But overall pleasant experience. The cashier was a little stand-offish, but transaction was quick and easy to complete. Drinks are hand-made to order, so wait times may take a little longer, but generally worth it.

For those individuals thinking this is a bubble tea shop, it is not.

“This place is PHENOMENAL. I go here a few times a month. They open at 9:30am sharp so it is very convenient for when I want pho for breakfast and all the other restaurants open at 11am. They have the fastest service I’ve ever experienced. You walk in, choose where you want to sit, and order right off the menu that is already on the table. Once you order, the food is out within a minute or 2. The menu small only offering pho and spring rolls or egg rolls but a variety of tea/drinks. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite and a chill environment.“

Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. “Oh, some excellent pho at this spot. Got a medium number 13 with the tripe and brisket and I mac’d on it greedily. Nothing like good pho! Sauce is a lighter/sweeter style, not as herbaceous as pho can be.

Service was fast and the guy was nice and a good server. Always happy to find a place I like! Atmosphere is aight. Nothing wrong, but a room of smudged mirrors with pop songs from 2007 blaring can be a little funny, but i liked it overall. 👍❤“

“I’ve been here quite a few times lately, and I keep ordering the same thing ..the fresh rolls with grilled chicken. I swap the peanut sauce for fish sauce, and that combo is so good! The grilled chicken with the fish sauce just works perfectly together. Maybe it’s just my preference, but I honestly love it. 😆

So far, it hasn’t disappointed me once. It’s definitely my go-to fresh rolls in the area. I really need to branch out and try more of the menu because everything else looks incredible too!

“I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.“

“I recommend Pho Smile. My mother and I ordered the brisket and beef rare pho and it was delicious! My aunt got D1 with both above plus meatball and the meatball was quite flavorful. The service was kind and attentive and our food came out quickly.

I assume it is the same broth they use for their pho, and it is really yummy. We also got the mango salad with tofu, which was not marked as vegan but we were assured it was. It was yummy and light, quite nice and fresh. The food was made very quickly and the staff was friendly. A very nice choice for lunch.“

We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! After returning from a long trip, we ordered delivery and the driver went beyond the call of duty and dropped off our hot food directly in front of our third-floor apartment door. It arrived before we even got home and we were beyond amazed at the quality of vegetables and MSG-free broth!!!! I've been suffering bad reactions to MSG at many other restaurants nearby so finding BOL is such a game-changer for us and a new favorite staple.“

“Haven't been at this Than Brothers in ages so the new location was a surprise. It's nice to see that the cream puffs have returned. Easy parking on the south side of the building. Nice open dining room. Always a favorite fast lunch option.“

“Had the bamboo shrimp skewers and a bowl of brisket pho (#15). The food was good and filling -- fresh ingredients and fatty broth.

The shrimp was interesting because it was more like shrimpcake wrapped around bamboo and fried, but it was tasty. I would def order again. I haven't seen this appetizer elsewhere.

Service was prompt and I was given a bottled water free of charge. I would definitely return!“
