“I had the mapo tofu lunch special with classic milk tea and tried a couple of dim sum sides: shiu mai and wontons in chili oil.
The portions here are very generous! I'm pretty sure my mapo tofu included a whole block of tofu! I really liked the pickled carrot and daikon side, it made for a nice refresher between bites of the other items. The shiu mai were very large (3-4 bites each) with excellent, chunky filling and the chili oil on the spicy wontons was a good medium heat with plenty of spices. The classic milk tea was not very sweet, which is fine by me, but I know others might expect it sweeter so know that when you place your order.
I really like the variety of items that they offer on the menu. It can be hard to find a place that makes this many dishes and manages to do them all so well!
$15 for the lunch special with a milk tea is a really good deal! Staff was very friendly! I'll definitely be back!“

“The best lamb & scallion dumplings for sure, and the pork and cabbage were great too (we ordered both potsticker style). Ordering online is super fast and easy. Very cozy and homey atmosphere and the owners were so sweet and friendly. Will definitely be going back every time I’m in town. ?“

“This is my favorite dim sum restaurant in Seattle. The food is amazing and their attentive waiters’ customer service is top notch.
I removed a star because of their new policy of charging 3% for using a credit card. The waiter seemed uncomfortable having to tell me this and ended up waiving it after seeing how surprised I was. I’ll change my review to 5 stars if they ever remove the policy.
I love these folks and will definitely be back again soon.“

“This location is a very short walk from U Village is a great spot for a weekday lunch. There was plenty of seating available when we arrived before noon on a Monday. The simple onion and soy sauce noodles and chicken wonton soup became a new favorite for my kids here. The XLB and scallion pancakes are consistent here as well.“

“We had the ginger chicken and house fried rice. This place is one of the only Chinese restaurant left in Beacon Hill. This says a lot considering this use to be a Chinese neighborhood. The food is classic Chinese American. We will definitely be going back to contributing to their preservation. The first time we had it was at a catered event. I’m glad we went back. It’s an old school classic. Supporting or neighbors will be a joy. Can’t wait to try the chow mein.“

“We love Pings! It is our go to place downtown. We always get soup dumplings and beef noodle soup because they are so good! Ping is a one woman kitchen ( she does have help some time) and her recipes are full of flavor and nourishment. The dumplings are so good that they disappear off the plate. She always has 3 kinds of savory toppings for them. There is not another dumpling house in the Seattle area that can compare with her delicious fresh handmade dumplings.
The beef soup is also delicious, tender meat tasty broth, yummy noodles and enough vegetables to keep my palate happy.
Pings is less than 1/2 block from the light rail. You’ve got to try it!“

“The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. They catered to my 5-year-old niece being a very picky eater. Everything was fresh and delicious. As soon as we walked into the restaurant, I knew it was going to be fantastic. This is not a fancy place. The entire staff took a lunch break in the dining room while my family ate. I thought that was terrific. It's definitely family style. If I lived in the area, I'd be ordering the beef rice roll all the time. The pork and shrimp shumai was also incredible.“

“Came in for dinner (after 9pm) on a weekend. There was no wait which I imagine is due to the large volume of rain, though we first had to be seated at the bar due to all the tables being occupied.
Service was fast; our waiter brought out the menus and took our order very fast. We noticed a table left and asked our waiter if we can be seated at a table instead due to the amount of food we ordered. He later cleaned out the table and moved us over very quickly.
We ordered some items off the happy hour menu as well as the regular menu. The mala wings had a very nice crunchy texture along with a thick crust. The Dandan noodles were bouncy and the kitchen was very generous on the toppings and chili oil. The skin of the soup dumplings is roughly the same thickness compared to other restaurants in the area that offered soup dumplings but is more resilient/less likely to be broken by chopsticks. I highly recommend ordering the beef in chili oil as I feel it's the best dish to indulge in the numbing properties of Sichuan peppercorns.
Overall I'd rate this above DTF and the same level as dough zone for soup dumplings, though the other menus outside of soup dumplings would make me enjoy this more then DZ.“

““DAD, NO!!”
“Beef? What’s wrong with these people?”
[I did, but the chicken was better.]
a nice change of pace. don’t let the line discourage you as it moves quickly (especially if people know what they want BEFORE they get to the counter, hint hint).
Cash only, and no place to sit, but that’s fine as this is more “snack” than “dining”.“

