“This place has improved significantly 0over the last few months. Food has always been tops, now they have the service to match. I go for a 30 minute lunch break, and always have extra time. Try the general's chicken, and the spicy chicken teriyaki if you have my taste, or the banh mi sandwich you have my partner's taste. All 3 were exceptional. I'll be back many times.“

We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! If I were qualified to give food awards, this place would win my 2024 Best of Seattle award! 🥇👏🏻✨ Ps. They do not accept reservations - it’s first come first serve. Around 6pm, they go on a waitlist and a line starts to form outside. Don’t bother calling to get on the waitlist - they won’t even do that for me! You have to show up in person to get on the list.“

“Went here with my family. We had reservations so we were able to go in right away (there was a lot of people waiting). The drinks were really good and the food was awesome! Our waitress was very nice and suggested to split burger before we even asked (our family likes to share). We even made a reservation in two weeks to take other friends there! Definitely recommend!“

“I have come here a handful of times with my partner and I love it! I don't think I have ever had a bad dish here. I try to order something different each time but there is so much to choose from! And so far my favorite is the basil stir fry and the eggplant basil stir fry. The portions are generous for the price. I like to order 2 or 3 dishes and then take the leftovers. They last me a few days afterward! The staff is very friendly and I enjoy my conversations with them. All in all, a great place. If I lived closer, I'd probably come here several times a week.“

The Good:
The Karaage was well cooked and juicy
The Chicken thigh yakitori was good
Happy hour pricing was reasonable
Friendly servers

The Bad:
The ramen broth was....not good. It was like a watered down Costco ramen broth with noodles and toppings. The pork belly was overcooked. The toppings were haphazardly chosen and distributed.
The eel skewers were cold and not grilled at the time of order but were clearly pulled from the sushi case.

The rest was fine. If you're craving izakaya food late night it will do the job but if it is early enough consider other options.

Id give it 3.5 stars but I'll round up since the service was decent“

“I'm laos, we make similar food to Thai food I'm going to tell you right now this was the most delicious restaurant I've ever eaten at like the flavor was just so balanced and so savory, good and authentic If you're looking for the best Thai food this is the place I barely write reviews lol but I had to write this because it was so delicious If I could I would eat here everyday lol, This place is a Gem I wish them successful tbh they should raise their prices, their quality doesn't match the pricing you get way more then you pay more quality wise other thai restaurants are charging more and they don't even taste half as good as here!“

“We were so busy running around that we didn’t even realize it was almost 10 PM and suddenly, almost every restaurant was already closed. Then Nua popped up and we saw they were open until 1 AM(on Saturday) Such a surprise!

We headed over right away and ordered peek kai tod, khao soi, pla tod, and tom zaap and wow, every single dish was incredible. So delicious, full of flavor, and truly authentic Thai taste.

We ended our night with the special delicious Thai dessert roti gluay and it was the perfect sweet finish

“It’s a place locked in time. There is no need for it to be anything other! It’s because they have mastered what they do and that is Pho. It’s a wonderful experience finding a place feels special and I am so glad I have found such a place. Just got get delicious Pho!“

So many unique dishes (and I’d guess authentic but can’t speak from personal experience), and the staff are so nice — they pack everything in containers and tape them closed, and then staple the bags closed so they’re safe and secure for takeout. Call-in orders for pickup only! Same owners run Pestle Rock next door, and Jhanjay Vegetarian Thai Cuisine Wallingford. Photos of my favorites: KROB KEM: plantain chips! They have 4 sizes of the bowls which is perfect cause sometimes you wanna switch the amount of soup size and the price is from 14,15,16,17 bucks depends on the size. “Just went there for the Gyudon and it exceeded my expectations. It was very delicious and on the spot. Down side is nothing to do with the restaurant but parking. It is hard to find a good parking spot. However will be coming back but probably picking up the food rather than dinning in.“
