“My sister asked for this restaurant for her birthday. We did takeout for 10 and it was amazing. The food was ready on time and didn't miss anything in our order. We have now found our go-to Indian restaurant and look forward to eating in person next time. We ordered so many dishes, I can't even begin to list them, but they were all extremely tasty.“
“The food was good! The indoor atmosphere was cold today. My friend and I had the buffet ($22pp) and it was decent. The mango mousse is amazing. I wish the garlic naan had actual garlic. I forgot to take pics of the actual food but I liked the veg biryani, saag paneer, and mixed veggies sabzi.“
“Finally an Indian restaurant in the Lake City area that is great. Food was delicious - would highly recommend egg curry, malai chicken Tikka, dosas and many other dishes. The service was pleasant and quick. No complaints whatsoever. So excited this place is only 7 minutes away from our house - we'll be back once every couple of months at least I think.“
“I bookmarked Indian-Nepali Kitchen curious about their cuisine and with them taking over the former Thai Thai Kitchen site. I was encouraged by the high ratings provided by other Yelpers over the past four months. I finally had the opportunity to check it out for lunch (3/5/24). The restaurant shares a free private parking lot with a hotel/motel. The Homie met me there after his UW class, conveniently hopping off the Metro Rapid Ride E at 95th and Aurora. We were promptly seated and provided menus and water. Pleasant, clean interior and decor. The three flatscreens had a travel show, Bollywood programming, and a soccer game playing simultaneously. Thankfully, muted and not a distraction. We started with their hot chai ($2.99 w/refill). It nice that one can tailor the sweetness with the provided sugar packets. The Homie selected Paneer Pakora as the starter (7pcs for $7.50). Nicely fried atop shredded cabbage and served with two chutneys. I also ordered the Sandheko Momo ($13.50) which was beautifully plated and garnished with onion and parsley. The unique blend of Nepali spices and Himalayan herb was amazing, with tender chicken filling, and encased with thin wrappers. None of the gummy thick momos experienced elsewhere. The serving bowls the entrees arrived in were fairly large and provided very generous servings. The Homie got Paneer Saag ($15.95), I ordered Lamb Korma ($19.95). Both were shared with a large serving bowl of basmati rice. Very tasty! We shared the Gulab Jamun ($4.50). I've had it served warm before, this was served cold which The Homie enjoyed. Overall, on point service, delicious cuisine. Ended up with plenty of leftovers due to their generous servings. An absolute culinary gem in North Seattle/Greenwood at 95th & Aurora! Their predecessor lasted six years, let's hope Indian-Nepali Kitchen remains successful for much longer. We definitely enjoyed our lunch onsite. I look forward to exploring the menu further.“
“This place is so, so good! We've been trying to find our Indian food go-to and this is it!We have tried so many things and haven't been disappointed. Saag paneer, chicken Tikka, lamb rogan Josh, chicken 65, veggie pakora - all amazing... I have to say one of my new favorites that they offer that I don't see often is the Avakai Paneer Biryani, wow! There is an under level of spice to all the dishes. If you have a low tolerance level, I would ask for raita.Love Momi!Dietary restrictions: There are a lot of vegetarian and gf options - just ask to verify.“
“Decent prices and delicious! I’ll recommend lamb curry , best of the best! Especially if you’re looking for halal food! Rapid service, if you order to go,you’ll get your order in 15 minutes which is very quick compared to other Indian restaurants! Cause I’ve been in many Indian restaurants in Seattle area, I highly recommend this place don’t listen the negative reviews, I order food from this place at least 4-5 times per week! Every Friday they have promo prices for Briyani! I noticed the negative comment from weird person, there is nothing wrong being Mexican or indian to cooking other cultures cuisine as long as they taught by chef, this is US, any race can be part of any cuisines! That’s why we are here! Sorry for being emotional, I just can’t stand when I see something unfair, this place is pretty decent with nice atmosphere and very friendly crew, when even they were almost close , they took my order without any complaints, huge respect for crew and owner!“
“The cuisine boasts freshness, offering some of the finest flavors we've savored in the Greater Seattle area. I highly recommend it for authentic North Indian tastes. The staff exhibited professionalism and courtesy.Vegetarian options: Large number of curries and other side dishes“
“Had a group order(all vegeterian) for 50 folks and every item was delicious! Customer service was great and had a very timely delivery. in fact writing this on behalf of atleast 4 of my friends! Must tries would be their double ka meeta! Cant wait to try their non-veg items and extend this review!“
“Went here for lunch, party of 3.Fast service and good ambience. We ordered Goat Pepper Soup, 2 starters - Pepper Fish Fry and Pulayonam Shrimp and 1 chicken 65 biryani.Overall food was great. Soup and starters were exceptionally good. As close to authentic indian taste and the best i have eaten in Seattle East Side. Biryani was also quite good, portions are quite big as well.Overall we went in with no expectations and were pleasantly surprised. Do give it a try for sure.“