“The only place I know that offers the crispy Stinky Tofu. They are a bit expensive but worth the find. If you are looking for Taiwanese meals, this is the place to go! Usually fast to get seated if coming in with 2-4 people. Bigger groups might take a bit and would recommend making a reservation. As a transit rider it is fairly close to bus stops.“

“After a week without Asian food, I was looking for a real dim sum place in Seattle. This definitely hit the mark! It is literally a mom-and-pop shop...the owners are a married couple that do everything in the restaurant. They mostly speak Chinese and their mannerism may be different for the typical American diner, but I am quite used to the custom.
Everything we ordered was spot on.
Shrimp dumplings and sui mai were large and freshly made. The wrappers were not mushy or dry...perfectly steamed.
The salt and pepper wings were well fried and not too dry; the salt and pepper squid was very good and not rubbery.
We ordered the mushroom rice rolls and it was amazing. The rice wrapper was soft and tender and the mushroom filling was plentiful and well seasoned, but not salty.
All of the food was amazing, especially when we found out that they do NOT use MSG.
So glad we stopped in.“

“The food was amazing as usual. I have enjoyed food at Redmond location a bunch of times, but this was my first time at Bothell location.
Kid-friendliness: My concern with this place is always the space. But with toddlers, it felt more crunched. My baby in her seat was able to eat from our table as well as reach out to the neighbors table, and I felt horrible and kept saying sorry. Also, you can literally hear the whole conversation on the next table as it's not usually that loud in here, plus if you have toddlers trying to express themselves or enjoying their food, your neighbors might not necessarily enjoy their dining experience, just saying.“

“I've been coming to Honey Court Seafood Restaurant for over 30 years and loving it. It's one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Seattle.
The food at this restaurant is authentic and flavorful. The servers are genuine and pleasant.
I've been coming to Honey Court for lunch, dinner, and sometimes at midnight since the restaurant close very late at night. That's another thing I like about this place.
My favorite dishes are beef chow mein, wonton soup, Mongolian beef, and salted fish fried rice. If you want good Chinese food, this is the place.“

“Dim Sum King Review: Straight-forward ordering (similar to sushi) - fill out a quantity sheet. I like that u can order by the each. Siu Mai = yummy; I would eat 15 Ha Gow = good; these aren’t my fav in general tho Steamed Buns: ok; barely any bbq filling - dough was good Shrimp noodle = yummy Fried footballs = yummy Potstickers = good; not my top choice tho Is available on Grubhub for delivery, however, prices r more experience per item than if u just go in and order; not sure about pickup thru Grubhub. Overall, I will b ordering from them again!“

“Dim Sum are huge! Esp at $4 or $5 per tray. They want quality so is limited in options. But they have what I usually eat. And their Roast pork is awesome with very minimal fat. You can get all your brunch stuff in one spot. Worth the detour for me.“

“Excellent Chinese restaurant with Week end Dim Sum menu that is brilliantly executed. The portions are well served and the prices reasonable. The service is fast and friendly and there is a good parking on the premises. This is what Chinese restaurants in America used to be and there is a bit of nostalgia if you depended on them for meals when I. College in the 80s.“

“Great dumplings, appetizer (beef tendon), and noodles! The plants and interior seems a little neglected but that doesn’t change the great flavor of the dishes and we got!
Ps. We had pretty similar experiences with the service of the restaurant, and finding a parking was a bit tricky, but we’d say the dumplings make the trip totally worth it!“

“Although they are always busy, it’s a must go spot for me and my boyfriend when we go to Seattle. All the food are amazing, love their dim sum, fried rice and noodles. Be prepared to wait for 30 mins if you go there around lunchtime (12-1), but it will be worth the wait. Food are authentic.“

“This is an only slightly upscale version of a specific type of Chinese food joint one would find on the East Coast. In other words, a rare find in Seattle. Don’t come here expecting what you’re used to unless you’ve enjoyed Chinese in NYC. If you’re like me and miss spectacular egg foo young or chow fun in that particular Hong Kong/American style, you gotta go. I’ve been here a couple-dozen times since discovering the ONLY good EFY here in 2014. It’s pretty much consistently great and I get good service (no, not amazing service but it’s not Canlas, people. Get over yourselves). There are many varieties of Asian cuisine to be had in Seattle. This is the only one of its kind I’ve found here. Very worth a try.“

