The parking lot is very small. There ia another one downstairs that you can park from the back of the building, then work upstairs to the restaurant.“

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. “One of the best Pho Tai (steak) that I’ve ever had. I’ve lived in Asia for 16 years, so please believe me when I say this Pho is legit!

- fragrant, aromatic, and clear broth. Not too salty like other Americanized Pho.

- TONS of beef (I got extra beef for $6, totally worth it)

“Ramie offers a modern take on Vietnamese cuisine that really stands out from the usual spots. As Vietnamese ourselves, we were extremely impressed by the quality of the ingredients, the craftsmanship behind the dishes, and the attentive service.

The bánh tiêu was a pleasant surprise—served with butter and packed with rich sesame flavor. The balut duck egg dish was creative and beautifully executed, while still keeping the traditional flavors intact. The garlic noodles were another highlight: freshly made in-house and cooked perfectly al dente. The chicken dish was also fantastic, super flavorful and paired nicely with grilled kale.

Overall, a really memorable dining experience. Ramie does a great job blending tradition with a modern approach, and it’s definitely a place we’d recommend checking out.“

It was our first time dining here. The food was DELICIOUS, HEALTHY, and FAST. We are so amazed by the portion, too! We have enough to pack home for a second meal! The veggies were very fresh, the meat was full of flavors, and they had rice, noodles, and bread for different starch choices.

Oh right!! We love it so much that on their ordering machine, the tip suggestions were 3%, 5%, and 8%. Like, brothers and sisters. Can you recall the last time you saw that in an ordering machine? “I’m a bit of a pho snob (shout out to SF’s Kevin’s Noodle House #2 - iykyk) and this is hands down the best pho I had had in Seattle. Broth was robust. Noodles were the best consistency. Extras were fresh. And the staff was incredibly welcoming. I made the mistake of going to A Nam Pho on 35th. Never again!! You can feel the care that goes into a plate of food here. 10/10 recommend.“

Bread and quality of meat were both good. My only complaint was that there's too much meat, but most people probably like that.
It's got a typical low-key Asian restaurant atmosphere. In other words, it's not polished nor pretty. But the food is good.

The coffee was good, though a bit heavy on the condensed milk.

“I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.“

We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! “Visited Bamboo Restaurant on a quiet Tuesday afternoon ,not crowded, which gave the place a calm, almost unhurried atmosphere. Service was quick, and the food arrived without delay.

I ordered the #14 pho large. The broth leaned toward ginger and lime, with a light oil finish and a subtle hint of cinnamon, a nod to the traditional spice base. However, it lacked the depth and cohesion you’d expect from a properly slow-simmered pho.

Typically, spices like star anise, cloves, and cinnamon should come together in a balanced, layered way , here, they felt slightly disconnected.
The noodles were thin and cooked well, though fairly neutral in flavor. The meats were a strong point , well-seasoned and prepared correctly, adding needed substance to the bowl.

I also tried the chili oil (saté), and this is where things dropped a bit. It had a heavier, more generic profile — lacking the aromatic depth and freshness you’d expect from a well-crafted blend.

It felt closer to a pre-made, store-bought oil rather than something developed in-house, which took away from the overall experience.

The atmosphere was extremely quiet no music, minimal interaction which made the space feel slightly awkward rather than inviting. Small details were also missing, like basic table spices or salt.

That said, there’s a certain honesty to this place. It has a simple, home-style feel: casual, calm, and straightforward.

At around $20 per person, it sits in a range where a bit more refinement in both flavor and experience would elevate it significantly.
A decent spot if you’re looking for something quiet and uncomplicated — but not quite there if you’re after a deeply traditional pho experience.“

“My husband and I have been living in this neighborhood for over a year and we couldn't believe it's taken us this long to discover BOL! After returning from a long trip, we ordered delivery and the driver went beyond the call of duty and dropped off our hot food directly in front of our third-floor apartment door. It arrived before we even got home and we were beyond amazed at the quality of vegetables and MSG-free broth!!!! I've been suffering bad reactions to MSG at many other restaurants nearby so finding BOL is such a game-changer for us and a new favorite staple.“
