ChiHo Bistro Reviews
Changing my review because the food was actually extremely delicious and generous portion which makes the price point reasonable. Still not sure why I wasn't able to get any sauces (soy sauce, chili oil) but it sounds like they addressed that. I would recommend this restaurant and will go back once I'm back in town.
I saw their ads on Instagram so we decided to check out the 2 person summer special menu, essentially 4 items for $49 which is an excellent deal. We really liked the food and service, I found the food a bit to oily. But I will return for the dumplings 🥟
This was the best food in Seattle we have eaten! Everything was delicious, but our heart was stolen by the salt&pepper tofu and hongkong wagyu beef curry! Every bite was truly a pleasure and we were simply amazed by every dish. This is a restaurant everyone should visit!!

ChiHo Bistro is a casual Chinese eatery known for its rich flavors, thoughtful execution, and high-quality ingredients. The restaurant is especially popular among truffle lovers, offering dishes like the truffle XLB, which features dumplings filled with savory broth and topped with earthy truffle flavor, providing an incredibly comforting experience. The truffle fried rice is highly praised for its deep wok flavor, balanced seasoning, and the way the truffle enhances the dish without feeling heavy. Another favorite is the duck, with crispy skin and tender meat, which pairs well with the truffle dishes, completing the meal beautifully.
The menu also includes standout dishes like the peppered beef and BBQ pork fried rice, both highly recommended for their delicious flavors. The fixed menu options, including soup dumplings and wontons in chili oil, are appreciated for their authentic taste and quality. The restaurant’s atmosphere is suitable for both date nights and family dinners, making it a versatile dining spot.
Vegetarian options are impressive, with vegan soup dumplings and well-balanced textures in dishes like cauliflower and fried tofu. Although service can sometimes be slow, the overall experience is memorable due to the delicious food, generous portions, and welcoming environment. Many visitors find ChiHo Bistro to offer some of the best Chinese food in the area, often returning for its consistent quality and unique flavors.
