But overall pleasant experience. The cashier was a little stand-offish, but transaction was quick and easy to complete. For those individuals thinking this is a bubble tea shop, it is not.

“This place is PHENOMENAL. I go here a few times a month. They open at 9:30am sharp so it is very convenient for when I want pho for breakfast and all the other restaurants open at 11am. They have the fastest service I’ve ever experienced. You walk in, choose where you want to sit, and order right off the menu that is already on the table. Once you order, the food is out within a minute or 2. The menu small only offering pho and spring rolls or egg rolls but a variety of tea/drinks. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick bite and a chill environment.“

Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. “Soild vietnamese spot for large soups.

We got the crab soup, and hot and sour pho with some spring rolls.

Spring rolls are what you would expect, nothing surprising there but probably didn't need with how much they give you in these soups.

Crab soup was very rich and had a ton of meat. My girlfriend who is very particular with her soups enjoyed it. The hot sour soup was also very good. Balance between the sour flavor was perfect, and the overall amount of food was worth the money. Everything was cooked correctly and had good variety in it.

If you want large bowls of soup with a depth of flavor the check this place out.“

“I have so many memories here. This was the first restaurant I ever went to in Lynnwood, and it’s also where I had my first date. Their pho is absolutely delicious and always feels like the best comfort food. I love their drinks too! The cozy atmosphere keeps me coming back whether it’s hot or cold outside, and the customer service is always nice. “Came on a Saturday afternoon after running errands. There were a few tables, but it was a very quiet and nice atmosphere. Really reasonable prices. I got a small pho with meatballs and rare steak. The broth was delicious on its own. I kind of regret adding anything to it because it was so tasty.

The chili crisp oil is delicious. Generous portions of basil and bean sprouts. They have real and to-go chopsticks. Food came out quickly. Looking forward to next visit.“

“I discovered this place maybe about a year ago and it is so good I sometimes go through phases of eating it even a few times a week! The staff is always very friendly, almost feels like family. They have a really cool fish tank with a bunch of fish right out front , and then there is the most important thing, the food! I have never had a bad thing on the menu here. I am on a mission to try every type of banh mi that they have, but I'm not there yet. I have had a good amount of their appetizers, most of their varieties of banh me sandwiches and have never been disappointed. “I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.“

“We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!“

“My husband and I have been living in this neighborhood for over a year and we couldn't believe it's taken us this long to discover BOL! After returning from a long trip, we ordered delivery and the driver went beyond the call of duty and dropped off our hot food directly in front of our third-floor apartment door. It arrived before we even got home and we were beyond amazed at the quality of vegetables and MSG-free broth!!!! I've been suffering bad reactions to MSG at many other restaurants nearby so finding BOL is such a game-changer for us and a new favorite staple.“

Edit: I came back and tried the grilled chicken banh mi. I would describe Sydney Banh Mi as being loud and in your face. This banh mi was subtle like French fine dining. The grilled chicken marinade shone through. Different to what I am used to but lovely. The highlight was the bread. It was SPOT ON! Good Banh Mi starts with good bread. It was perfect. Thank you. 🙏“

The portion was really big, even though i ordered small, i could barely finish it, which is really rare around here. The employees were attentive and nice, though interaction was short. Price is way more reasonable than other pho restaurants! We paid 50 ish dollars for three bowl of pho. Recommend!!“
