“This place does not need any presentation as it is a famous international asiatic dumplings chain. The service was great as well as the food quality. We did eat the vegetarians dumplings and they were really tasty. I do recommend this place in case you want have an asiatic lunch or dinner.“
“The service here was incredible. I honestly couldn’t believe it. My wife and I each ordered a bowl of wonton soup. The server was nice enough to tell us one bowl was enough for two. Also when the guy came out with the wonton soup he was nice enough to spoon some out into a separate bowl for each one of us. I love the people there!“
“We bought a live red king ? crab, a live finish and live swamp eels from the seafood market next to it. They helped cook all the seafood in whatever way you want, they even could cook the king crab in three ways, very tasty ? the fried noodles and veggies are delicious ?. Highly recommended!“
“Came here on a Sunday night for dinner and ordered off the happy hour menu. Most of the tables were full despite making reservation. We ended up sitting at the bar. We had five items: Dan Dan noodles, chicken wings, broccoli, shrimp egg roll and pork short ribs. Everything came out quickly and was so delicious! This is definitely elevated Chinese food. Dan Dan noodles has such savory aroma that it was love at first bite. ? The waiters were definitely busting their chops to get everyone served. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.“
“The food is good - I ordered takeout and picked it up on my way to the train station. Cute packaging….but there are no eating utensils, napkins or even sauce for my dumplings!!! I understand not including especially utensils and napkins - that turns into garbage. But at least ask if one needs it when you hand over the order! And for sure include the sauce with the dumplings. Who ever heard of such a thing??“
“Adorable mom & pop place with classic tea house balcony and solid food. Staff was extremely friendly and food was tasty and freshly prepared. Good mix of dim sum staples and classic Hong Kong and Macau dishes like the baked casserole and coffee/tea mixed (if you really know HK diner food then you know this iconic beverage). Quiet and no wait so give them a try next time you're huddled outside next door!“
“Five dollars for an order of potstickers is the best deal in Pike Place market and they were absolutely delicious. I also ordered the barbecue pork hom bow. Honestly, I didn't like it. The pork was really jellied, but maybe it's just not my thing. But the potstickers were incredible. Egg roll was good enough.“
“This is an up-beat place for dim-sum. Come early as people tend to lime up right around lunch time and there's quite a wait if you're late.Parking: Parking is very limited, you might need to walk a couple blocks if you want to park for free.“
“great neighborhood chinese spot. got take out, and food was all done how you'd like it - full of flavor, cooked quickly in a wok to maintain texture of ingredients, and not overly greasy. reasonable prices and good options for any vegetarians in your group (just make sure to ask if things that look like vegetarian dishes have oyster sauce in them). the woman running the place is a sweetheart too. will definitely be back especially to try the lunch special and make this a regular takeout spot!“
“Great place for a quick Dim Sum treat. The items are not as abundant as you can get in a normal restaurant that serves dim sum, but there are still a lot to choose from. And you can find most of the signature dim sum dishes like shrimp dumplings, shumai, steam rice noodle rolls, sesame balls, etc. And the best thing about this place is you can order any quantity you'd like.“
“This is an only slightly upscale version of a specific type of Chinese food joint one would find on the East Coast. In other words, a rare find in Seattle. Don’t come here expecting what you’re used to unless you’ve enjoyed Chinese in NYC. If you’re like me and miss spectacular egg foo young or chow fun in that particular Hong Kong/American style, you gotta go. I’ve been here a couple-dozen times since discovering the ONLY good EFY here in 2014. It’s pretty much consistently great and I get good service (no, not amazing service but it’s not Canlas, people. Get over yourselves). There are many varieties of Asian cuisine to be had in Seattle. This is the only one of its kind I’ve found here. Very worth a try.“
“This is my favorite dim sum spot in the entire Seattle area! There’s also a massive selection, I’ve tried countless dishes, yet still haven’t tried everything. A few of my favorites are anything with shrimp (so many different options) the broccoli and their dessert buns. Yum.If you’re looking for an amazing dim sum brunch spot, try this place out and be ready to wait in line for a bit, it’s no secret how delicious it is!“
“This is a good Chinese Food restaurant. They have a very large menu to include an extensive seafood menu. You can order live fish and seafood, and have it cooked to order. This is a great place to get late night eats, they’re open till 3:30am on the weekends.“
“Terrible parking but great food. it's tucked back in the corner with very little street parking. The food is worth driving around for a space. Everything we tried was delicious. I loved the cucumber spirals and the pan fried dumplings. The green onion pancake was not greasy at all. They were out of soup dumplings, so we didn't get to try those. This is a great place to go for dumplings, and it's half the price of bigger places like, maybe, DTF. It has less variety, but it's just as good.“
