“Always a great spot for take-away. I always get the beef teriyaki and it's great, sauce is not overwhelming. Recently had their orange chicken and I like it. Not too overwhelming and it doesn't have a weird mayonnaise-y aftertaste like other take-away Chinese.“

“Good quality food, quick service, clean interior, friendly staff…all around great restaurant, no notes! Definitely a hidden gem tucked away in a random plaza not too far from the city. I came on a Friday after work and despite it being during their rush, the staff were very polite and the food came out fast and tasted great! Will definitely be returning whenever the teriyaki cravings hit“

“We came for the first time for the lunch special, which felt really reasonably priced for the portion size, a rarity in UDistrict! It wasn't very busy, and service was quick. Only comment is that I expected it to be spicy, and neither of us found it very spicy.“

“Summary:
A great spot if you’re craving dumplings/potstickers. Their chive and shrimp dumplings are fresh and flavorful, making it worth a visit. However, I wouldn’t recommend the Dan Dan noodles as they fall short of authenticity. Service is quick and polite, run by what seems to be a hardworking couple. Overall, it’s a solid choice for dumplings, earning four stars.
Ambience (4/5):
The atmosphere is simple and no-frills, but it’s comfortable and welcoming. It’s a cozy spot to enjoy a casual meal, especially if you’re in the mood for dumplings. The focus here is clearly on the food, which is the main attraction.
Authenticity (3/5):
The dumplings are definitely the highlight, and the chive shrimp variety stands out as fresh and flavorful. However, the Dan Dan noodles were a letdown. They arrived in a stone bowl/pot, which looked unusual, and the taste was just okay—definitely not authentic. You can find better versions of Dan Dan noodles elsewhere.
Flavor (4/5):
The chive shrimp dumplings were fresh, with a great balance of flavor. I really enjoyed how the chive complemented the shrimp. However, the Dan Dan noodles were underwhelming in both presentation and taste. Stick to the dumplings—they’re what the restaurant does best.
Cost (4/5):
For the quality and portion sizes, the prices are reasonable. You’ll get a solid meal without breaking the bank, especially if you focus on the dumplings, which are definitely worth the price.
Service (5/5):
The service was excellent. It seems to be a couple running the restaurant, and they were fast, efficient, and very polite. The speed of the service really impressed me, and they made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable.
Tips for Visiting:
1. Stick to the dumplings: The dumplings are the star of the show here, especially the chive shrimp dumplings. I’d recommend focusing on these and skipping the Dan Dan noodles.
2. Quick service: The service is speedy and polite, so even during busy times, you won’t have to wait long for your food.
3. Casual spot: If you’re looking for a casual place with good dumplings, this is a great choice. The ambiance is simple, but it’s all about the food here.“

“We have been going to the Edmonds location for over 7 years! We love their food! It’s a great spot and kids are welcome. Here are some of our favorites: The egg and chive dumplings OR the entree, The colorful salad, their fresh noodles in the chow mein are super good as well, and the accompaniment foods. My husband regularly orders a big order of the Spicy noodle salad and divides it up for the weeks lunches!! The LFP location is a great spot to get quick food and I order them on Uber Eats! Bonus!! My only wish would be the Edmonds full menu also being on a delivery service.“

“Well deserved 5 Star review!
I have been craving some good Sichuan chicken around Seattle, and was never lucky.
Today, I tried Asian kitchen and had an incredible experience. The food was absolutely delicious and bursting with authentic flavors, and the ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked.
I highly recommend the Sichuan chicken, orange chicken, and the spicy chicken. These plates were amazing.
I would definitely be coming back if they maintain the quality. The chicken was high quality, flavorful and really fresh. Vegetables were fresh and tasty too.
Dishes that I tried and loved: Sichuan Chicken (Spicy L1) , Orange chicken (Spicy L2), and Spicy chicken (Spicy L3).
Dietary restrictions: I had some dietary restrictions and they respected that, and suggested accordingly.
Parking: I didn’t have any parking problem
Kid-friendliness: Kids friendly“