“This is the most underrated Cantonese restaurant I've been to. I'm from the Bay Area and my friends recommended here during my staying in Seattle and the experience was wonderful. The eel claypot rice was so good that I felt shame not eating it all. Please, try the eel claypot rice when you get a chance. In Chinese it is written 黃鱔煲仔飯/黄鳝煲仔饭.“

“After a long weekend of salmon fishing for the Everett derby, we stopped by to pick up some dinner for the road back home. We had been craving crispy roast pork and shrimp har gows.
When you enter there are steam trays of dumplings on the left and an open area with large tables to the right for dine in.
We were there mid evening so there wasn’t that many people in there. Our food was ready within fifteen minutes .
We ordered the two bbq plate, with roast duck and roast pork. An extra serving of roast pork, the soy sauce chow mein , bbq pork fried rice and shrimp har gows.
The roast pork was juicy and crispy, salty and sweet. A good meat to fat ratio.
The roast duck was fatty and juicy. Dripping with duck juices. Wish there was more duck meat, but overall still delicious.
The bbq pork fried rice was fluffy, and simple but paired so well with the saltiness and fatty ness of the meats.
The soy sauce chow mein could have used a little more seasoning, but I enjoyed the skinny noodles.
The shrimp har gows were everything we wanted. Nice chewy thin dough, with large chunks of shrimp inside. The order came with 4 . We inhaled these. Next time we’re going to order more.
Satisfied our craving. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their dim sum.“

“I got the Shen Jian Bao (pork soup dumplings) here, and they were decent
The dough on the outside was nice and soft, and the bottom had a brown-ish texture, indicating shallow frying
the inside was a bit lacking, though. it felt like mostly soup rather than having much pork filling. the pork inside was fine, but nothing special
for about $10, you get 5 dumplings, which isn't a bad price, but I wouldn't say it makes you full
overall, these are perfectly average dumplings, but there are better places. 7/10“

“Our family love this restaurant in BC, so glad they are finally have one here, I love their variety of seafood choice and different way of preparing them that like no others restaurants have it here. They have crab promotion the night we visited so we tried the lotus leaf/sticky rice steam crab, everyone loves it so much. We also tried their steam abalone with XO sauce it was delicious. We finished it so quickly and forgot to take picture of the abalone. Other foods here are great too. Great service since it was a week night and about 60% full. They have promotion from Monday to Thursday dinner on special item, we probably will come again to try out on different night. All their servers are great, especially Tony, he was so patient answered all our questions and attending to all our needs; it makes our dinning experience much more enjoyable!“

“Their dim sum was very good, if you know what you’re ordering. We go to dim sum quite frequently. We got a little bit of everything. The atmosphere was ok. The service was ok. We got the spare ribs, pork and shrimp shu mai, bbq baked pork bun, house vermicelli noodle dish, custard egg bun, egg tarts, beef meatballs, stir fry green beans, and more. I would say if you like soup dumplings xiao long bao this places were not my favorite, nor was their potstickers or egg tarts. I would say if you come here know what you are ordering or have someone who knows this place come with you. I would say the best things were the pork spare ribs, shu mai, egg custard bun, and vermicelli noodle dish.“

“First time here. Heard it was under the prior name of Joy Palace. Though they were packed (11am on a Sat), we were quickly seated. Cart came fewer than 3 minutes, very frequent, and always stacked.
We ordered the usual; siu mai (big and juicy), har gau (plump and succulent), Phoenix claws (perfectly braised), spareribs, tofu skin roll, har gok, honey char siu pastry (flaky and flavorful), egg tart (huge!). Oh, LOVE their house chili. Thoroughly satisfied with the meal.
The only bad thing is that the strip mall had seen better days. Hope the MLK revitalization project will make things better there.“

“This is my first time leaving a review for this establishment and it’s way overdue. I’ve been coming here for close to 7 years. I supported them throughout covid. And every time the food and service is on point. My go to order is the shrimp dumplings and the pork and shrimp shumai. Today i also ordered the sticky rice. The guy in the front knows me by name. Always friendly and accommodating. Today it looks like they had some internet issues so instead of calling my order i just went to the front counter to order. Not a big deal. The food still came out hot and fast. I will always support this place as long as i live. I’m a customer for life.“
