“Excellent food, big portions, and a fair price. Imperial Wok is a great mom and pop restaurant in Bothell. I'd recommend the fried crabmeat rangoons and the orange chicken which comes with rice. My only complaint is the restaurant can be a bit hot.“

“The ladies that took my order were so nice, and friendly. While ordering I was asked if I wanted a salad, "I said no", I was given a choice to add Xtra rice instead.....That was so awesome!!
I highly recommend this restaurant!!!“

“Yesterday, we visited this establishment for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed! From the food and service to the ambiance, everything exceeded our expectations. The lighting was just right, not too bright. As someone who is particular about teriyaki, I must say, the dish here was absolutely delicious!“

“We came for the first time for the lunch special, which felt really reasonably priced for the portion size, a rarity in UDistrict! It wasn't very busy, and service was quick. Only comment is that I expected it to be spicy, and neither of us found it very spicy.“

“Summary:
A great spot if you’re craving dumplings/potstickers. Their chive and shrimp dumplings are fresh and flavorful, making it worth a visit. However, I wouldn’t recommend the Dan Dan noodles as they fall short of authenticity. Service is quick and polite, run by what seems to be a hardworking couple. Overall, it’s a solid choice for dumplings, earning four stars.
Ambience (4/5):
The atmosphere is simple and no-frills, but it’s comfortable and welcoming. It’s a cozy spot to enjoy a casual meal, especially if you’re in the mood for dumplings. The focus here is clearly on the food, which is the main attraction.
Authenticity (3/5):
The dumplings are definitely the highlight, and the chive shrimp variety stands out as fresh and flavorful. However, the Dan Dan noodles were a letdown. They arrived in a stone bowl/pot, which looked unusual, and the taste was just okay—definitely not authentic. You can find better versions of Dan Dan noodles elsewhere.
Flavor (4/5):
The chive shrimp dumplings were fresh, with a great balance of flavor. I really enjoyed how the chive complemented the shrimp. However, the Dan Dan noodles were underwhelming in both presentation and taste. Stick to the dumplings—they’re what the restaurant does best.
Cost (4/5):
For the quality and portion sizes, the prices are reasonable. You’ll get a solid meal without breaking the bank, especially if you focus on the dumplings, which are definitely worth the price.
Service (5/5):
The service was excellent. It seems to be a couple running the restaurant, and they were fast, efficient, and very polite. The speed of the service really impressed me, and they made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable.
Tips for Visiting:
1. Stick to the dumplings: The dumplings are the star of the show here, especially the chive shrimp dumplings. I’d recommend focusing on these and skipping the Dan Dan noodles.
2. Quick service: The service is speedy and polite, so even during busy times, you won’t have to wait long for your food.
3. Casual spot: If you’re looking for a casual place with good dumplings, this is a great choice. The ambiance is simple, but it’s all about the food here.“

“We have been going to the Edmonds location for over 7 years! We love their food! It’s a great spot and kids are welcome. Here are some of our favorites: The egg and chive dumplings OR the entree, The colorful salad, their fresh noodles in the chow mein are super good as well, and the accompaniment foods. My husband regularly orders a big order of the Spicy noodle salad and divides it up for the weeks lunches!! The LFP location is a great spot to get quick food and I order them on Uber Eats! Bonus!! My only wish would be the Edmonds full menu also being on a delivery service.“

“This restaurant is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Seattle area. Their Pork buns, Dan Dan noodle, sesame chicken, dumplings, sichuan vice pepper chicken, fried rice are excellent. If you prefer less spicy or less salty, just let them know and their workers are happy to accommodate for you.“

“Some of the best Chinese food I've had in the greater Seattle area. SPECTACULAR. It reminds me of a favorite place i grew up with back east. The taste is exactly what you want, and that fried rice burrito was absolutely fantastic (i needed to break out the gloves to keep my hands clean, though, haha!)“