“Incredible food, and the owner is incredibly kind (: absolutely recommend getting their take out, and can't wait for the day they can reopen the dine-in area so we can sit and enjoy the friendly atmosphere!Dietary restrictions: They were very helpful in recommending amazing dairy free options!“
“My experience at Caravan Kebab was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant offers a delightful blend of Middle Eastern and international cuisines, providing a culinary adventure for the taste buds. Not only were the prices very reasonable for the high quality of food and service provided, but the dishes themselves were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. I had the pleasure of trying the Caravan Kebab special, which was absolutely delicious and offered a wide variety of flavors. Additionally, the garlic Nun was a amazing in taste and texture. The ambiance of the restaurant was also noteworthy. The decor was both simple and traditional, creating a cozy and welcoming environment. To complement my meal, I enjoyed a refreshing Mango Lassi, which perfectly complemented the bold flavors of the dishes.Overall, I can't recommend Caravan Kebab enough. I left feeling completely satisfied and already looking forward to my next visit. If you're in search of delicious Middle Eastern and international cuisine served with exceptional service in a charming setting, look no further than Caravan Kebab.“

“We went for lunch - In short words: Great service, Nice ambience, OK foodService: was super nice, the lady (forgot to ask her name) was very patient and nice to explain the dishes, what it's made of etc.. and she kept checking on us etc..Food: we ordered Dim'er devil, Kolkata chicken biriyani, Machar something(forgot entire name), gobi manchurianDim'er devil: The best I liked is this - very very flavorful snack! (something i would consider for a next time buy again)Kolkata chicken Biryani: was next - a standard north style biryani, nice fluffy rice, with a sweeter note (than spice). It was nice, had some nice flavor to it (much better and authentic than some of the (north) Indian restaurants out there)Machar in banana leaf: The lady said, it's good but Bengali style (i think she was trying to warn me - but I wanted to try local cuisine). So, if u are into intense mustard and turmeric taste buds, then you may like it. Personally, I felt the mustard overpowered the actual dish(fish - the fish had 0 flavor of a fish btw) - so it was just OK for me. I wouldn't buy it next time (coz I only get mustard taste in my mouth). But if that is what is the authentic Bengali flavour, then it's one of their best made.Gobi Manchurian: So, this would be debatable. If you are someone who like the street based gobi manchurian (i.e. the one with thick vinegar based (sweet and sour) sauce, then you may like this. I preferred/expected more of an indo-chinese gobi manchurian (i.e. less vinegar based, but soy/sweet/sour/garlic mix if sauces), so not in my next time list.Overall food was OK, and/but portions were less (except biryani - decent portion) - from the dishes I bought, I would rate 3.75/5. But am waiting for buffet to reopen to try out more and see where it would stand.“
“I've taken my family here for dine-in and takeout and everything is always so delicious, my kids love going here! Their dine-in lunch buffet is a great value because you get to try a lot of different things, and their lunch and dinner menu portions are very generous also. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.“
“"Wow, talk about a lifesaver! I ordered food at the last minute for a small gathering and was blown away by the quality! The flavors were incredible, and the portions were generous. My guests were impressed, and so was I. 5 stars for sure! ??"“
“This business is only 1/3 of a mile from my house so that has a lot to do with why I come here so often. This is my favorite local dive bar. It is EXTREMELY Divey but that is part of its charm. i I use to like it when it was the Saloon, but I like it a lot more now because of the staff and the food.Let me start by saying that I love gambling in any form. Consequently, I love going to places that offer pull tabs. They have lots of pull tab games here. I have even been lucky enough to win multiple jackpots here.If you come often, you will see the same people every time (give or take 10%). Besides the pull tabs, I come here regularly really for the amazing food. Bir the owner, used to own the best Indian restaurant in town, and you can buy that food now, here at the Cookhouse. IMHO, now that Justaurant has closed in Bellevue, it is some of the best Indian food in Seattle.Don't get me wrong, this isn't an Indian restaurant. Instead, it is a bar with great food including a few Indian dishes. My favorite food includes the curry chicken, the chicken tikka masala, the hamburgers and the french dip sandwich with fries and ranch.Prices on alcohol are cheap and they have some really well priced Mon-Fri happy hour specials. I also really appreciate the kind and hardworking staff. They all have a lot of heart and talent, and it shines through every time I come. I have been here at least 20 times since it changed hands and I really like this place.“
