“While we unfortunately don't live in state and get to enjoy the stores in person, we have been purchasing from Zulus online for over 4 years now and we have always had a positive experience with them. This last order I had placed was no different on their end, had an issue with a pricey package being marked as delivered and misdelivered multiple times by UPS over the course of 2 weeks, back and forth getting nowhere and Zulus customer support was so helpful all along the way. Amazing communication, we had purchased the shipping insurance and they helped to get us a replacement order via Fedex, appreciate them so much through all of that. Keep kicking butt Zulus!“

“Waited patiently as this shop reworked the old Lyon's Den coffee house here in Bothell, and when I found they were open I went and had them make me a sandwich. And then another. And then a third, and now I'm on a fourth (the joker dip) as I write this review. Because they're just that good. I don't go there daily (I don't want to tire of them!), but what with them being across the street from the post office where my mail goes, it's not only an easy stop, it's a winner as far as the food. Food is quite tasty, staff are wonderful and friendly. This isn't fancy, interior is mostly a no-frills vibe, but you will not regret getting a sandwich from these guys. For any New Yorkers reading this or similarly inclined to this end, if you want your Durkee turkey you gotta buy your own Durkee sauce for home; sorry, I don't make the rules, and I don't know of any sandwich shop in Seattle that carries the sauce.“

“The Hop and Hound was an intimate and inviting beer bar with solid service and more options for seating than I expected for such a small space. The options on tab weren't as large as other beer bars in Seattle, but they had a decent selection nonetheless. Had a great time.“

“A lovely coffee shop with a nice outdoor seating area for pets in downtown bothell. I can't do coffee so I have very particular about chai lattes and theirs was very good! Sat outside with my dog catching up with a friend for over an hour and had the best time. Use the parking garage across the street for convenient parking. For a sunday at 1:30pm it did take awhile to get our drinks but all else was good.“

I went on the grand opening day and just happened to be the first customer.. staff was SUPER helpful and extremely kind!! i tried half the menu short ribs, lamb chops, chicken tender and the whole chicken! everything turned out to be amazing!! the best part about all of this is all the meat is 100% Zabiha Halal Certified!!! “This so the third Stone restaurant we’ve tried in the area. Great food at all locations. The menus are different depending on which one you go to. This one seems to have more traditional dishes but all flavorful, well cooked and good portions. The seafood pancake was the best one I’ve tried, though the dipping sauce was kinda plain.“

There's a lot of customization options and plenty of combinations to try.
The bubble waffles are a fun little treat. You can pull them apart, and they even have dip options.
Sometimes, they are a little busy and don't have enough people to keep up. When they're in a rush, the bubble waffles don't come out as crispy, so they're best ordered when it's quiet.“

“I am not usually one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience and defend the staff here.
My husband and I came in yesterday to watch the USA game. The servers were doing a great job handling what was clearly a busy environment. Unfortunately, I witnessed what appeared to be an owner publicly berating staff and abusing their authority. One server, in particular, went from being happy, friendly, and attentive to visibly upset after the interaction.
A short time later, a woman who we later learned was the General Manager arrived. The difference in leadership was immediately noticeable. She stepped in, brought calmness and professionalism to the situation, and helped redirect the focus back to the customers and staff. It was clear that the team responded positively to her approach, while the owner returned to socializing with friends.
I want to commend the female staff members and the General Manager for maintaining their professionalism under what appeared to be a very difficult and toxic management situation. They handled themselves with grace and continued providing excellent service despite the circumstances.
The staff deserve recognition for their hard work and resilience.“

“Had dinner at Anderson School's Tavern on the Square. Roasted Brussels sprouts were outstanding. Grilled chicken salad had best dressing I've ever tasted. Entree was asada style NY steak and fries topped with chimichurri. Fries and chimichurri the best. Steak on the other hand was terrible. About a third gristle, the rest cold and tough as leather. I ordered medium rare. It looked just right so it wasnt the cooking, rather just a lousy cut. Nevertheless been to T on S before, loved it and will definitely go back. Just won't order steak again.“

I was informed by staff that cigar smoking is not permitted anywhere on the McMenamins Anderson School property, including the outdoor patios. If you’re specifically looking for a place to relax with a cigar and a drink, this may not be the right choice. Otherwise, the property is beautiful and worth visiting if you don’t plan to smoke.“