“This is a very classical Sichuan and Hunanese restaurant!! We ordered four dishes here for four people! The waiters are really choosing chili peppers there!! When I have those good, i have a nostalgic feeling for my hometown!
I would say that the specialty the stir fried pork belly 农家小炒肉 can definitely be better! This is the standard to classify whether a Hunan flavor restaurant is authentic. The classical braised beef and beef tripes 卤牛腱 are adequate, and the clay pot tofu 石锅豆腐 is perfect for our friends who cannot have spicy food, and the pork belly chicken 一品猪肚鸡is so smooth and not spicy!! This four dishes are a lot for four of us so we cannot finish them!!
Rice is not included. And it is $1.99 for one bowl. We ordered one box of them around $8, but that is too much for four of us! So 2 rice may be enough if your friend does not have rice.“

“The quintessential American-Chinese restaurant, Chan’s exceptional service can only be out done by their food. It’s exactly what you want from this type of restaurant, and pricing is super affordable.
The bartender who’s here most everyone night has a near photographic memory, and remembers a lot of customers by name. He’s super friendly smart and responsive.
They also have a projector screen for all the hit games as well as a solid happy hour. So consider this a win for a week night or even weekend football game.“

“This was my first time going, and the food was absolutely delicious. This is definitely going to be my go to spot for Chinese takeout. My boyfriend took me since he went a lot when he was younger, and the owners even recognized him. They also remembered his order and how he likes a regular dish he would get. This is the kind of place that truly values their customers.“

“The only place I know that offers the crispy Stinky Tofu. They are a bit expensive but worth the find. If you are looking for Taiwanese meals, this is the place to go! Usually fast to get seated if coming in with 2-4 people. Bigger groups might take a bit and would recommend making a reservation. As a transit rider it is fairly close to bus stops.“

“Summary:
This noodle bar in Seattle offers an incredibly authentic Szechuan dining experience, with bold flavors and even real peppercorns in the dishes. The fact that an American chef could execute such an authentic Szechuan dish was a pleasant surprise. Although they close early at 2 PM, which cut my work time short, the food and overall experience were so good that it still deserves 5 stars.
Ambience (4.5/5):
The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, perfect for a quick lunch. It’s a cozy spot that has an authentic feel, and though it’s small, it offers a comfortable setting for enjoying a meal.
Authenticity (5/5):
The flavors were spot on! I was impressed with how the chef, despite being American, created such an authentic Szechuan dish. The use of real peppercorns gave the dish that unique, numbing spice that you’d expect from a true Szechuan meal.
Flavor (5/5):
The flavors were bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced. The peppercorns added just the right amount of heat and tingling sensation, making the noodles incredibly flavorful. The authenticity of the flavors definitely stood out.
Cost (4.5/5):
For the quality and authenticity of the food, the prices were very reasonable. It’s a great spot to grab a quick, delicious, and affordable meal without breaking the bank.
Service (4.5/5):
The service was good overall, though the only downside was being asked to leave right after lunch when they closed at 2 PM. While understandable, as they were closing, it would have been nice to be able to linger a bit longer, especially since it’s a great spot to sit and work. That said, the staff was polite about it, and I have no complaints.
Tips for Visiting:
1. Arrive before 2 PM: They close early, so plan your visit accordingly, especially if you want to sit and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.
2. Try the Szechuan noodles: If you love bold, authentic flavors with real peppercorns, this is a must-try dish!
3. Great for lunch, but don’t plan to stick around for long as it’s a quick-service spot that closes in the early afternoon.“

“Delicious buns, hot and fresh! Came in because they had fresh soy milk and open really but that wasn't the highlight. We got pork scallion buns and they were delightful. We got the soy milk which was unsweetened but the lady added sugar for us. She was very sweet and helpful. The soy milk was a little overcooked but it was still awesome compared to store bought bottles. The buns were so good we came back again 2 days later and ordered extras.
I did encounter a problem with the order though. The first time I went in, there exactly 4 pork scallion buns, so the next time I knew I wanted more so I ordered online via Chowbus. There was a link to Chowbus online ordering from Google. When I arrived, the same lady said that there was no Chowbus orders, in fact they don't even use Chowbus anymore, only Fantuan and Uber Eats. She was more than helpful, got my buns for me and told me to just call next time as it would be cheaper, while I tried to cancel the Chowbus.
The buns were so great, the whole family loved them. If we lived in the area I would try more flavors. Highly recommend!“

