot and well-prepared.

“I'm not too sure about the negative reviews but the girl at the counter was very nice to me. I got a blueberry bubble tea and it was one of the best bubble teas I have ever had. I'm sure the two reviews that are negative must have happened on a day everyone was stressed out that worked in the restaurant and maybe they did get a little snippy but there's no denying that they have very good food and the girl was very sweet to me at the counter. Some of You people act like you've never had a bad day. “I honestly don’t understand why this place has so many bad reviews out here. I genuinely was worried before trying this place out again after I saw the reviews but I liked the food the first time so I decided to try it again. And both time I really loved the food. I tried there chicken tandoori and also their biriyani. I had their special Hyderabad dum biryani. It was flavorful and also had two big pieces of chicken alongside the appetizer style chicken on top unlike a lot of other places which has more rice and less meat.
And the taste is balanced and authentic.
It was cooked perfectly and not too spicy or overly chilly focused like a lot of other places.
And I say this as a South Indian raised in India her whole life and as someone who knows the food closely. This place is better than royal biriyani house tbh

“I am not usually one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience and defend the staff here.
My husband and I came in yesterday to watch the USA game. The servers were doing a great job handling what was clearly a busy environment. Unfortunately, I witnessed what appeared to be an owner publicly berating staff and abusing their authority. One server, in particular, went from being happy, friendly, and attentive to visibly upset after the interaction.
A short time later, a woman who we later learned was the General Manager arrived. The difference in leadership was immediately noticeable. She stepped in, brought calmness and professionalism to the situation, and helped redirect the focus back to the customers and staff. It was clear that the team responded positively to her approach, while the owner returned to socializing with friends.
I want to commend the female staff members and the General Manager for maintaining their professionalism under what appeared to be a very difficult and toxic management situation. They handled themselves with grace and continued providing excellent service despite the circumstances.
The staff deserve recognition for their hard work and resilience.“