“Butter and Spice (formerly Mahal) has been our favorite since we discovered it in 2017. We are vegetarian and we typically order a paneer kurchan and either dal tadka or malai kofta with tandoori roti (or garlic naan sometimes) and occasionally some other vegetable if we have guests over. They do a great job with our requests to keep it mild and/or spicy at times depending on ordering it for ourselves and/or for kids. We order at least once a month from this restaurant and have not been disappointed. We adore the fact that when dining in, they also give onions and such on the side which as an Indian I love and reminds me of service we get in India. We highly recommend this place!!Vegetarian options: There are plenty to choose from. I also recommend calling them to check if they can make something vegetarian that’s not on the menu.Kid-friendliness: They make adjustments for our two young ones and both our kids love their food.“
“I had the all you can eat buffet and the food was great! There was samosas, veggie curry, mutton curry, chicken fried rice, dessert, chai tea and yogurt drink. The line was long and service was slow because the food was really good. I would definitely go there again.“
“Had a nice dinner here. Went with the most recommended dishes. All of them were quite spicy. I generally order food 4/5 stars. When they say it’s spicy.l they mean 5 star spicy (in my opinion). We had to ask for yogurt and they were happy to provide.I recommend going and if you aren’t familiar with southern Indian cuisine then just follow the recommendations and ask for some yogurt to go along with them.A little bit pricy but excellent dinner.“
“Feel so blessed and delightful of chance to eat a so tasty meal here, it is buffet time before 3pm. You will enjoy the wide choice of India tradition, with a nunn as well. The food is made of lots of herbs , spices , ture color of asii. Very good to health too. Can't miss. If you hanging around.Has a big parking lot behind the restaurant and have a back door to enter from the lot.“
“This place serves very good food. Very flavorful, authentic and you can taste the freshness of the food. Very nice atmosphere and service was on top of things. Only problem was it took a little over 45 mins to get 2 plates of food. Other than that I would definitely recommend eating here.“
“I have tasted here pizza and biryani both are very very tasty it's almost best indian delicious food I have tried here..so I recommend to go here for pizzas burgers and biryani whatever the food is available in store very quality tasty and hygienic also...and talking about the staff they are friendly in nature and cooperates to customers with lot of paitnce even the store closing time also..“
“This is my absolute favorite Indian food place. Their chicken korma is soooo good. I dare say it is better than most Indian curries I have had when I was living in India. Our usual order includes the chicken korma, bread basket and veg samosas sometimes.“
“This place is the spot. Truly the best Indian food in the Bothell area. Everything we’ve had has been tender, spicy, and delicious. The multitude of Biryani dishes shine, but curries and tandoor options are excellent (particularly the Tandoori Chicken, Palak Paneer, and Tikka Masala). Living near Seattle, I happily drive the 20 ish minutes to get here. It’s worth it.“
“We ordered goat dum biryani and karampodi chicken. Both tastes really good. Had good mutton after long time. Goat was tender and well cooked. Butter roti was also good and went well with karampodi chicken. Had satisfying dinner for what we “
“Barring the price (it’s high!), everything is great. This place is an experience not a restaurant. If you’re from Mumbai, you have to visit. From Bollywood to Bombay Local trains, the theme is embedded in every little detail - from the posters to the creative tag lines to the food delivery to the menu to even the time of payment. The effort is commendable. The food is amazing and it’s been like that from the beginning. They have the best Chicken Lollipop in the Seattle Area. Two years ago, we decided to make this restaurant our monthly visit and have stuck with it - we look forward to it.Great job guys. Keep it up.“
“Sai was friendly and service was fast. Came here with my friend to try their mega dosa and this thing was HUGE. They had to combine two small tables to fit the mega dosa on the table.I live in Seattle and would definetly comeback to try other items.“
“I lived in England for 2 years where the national dish is chicken tikka masala (you read that right) and this was THE BEST tikka masala I have ever had. The rice was perfect and the garlic naan was insanely good too. Also the owner was incredibly nice and gave me a scarf. This place rules.“
“Went here for the first time with my partner and had a great experience. The staff was patient and attentive to everyone and they made sure we were all satisfied with our order. We had the coconut lamb curry and the vegetable saag, along with two delicious yogurt drinks that the female server suggested to us. Everything tasted amazing! Will definitely come back again when we visit Lake Forest Park.“
“Chris, our server, was incredibly attentive and made our dining experience memorable. The food was simply outstanding - each dish was bursting with authentic flavors and expertly prepared. This place has definitely set the bar high for Indian cuisine in town. Looking forward to returning soon for another flavorful experience!“