“This is the place I go when I’m craving something spicy. As the name suggests, the food here is mostly spicy. If you’re not used to spicy food, I’d recommend trying a little first, or you might get a stomach ache.
The service is okay, don’t expect too much, but I appreciate how they pack your leftovers for you. The portions are big and the prices are cheap, which is great.
I absolutely love the Spicy Crispy Chicken Gristles. Overall, highly recommended for anyone who loves spicy food!“

“Always a great spot for take-away. I always get the beef teriyaki and it's great, sauce is not overwhelming. Recently had their orange chicken and I like it. Not too overwhelming and it doesn't have a weird mayonnaise-y aftertaste like other take-away Chinese.“

“Wide range of delicious choices, prepared consistently well and served with care. The atmosphere is indeed a strip mall, so it's not fancy, but it does have booths and they are comfy. The 2nd generation daughter was running the entire front of the house well, the place filled up but wasn't super crowded. This place is quick to get to from Bothell; we'll be back!“

“If you want authentic wonton noodle soup, this is the place. Make sure you dip the noodle into the red vinegar before sipping. The noodle is cooked with soup that's alkali (pH>7) to make it tender, so it needs the vinegar to balance out the taste. Everything including the wonton, and broth are authentic to the original form.
Other dishes like dry cook beef noodle and brisket rice plate also resemble the tastes in Southeast China region.“

“I love this place - close enough to campus for my walk to work but not on university way or ever too busy that I can’t come in and order take out directly and get it in <15 mins. I love to get the house fried rice, it’s so well seasoned and the to go box is always stuffed full, so it’s a great portion for the price.“

“I just got back from a week in China last month, and have been really craving some of the food that I'd had while there. After cruising some of the spots on the Ave, I went in here and was NOT disappointed. This is a very authentic restaurant, and will have dishes that you don't usually find on the menu at other chinese places. Service is minimal, atmosphere is super fast casual and minimal, but you're not there for that- you're there for the 10/10 food and they certainly deliver!“

“The food was amazing as usual. I have enjoyed food at Redmond location a bunch of times, but this was my first time at Bothell location.
Kid-friendliness: My concern with this place is always the space. But with toddlers, it felt more crunched. My baby in her seat was able to eat from our table as well as reach out to the neighbors table, and I felt horrible and kept saying sorry. Also, you can literally hear the whole conversation on the next table as it's not usually that loud in here, plus if you have toddlers trying to express themselves or enjoying their food, your neighbors might not necessarily enjoy their dining experience, just saying.“

“You get a bowl and pick the noodles and toppings you want. The quality of the toppings will vary depending on the time of day you go. The toppings are pretty standard. Then you pick a protein. They have a range of protein choices. The noodles freshly cooked on a big iron plate. This tastes amazing because it’s hot and freshly cooked. The flavor of the noodles is pretty standard. You can add “gravy like” sauces on your noodle, but it’ll make it very wet and soggy.
Not saying the food is bad at all, sometimes I actually crave it! I think it’s just tasty because it’s freshly made and hot. The actual flavor is rather average
Kid-friendliness: Kids size available“

“One of our go-to restaurants on a cold day. The addicting mala fish is our favorite but the signature sauerkraut is also excellent if you’re not feeling spicy. The crispy pork is a great pair with the soup, especially when dining in so it stays crispy.
Quality has been consistent across many visits and one soup + pork is enough to feed the two of us. Overall a great stop!“

“For me, who has been in the United States for a few years, let alone Chinese food in other states, as far as Chinese food in the United States is concerned, the taste of this Northeastern food is incredible! I have never had such authentic food in Los Angeles.
But it should be said that the only drawback is that the cost has increased and the quantity of dishes is not that large. It is understandable and it is not easy. The rice that costs 2 yuan is a little bit too little.“

“Honestly was SO surprised. I grew up in Toronto Ontario and has a lot of good Chinese food there. Since moving to Alberta it’s been abysmal. What an absolute treat to stumble upon this place. The best Chinese stew out there!! I added tofu and cabbage to mine. Also ordered it mild even though I’m pretty spice tolerant - glad I did!!
