“A Chinese restaurant with an “excellent” food safety rating. The dumplings are all super fresh and taste delicious. Owner is from northern China and her dumplings definitely are authentic. We prefer boiled > steamed > pan fried. We love the pan fried pork buns and also the large steam buns. Friendly owner and food is delicious.“

“This is my favorite place when I’m craving home cooked Chinese meals! I love their dim sum and congee, and their lunches are delicious. The duck bento and chow fun are our lunch faves, and they make great congee with fried dough and dim sum. My absolute favorite is their steamed rice rolls which is rare to find in Kirkland and they make it traditionally and fresh!“
“It had been at least 5 years since we've last been to Din Tai Fung. We enjoyed our meal. I think I liked the Shrimp & Kurobuta Pork Spicy Wontons the most out of all the things we've selected. For dessert, we loved the Chocolate & Mochi Xiao Long Bao, and I could have finished an order of 5 on my own because of how good it was. I'm not sure when we'll be back, but I eventually want to try everything on the menu at least once.“

“The service here was incredible. I honestly couldn’t believe it. My wife and I each ordered a bowl of wonton soup. The server was nice enough to tell us one bowl was enough for two. Also when the guy came out with the wonton soup he was nice enough to spoon some out into a separate bowl for each one of us. I love the people there!“

“Came here on a Sunday night for dinner and ordered off the happy hour menu. Most of the tables were full despite making reservation. We ended up sitting at the bar. We had five items: Dan Dan noodles, chicken wings, broccoli, shrimp egg roll and pork short ribs. Everything came out quickly and was so delicious! This is definitely elevated Chinese food. Dan Dan noodles has such savory aroma that it was love at first bite. ? The waiters were definitely busting their chops to get everyone served. Will definitely come back to try other menu items.“

I understand not including especially utensils and napkins - that turns into garbage. But at least ask if one needs it when you hand over the order! And for sure include the sauce with the dumplings. Who ever heard of such a thing??“
“We went to the new location and sat at the bar. The new restaurant is really nice! The food was good overall. We didn't like one seasame ramen we got and ended up not eating it, so that was a waste of money. Soup dumplings were good but the spicy wontons were much better in flavors.“

“Great place for a quick Dim Sum treat. The items are not as abundant as you can get in a normal restaurant that serves dim sum, but there are still a lot to choose from. And you can find most of the signature dim sum dishes like shrimp dumplings, shumai, steam rice noodle rolls, sesame balls, etc. And the best thing about this place is you can order any quantity you'd like.“
“Enjoyed takeout from here recently. Order was delivered with high quality, and the packaging was of a high standard. I got the fried wontons with sweet and spicy garlic sauce, and the beef stew noodles (a perfect dish when you're under the weather or needing comfort food!). Both were super flavorful and I was almost sad when they were eaten!! Really impressed by how good this was for takeout, surprisingly worth the price. I haven't eaten in the building yet but based on this experience I'm sure the restaurant will be good. It looks like a nice space in there with plenty seating and parking available too.“

“Honestly really great option if you want some buns/dumplings and not in the mood to deal with the possible crowd or prices at Din Tai Fung. Really solid chain, and the Bellevue location is decently spacious. Clean spot and well-scattered seating. They have an online menu with pictures so that should be really helpful. The spicy beef pancake roll is always an absolute essential for me when I eat at these types of dumplings restaurants. I almost look forward to this dish more than anything else sometimes. The spicy version is not that spicy, and has more flavor. I'll always get spicy over non-spicy. Wontons are great, I think there were like 6-8 in there from what I remember. Q-Bao as described, is one of their featured dishes. Crunchy bottom, soft top with a soupy center. Careful biting into these as they are hot and juices will literally shoot out!“

Don’t come here expecting what you’re used to unless you’ve enjoyed Chinese in NYC. I’ve been here a couple-dozen times since discovering the ONLY good EFY here in 2014. It’s pretty much consistently great and I get good service (no, not amazing service but it’s not Canlas, people. “Sad I didn't know about this place sooner. I grew up in San Francisco, love dim sum, and crave it all the time. There are decent spots in the Seattle ID, but this is my new go-to for to-go. Favorites:- Chicken feet were fresh out the steamer -- melted in my mouth and so tasty.- Pork spare ribs were juicy and tender, and the rice rolls were silky smooth. - Siu yuk (roasted pork) had crunchy skin.- Bok tong go (sweet rice sponge cake) was light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. They make thinner pieces, which I much prefer. A full box for $5.Also good: - Ha gao (shrimp dumplings) were huge with lots of shrimp filling.- Jin duy (fried sesame balls with red bean filling) was less greasy and very crunchy.Service was quick and friendly. They were busy with walk-ins early Saturday but cranking out new steamer baskets to keep up with the demand. Space is bright and clean. Prices are very reasonable. Love it!!!“

“My boyfriend and I came by here for lunch a few weeks ago and I seriously cannot stop thinking about those chicken soup dumplings. My boyfriend loved the lamb skewers as well! This was my first time having soup dumplings since there is none in my city (?), my boyfriend has had them many times due to being from a much larger city and he agrees with my love of these dumplings.Ping was incredibly kind and so accommodating! She was not only kind to us, but she was kind and accommodating to multiple people who came in while we were eating, even to a man seeking water for him and his friend. This was notable to me since it is not uncommon for restaurant owners and workers to just tell people no and treat struggling people poorly. I truly do not see or agree with some reviews that spoke negatively of her and called her rude.We unfortunately live about 5 hours from Seattle but we will certainly come back every time we visit Seattle! “Visited here a lot since I moved to Seattle for the affordable price and morning opening time. Recently I feel that they became more delicious for the same old price, so I go here more for breakfast before work! Also, for our group events in the CID area, we have opted frequently for takeout dim sum from this spot, and it's unanimous—everyone says it's fantastic. Also like the small togo assorted dim sum box they arranged for us. Recommend this place to others looking for quality eats at affordable price !A sidenote for Chinese speakers: I think their pineapple buns are the best in Seattle. I buy at least four of them every time I go there. I really don’t want to recommend them because I’m afraid I won’t be able to buy them, haha. . The butter of pineapple oil is a bit ordinary, after all, it is cheap, so every time I will buy a package individually, take it home and heat it up before adding the butter I bought at home. Promptly seated, all of the vegetables in each of the dishes was cooked to perfection and the tofu and egg were flawless and custardy.