“This restaurant is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurant in Seattle area. Their Pork buns, Dan Dan noodle, sesame chicken, dumplings, sichuan vice pepper chicken, fried rice are excellent. If you prefer less spicy or less salty, just let them know and their workers are happy to accommodate for you.“

“We added ribs to the lamb dry mix noodles. Meats were spiced deliciously and fall-apart tender. Noodles and gyoza had great chewy texture. We also really enjoyed the scallion pancakes and cucumber salad. Lots of Asian fusion sauces...sweet chili, curry, chili oil. The chicken bao was our least favorite item as the sweet mustard sauce was overpowering and toppings were simple (just chicken and lettuce).“

“Such an incredible new Chinese place for north Seattle! Every dish we had was amazing. Mongolian beef with crispy rice noodles--perfect flavor. The sweet and sour pork was like nothing we've had before, and the pot stickers are clearly made from scratch on site, they taste soooo fresh. Best of all, the chef had just whipped up a bath of popcorn chicken with this amazing sweet/spicy seasoning, and let us try it to give our opinion on the new recipe. So good! Very high quality food, made fresh, and incredibly reasonable prices. (Most entrees I saw are $9-12.) And the owners are exceptionally kind and professional. This will be our go to when we are in the neighborhood.“

“This was my first time going, and the food was absolutely delicious. This is definitely going to be my go to spot for Chinese takeout. My boyfriend took me since he went a lot when he was younger, and the owners even recognized him. They also remembered his order and how he likes a regular dish he would get. This is the kind of place that truly values their customers.“

“Some of the best Chinese food I've had in the greater Seattle area. SPECTACULAR. It reminds me of a favorite place i grew up with back east. The taste is exactly what you want, and that fried rice burrito was absolutely fantastic (i needed to break out the gloves to keep my hands clean, though, haha!)“

“Came in for dinner (after 9pm) on a weekend. There was no wait which I imagine is due to the large volume of rain, though we first had to be seated at the bar due to all the tables being occupied.
Service was fast; our waiter brought out the menus and took our order very fast. We noticed a table left and asked our waiter if we can be seated at a table instead due to the amount of food we ordered. He later cleaned out the table and moved us over very quickly.
We ordered some items off the happy hour menu as well as the regular menu. The mala wings had a very nice crunchy texture along with a thick crust. The Dandan noodles were bouncy and the kitchen was very generous on the toppings and chili oil. The skin of the soup dumplings is roughly the same thickness compared to other restaurants in the area that offered soup dumplings but is more resilient/less likely to be broken by chopsticks. I highly recommend ordering the beef in chili oil as I feel it's the best dish to indulge in the numbing properties of Sichuan peppercorns.
Overall I'd rate this above DTF and the same level as dough zone for soup dumplings, though the other menus outside of soup dumplings would make me enjoy this more then DZ.“

“Chef Liao Asian Fusion Cuisine is a cozy little spot conveniently located near the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. It’s a perfect choice for a quick and satisfying lunch after a morning of exploring the zoo.
The portions here are incredibly generous, so come with an appetite! The service was impressively fast and very friendly, which made for a pleasant dining experience.
I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, which came with white rice, hot and sour soup, and an egg roll. The Pad Thai was flavorful and well-balanced, with just the right amount of tanginess and sweetness. I also tried the Sweet and Sour Chicken, which was delicious but, in hindsight, I would recommend asking for the sweet and sour sauce on the side. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it would have allowed for a bit more control over the flavor.
Overall, Chef Liao is a fantastic spot for a hearty, delicious meal with quick service and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re in the area, especially after a trip to the zoo, it’s definitely worth a visit!“

“The only place I know that offers the crispy Stinky Tofu. They are a bit expensive but worth the find. If you are looking for Taiwanese meals, this is the place to go! Usually fast to get seated if coming in with 2-4 people. Bigger groups might take a bit and would recommend making a reservation. As a transit rider it is fairly close to bus stops.“

