Kathakali, An Indian Eatery, is a restaurant serving authentic Kerala cuisine in the greater Seattle area. The menu offers a variety of dishes, with standouts including mango puliseri, palakad avial, meen pollichathu, and butter chicken. Aappam is a popular accompaniment that customers find essential to try. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere with traditional decor and music, featuring friendly staff who are polite and welcoming. They are thorough in taking orders and pay close attention to tiny details, ensuring food and water are served just how customers prefer. The food is flavorful with generous portions and reasonable prices, making it a great spot for South Indian cuisine. Customers have enjoyed unique items from the menu, including masala dosa, butter dosa, chicken tikka, paneer tikka, banana fry, crab curry, and the highly praised jackfruit ice cream. Desserts are also noted for being very good and fresh. Overall, Kathakali is a place where diners can experience the rich flavors of Kerala cuisine.