“We're from out of town and they gave us free tea and soup while waiting for takeout because we thought we could eat inside until 11pm (they're fixing they're google times to be more accurate). The dumplings, rice, chicken, soup, tea, service, everything was absolutely amazing!!!' Thank you guys so much!“
“Sad I didn't know about this place sooner. I grew up in San Francisco, love dim sum, and crave it all the time. There are decent spots in the Seattle ID, but this is my new go-to for to-go. Favorites:- Chicken feet were fresh out the steamer -- melted in my mouth and so tasty.- Pork spare ribs were juicy and tender, and the rice rolls were silky smooth. - Siu yuk (roasted pork) had crunchy skin.- Bok tong go (sweet rice sponge cake) was light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. They make thinner pieces, which I much prefer. A full box for $5.Also good: - Ha gao (shrimp dumplings) were huge with lots of shrimp filling.- Jin duy (fried sesame balls with red bean filling) was less greasy and very crunchy.Service was quick and friendly. They were busy with walk-ins early Saturday but cranking out new steamer baskets to keep up with the demand. Space is bright and clean. Prices are very reasonable. Love it!!!“
“Absolutely delicious. We came here once for work and it was good enough we came back the next day!If it’s busy, be prepared to wait a bit for a table and for some of your foods - the kitchen can be the slow part. However, it’s amazinglyWorth it. Every dish we had felt authentic and was tasty.“
“My boyfriend and I came by here for lunch a few weeks ago and I seriously cannot stop thinking about those chicken soup dumplings. My boyfriend loved the lamb skewers as well! This was my first time having soup dumplings since there is none in my city (?), my boyfriend has had them many times due to being from a much larger city and he agrees with my love of these dumplings.Ping was incredibly kind and so accommodating! She was not only kind to us, but she was kind and accommodating to multiple people who came in while we were eating, even to a man seeking water for him and his friend. This was notable to me since it is not uncommon for restaurant owners and workers to just tell people no and treat struggling people poorly. I truly do not see or agree with some reviews that spoke negatively of her and called her rude.We unfortunately live about 5 hours from Seattle but we will certainly come back every time we visit Seattle! We got strawberry bubble smoothies on the way out and it was also so delicious! Thank you so much again for your hospitality and I can’t wait for our next visit!“
“Best place for family style dinner. The variety of food is amazing!! The seating capacity is quite good. A/V quality needs to be improved but manageable. Their menu is quite big and the location is picture perfect- right on the Lake Union with tons of free parking.“
“Frank B had the Din Tai Fung experience at the ALL STAR GAME! I unequivocally share that the dumplings are sensational & delicious. For stadium food this stands out above the rest of concession stands at the ballpark. Ordering is simple and convenient since no cash is needed. Well, you must pay but with a major credit card only. It's a tad loud due to 30,000 + people around but they got Franks order correct. Now next time I hit the ballpark I'll grab a double order for my pleasure.Frank B is out!“
“2 hour free parking on the 3rd & 4th floor garage is a big plus for a restaurant in Seattle's Chinatown - 1) you're not worried about finding $5/hr street parking with bums nearby & 2) a 6 car event is easy.Joyale Restaurant on 2nd floor has delicious food with big portions and good prices. Good Dim Sum service too.Restaurant is Big and can handle large parties & banquets. Same owners as the old Joy Palace on MLK & Graham St (now Ding Feng)“
“Visited here a lot since I moved to Seattle for the affordable price and morning opening time. Recently I feel that they became more delicious for the same old price, so I go here more for breakfast before work! Also, for our group events in the CID area, we have opted frequently for takeout dim sum from this spot, and it's unanimous—everyone says it's fantastic. Also like the small togo assorted dim sum box they arranged for us. Recommend this place to others looking for quality eats at affordable price !A sidenote for Chinese speakers: I think their pineapple buns are the best in Seattle. I buy at least four of them every time I go there. I really don’t want to recommend them because I’m afraid I won’t be able to buy them, haha. . The butter of pineapple oil is a bit ordinary, after all, it is cheap, so every time I will buy a package individually, take it home and heat it up before adding the butter I bought at home. It is delicious and a must-have for my wife?“
“Phenomenal. This is what makes Seattle wonderful. Even without asking the server brought out dishes in the proper order, tea was offered immediately upon arrival. Promptly seated, all of the vegetables in each of the dishes was cooked to perfection and the tofu and egg were flawless and custardy. The shrimp and spinach dumplings were marinated in broth and very flavorful. It takes a lot to get five stars out of me, but this place delivered.Vegetarian options: Server is happy to answer questions about the contents of sauces.Dietary restrictions: Transparent“
“It had been at least 5 years since we've last been to Din Tai Fung. We enjoyed our meal. I think I liked the Shrimp & Kurobuta Pork Spicy Wontons the most out of all the things we've selected. For dessert, we loved the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao, and I could have finished an order of 5 on my own because of how good it was. I'm not sure when we'll be back, but I eventually want to try everything on the menu at least once.“