“Summary:
This noodle bar in Seattle offers an incredibly authentic Szechuan dining experience, with bold flavors and even real peppercorns in the dishes. The fact that an American chef could execute such an authentic Szechuan dish was a pleasant surprise. Although they close early at 2 PM, which cut my work time short, the food and overall experience were so good that it still deserves 5 stars.
Ambience (4.5/5):
The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, perfect for a quick lunch. It’s a cozy spot that has an authentic feel, and though it’s small, it offers a comfortable setting for enjoying a meal.
Authenticity (5/5):
The flavors were spot on! I was impressed with how the chef, despite being American, created such an authentic Szechuan dish. The use of real peppercorns gave the dish that unique, numbing spice that you’d expect from a true Szechuan meal.
Flavor (5/5):
The flavors were bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced. The peppercorns added just the right amount of heat and tingling sensation, making the noodles incredibly flavorful. The authenticity of the flavors definitely stood out.
Cost (4.5/5):
For the quality and authenticity of the food, the prices were very reasonable. It’s a great spot to grab a quick, delicious, and affordable meal without breaking the bank.
Service (4.5/5):
The service was good overall, though the only downside was being asked to leave right after lunch when they closed at 2 PM. While understandable, as they were closing, it would have been nice to be able to linger a bit longer, especially since it’s a great spot to sit and work. That said, the staff was polite about it, and I have no complaints.
Tips for Visiting:
1. Arrive before 2 PM: They close early, so plan your visit accordingly, especially if you want to sit and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.
2. Try the Szechuan noodles: If you love bold, authentic flavors with real peppercorns, this is a must-try dish!
3. Great for lunch, but don’t plan to stick around for long as it’s a quick-service spot that closes in the early afternoon.“

“This is the place I go when I’m craving something spicy. As the name suggests, the food here is mostly spicy. If you’re not used to spicy food, I’d recommend trying a little first, or you might get a stomach ache.
The service is okay, don’t expect too much, but I appreciate how they pack your leftovers for you. The portions are big and the prices are cheap, which is great.
I absolutely love the Spicy Crispy Chicken Gristles. Overall, highly recommended for anyone who loves spicy food!“

“I love this place - close enough to campus for my walk to work but not on university way or ever too busy that I can’t come in and order take out directly and get it in <15 mins. “Wide range of delicious choices, prepared consistently well and served with care. The atmosphere is indeed a strip mall, so it's not fancy, but it does have booths and they are comfy. The 2nd generation daughter was running the entire front of the house well, the place filled up but wasn't super crowded. This place is quick to get to from Bothell; we'll be back!“

“If you want authentic wonton noodle soup, this is the place. Make sure you dip the noodle into the red vinegar before sipping. The noodle is cooked with soup that's alkali (pH>7) to make it tender, so it needs the vinegar to balance out the taste. Everything including the wonton, and broth are authentic to the original form.
Other dishes like dry cook beef noodle and brisket rice plate also resemble the tastes in Southeast China region.“

“Best Chinese food in Seattle! I’ve tried multiple dishes here and they were phenomenal! If you order certain dollar amount you get an appetizer or entree free which is a bonus! Everyone that I encountered in the restaurant are so friendly and welcoming which made me feel so special and genuinely care about their customers unlike a lot of restaurants in Seattle. The portion is big so you can definitely split but I usually order several dishes to eat the next day and still tastes amazing! Highly recommend if you want good Chinese food with great value!
Foods I tried that were amazing!
- Hand shaved noodles
- Singapore noodles
- Sweet and sour chicken (you can get this free if you order $45)
-Mooshu veggies
-Salt and pepper squid
Every time I go, I’m trying new items but I guarantee everything here is very tasty!“

“I just got back from a week in China last month, and have been really craving some of the food that I'd had while there. After cruising some of the spots on the Ave, I went in here and was NOT disappointed. This is a very authentic restaurant, and will have dishes that you don't usually find on the menu at other chinese places. Service is minimal, atmosphere is super fast casual and minimal, but you're not there for that- you're there for the 10/10 food and they certainly deliver!“
