“I did LOVE this place as my go to place for Pho is no longer around. The very first time I ordered I asked for hoisin sauce on the side and got no hoisin sauce at all. I called and asked they said to put it in the notes that I wanted it on the side. I said okay fine. So I put it in the notes on the side the next time I ordered from this place. still got no hoisin sauce. Figured I'd give it one more try so I tried it today wrote it on the side and got no Hoisin sauce. So I called the place and explained the situation and they said that that was their bad and they misunderstood. No rectifying no nothing I hung up out of complete disappointment. I'm done trying this place now. Which super sucks.“

“Still my favorite place in Everett. The pho broth is a very close 2nd in flavor, but the portions…that’s what takes it over the top! While other Pho places charge an arm and a leg for (what I think is a medium bowl), they have their XL house combo pho. Look at the photos. Massive!

Son and I shared the XL and plenty for two servings.

Service is pretty good, but I’m more here for the food lol.

“I have eaten here many times. The owner is a very nice man and remembers me when I stop by to pick up food. My favorite items are the fresh spring rolls and the chicken pho. I highly recommend this place! If you want great food in North Everett- this is the place to stop by! Also, I love the potted garden in the drive through area. It is well cared for, lush and green! A little natural haven in the middle of the city!“

“Visited Bamboo Restaurant on a quiet Tuesday afternoon ,not crowded, which gave the place a calm, almost unhurried atmosphere. Service was quick, and the food arrived without delay.

I ordered the #14 pho large. The broth leaned toward ginger and lime, with a light oil finish and a subtle hint of cinnamon, a nod to the traditional spice base. However, it lacked the depth and cohesion you’d expect from a properly slow-simmered pho.

Typically, spices like star anise, cloves, and cinnamon should come together in a balanced, layered way , here, they felt slightly disconnected.
The noodles were thin and cooked well, though fairly neutral in flavor. The meats were a strong point , well-seasoned and prepared correctly, adding needed substance to the bowl.

I also tried the chili oil (saté), and this is where things dropped a bit. It had a heavier, more generic profile — lacking the aromatic depth and freshness you’d expect from a well-crafted blend.

It felt closer to a pre-made, store-bought oil rather than something developed in-house, which took away from the overall experience.

The atmosphere was extremely quiet no music, minimal interaction which made the space feel slightly awkward rather than inviting. Small details were also missing, like basic table spices or salt.

That said, there’s a certain honesty to this place. It has a simple, home-style feel: casual, calm, and straightforward.

At around $20 per person, it sits in a range where a bit more refinement in both flavor and experience would elevate it significantly.
A decent spot if you’re looking for something quiet and uncomplicated — but not quite there if you’re after a deeply traditional pho experience.“

“This was the best Chinese food I have ever had! Spring rolls were delicate and not greasy, dumplings were seared, fresh and came with dipping sauces. Kung Pao chicken was perfection. Also want to state that the food is not over salted, so I could taste the flavors of the ingredients. Hot and sour soup was YUM.“

I can feed my whole family for $40, which is nearly impossible today even at factory farm fast food places. It’s great to know you can still get healthy delicious food, especially in Monroe. “This noodle soup restaurant is excellent! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The broth is rich and delicious, with a very authentic taste. My favorite dish is the grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli — the pork is perfectly grilled, tender, and aromatic, while the shrimp is fresh and tasty. “I'm not too sure about the negative reviews but the girl at the counter was very nice to me. I got a blueberry bubble tea and it was one of the best bubble teas I have ever had. I'm sure the two reviews that are negative must have happened on a day everyone was stressed out that worked in the restaurant and maybe they did get a little snippy but there's no denying that they have very good food and the girl was very sweet to me at the counter. Some of You people act like you've never had a bad day. The dude probably has people try and get four and five bowls of soup at a time on him and with the way cost have gone up on everything I'm sure he is watching the soup like a hawk. I don't blame him.. that's money out of his pocket.“
