“We’ve been to Lucky House before, but honestly enjoyed it more this time around. After thinking about their prices compared to similar places we’ve been, I’d say they’re pretty average — despite some of the comments I’ve seen saying they’re expensive.
We went with a group of friends and ordered at least 10 different dishes, and everything we tried was good. It’s definitely family-style eating, which works great for sharing. The only downside was that they were a bit pushy with the food. We kept saying we were good, but they continued to encourage us to order more. A couple of times we ordered the smaller size of a dish and ended up getting the larger portion instead, which we didn’t realize until later in the meal.
On the flip side, the service was still attentive — they stayed on top of refilling drinks and checking in to make sure we were doing okay. They also have large tables, so it’s a solid option if you’re dining with a bigger group.“

“I am so full! Hot tea, followed by taro puffs (savory with a hint of sweetness, perfect crunch), fried garlic with eggplant (perfect amount of salt, I've never had douchi before, I ate a lot of them), Grandma's braised pork belly (omg it was like butter), Tsingtao lager, sesame coated red bean paste balls, and sichuan jelly (possibly called bingfen?), which is the cold dessert option. This place is awesome, definitely coming back to try the warm dessert and some seafood.“

“Golden Daisy Restaurant is a great spot for casual dim sum and Chinese BBQ. The food is flavorful, portions are generous, and prices are very reasonable. I especially enjoyed the BBQ meats and classic dim sum items — perfect for a quick meal or takeout.
The place itself is pretty simple and no-frills, so don’t expect a fancy dine-in experience, but service is fast and staff are friendly. Overall, it’s a solid option when you’re craving comforting Chinese food without spending too much. I’d definitely come back.“

“I ate from this restaurant for lunch for the first time and it was great! Everything was evenly cooked, the serving portion of each dish were very fulfilling, its not busy on the weekdays so you could just walk right in and order! If you want something similar to din tai fung and dough zone for a bit cheaper this is the place to go! My waiter was kwang and he was really respectful the entire time. I recommend coming to this place!“

“The Mei Wa Bakery is fantastic. They serve a wide mix of fresh, warm, sweet and savory pastries, as well as freshly made steamed dumplings and buns. The prices are very reasonable, and you can get a broad assortment of treats for under $20 (great for brunch or a morning treat). You could feed a family of four for under $40 if you opt for buns/dumplings. Value aside, the quality is fantastic. The flavors are balanced and not overwhelming for most items. We particularly enjoy the curry buns, the taro almond buns, the coconut cocktail buns, and the sesame red bean paste ball. They also have a large assortment of cold dessert cakes and pastries that we have yet to try. On top of all this, the service is always quick friendly and kind. Would recommend to locals and visitors alike.“
