“We found Indus on a road trip headed to Seattle. We haven't had great India food for awhile honestly because there aren't any great Indian restaurants near our home. It was a short distance off the route for you travelers we highly recommend it. For you East coast transplants used to good Indian restaurants, yes it's good. So, on the return trip we stopped for lunch. Great dishes. We had vegetarian and fish dishes, Nan - not just plain and if course they have great musala dosa and a Nice chai to top it off. Enjoy“

“I honestly don’t understand why this place has so many bad reviews out here. I genuinely was worried before trying this place out again after I saw the reviews but I liked the food the first time so I decided to try it again. And both time I really loved the food. I tried there chicken tandoori and also their biriyani. I had their special Hyderabad dum biryani. It was flavorful and also had two big pieces of chicken alongside the appetizer style chicken on top unlike a lot of other places which has more rice and less meat.
And the taste is balanced and authentic.
It was cooked perfectly and not too spicy or overly chilly focused like a lot of other places.
And I say this as a South Indian raised in India her whole life and as someone who knows the food closely. This place is better than royal biriyani house tbh

“To be honest, I chose this restaurant randomly because it was close to the hotel I was staying at. While the ambience at the restaurant is not necessarily the best, don't let that deceive you. I ordered a takeout comprising aloo gobi, navarathna kurma, dal makhani and rotis. I didn't have high expectations to begin with, but imagine my surprise when my parents who had just flown in from India started raving about how outstanding the quality of the said dishes were. Always nice to be pleasantly surprised by these random finds.“

Food on time, hot, and high quality.

Some pies I rather have more sauce but I usually just purchase sauces to pair which are affordable- $.75 per. Or just use ur own stuff at home.

Menu is diverse so you can keep coming back for different flavors.

They didn’t offer red pepper flakes or Parmesan but I also didn’t ask.

Service was minimal, direct and dry- not overly friendly or polite but was professional. I’m OK with this since it’s pickup but could be a problem for someone that wants friendly atmosphere. I got the vibe they were just busy kicking out orders. Their performance is great so I’ll take that over mandatory hospitality. No complaints for hard working people..

Easy to park and grab to go.

Not a place to sit and dine. But want food to go? This is the place.

They hide their prices on the wall so everything is a mystery. No hand menus. I’m assuming they are doing this because dynamic pricing. If you have a tight budget, check on their website first before coming in.

Didn’t see any major special sales- prices straight forward online. They aren’t cheapest but not most expensive vs competitors. I think they have a decent balance between cost vs. quality.

They charge a 3% credit card service fee which is frustrating. While that is becoming popular, I’m not a fan of being penalized for using a currency.

They ask for tips on pickup orders- not a fan of this but again, it’s becoming a common practice.

Overall, great food and highly competitive pricing. Order directly from their site- not through UberEats or GrubHub . 3rd party apps will charge you more even with pickup orders.

Will I order and support this restaurant again? Absolutely. I’m a fan. They aren’t perfect but they are perfect in all the ways that matters.“

Expect long weekend wait times due to the high demand for this completely vegetarian (not vegan) restaurant. Most of the food is fried so consult your doctor before going. 8/10 for authenticity and the complimentary eco-conscience to-go containers. Don't forget to top off that water bottle with a bottle filling station. 💗 I definitely recommend the "Gobi65Biryani".
