“Anthony’s HomePort @ Kirkland made my Birthday Special. First was greeted by a wonderful staff at the check in area. Then when seated at a wonderful window view was handed a cute Birthday card. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful. But the cherry on top of the experience was the sunset view we had while dinning. Thank You Anthony’s for making my Birthday Special and unforgettable!“

“The food is great and the service is even better. Sam is a wonderful attentive server who anticipated my needs and those of my 12-year-old son. He was managing during our visit but took the time to greet us, check in on us and make sure each dish was perfect.“

“What they lack in space they make up for in freshness, flavor and presentation. Tried lots of different rolls and the chicken teriyaki w gyoza and it was all amazing. P.S. komorebi is a Japanese word for light peeking through the leaves of trees and casting patterns. Perfect name for a such a little spot with such beautiful food.“

“Excellent food. I came to Kirkland to visit my daughter. Since there are no good Chinese places in Yakima, I decided to take everyone out to this place. Mongolian beef was the best I had in a long time. Hot and sour soup just the way I like it. Great service and the food was fast and fresh. Hope to go back there again one day.“

“The place was very busy, this may cause a variety of unwanted situations some of which are caused by customers themselves. We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. While we waited we checked the menu and ordered our food which came to us nice and hot and without much waiting. We found the service to be very good and the food was excellent. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. Everything was good and we can say this is a great place for Indian food. Will return.“

“Great food and excellent quality ingredients. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the soup was definitely the highlight. It had a rich and amazing flavor that made the meal even more enjoyable. “Great Service! Was welcomed immediately by bartender Dawn. Very charming and excellent explaining oyster selections. She kept on top of my orders. The happy hour choice of oyster was beyond what I expected! Big, ytasty. I’m a very picky oyster-ess! St. Louis, Mo. is not known for seafood AT ALL. Expensive and just “blah.” Definitely coming back and recommending to oyster loving friends!“

“Our meal at Cinque Terre was amazing. That was seriously some of the best pesto I've ever had. My husband's boar pasta had plenty of meat in the sauce. The pasta was fresh. And they even had some good mocktails - as a non-drinker, I appreciate when a restaurant takes the time to create drinks that make me feel welcomed. The atmosphere was peaceful - not too loud in any way. I would absolutely recommend this place“

“Had a hankering Sunday evening for an elite Lobstah Roll while in Newport, RI so I did a lil internet searching and Luke's was consistently at the top of the list. Checked out their menu online and saw they offered a Lobster Roll flight! SOLD! Off I went to find parking and get an order ASAP. Found Luke's on the corner on the Wharf and got to ordering with a quickness. Lobster Roll Sampler with three 2 oz half-rolls: lemon butter, spicy honey butter, and truffle butter w/ chips and a soft drink. Choice of Sea Salt or Sea Salt and Vinegar Kettle Chips, and choice of beverage. I got the Sea Salt and Vinegar (duh) and Blueberry Lemonade in a glass bottle. The lobster in their rolls comes cold, but for a $1 upcharge, you can get it warm, which is my preference. I also got an affordably priced Poppy Seed Slaw. Folks - these Lobster Rolls deserve top billing on "Best Of" lists. My fav might have been the truffle butter lobster roll. It adds something I never knew a lobster roll was missing, but they were all delectable. The roll makes the roll, though. Buttery sourdough with the perfect thin layer of crisp. All flavors were well-balanced and left me wanting more, even though it was plenty food to make a satisfying meal with maybe/maybe not room for dessert. I honestly didn't get any dessert nearby because I didn't want to lose the taste of what I just had! The Poppy Slaw was different, but in a good, not-too-different way. It was a little on the dryer side for my liking, but I liked it just the same. I am sorry to other local Lobster Roll vendors because I don't think I'll try anywhere new on my next visit. It'll be Luke's, no doubt. I might even make a special trip just for the rolls sooner rather than later, but that time I will try the chowder too!“

“If you can snag a reservation here, do it — but honestly, even if you can’t, they hold a few tables each night for walk-ins, and it’s so worth the wait. The Pink Door is one of those rare places that’s somehow both trendy and timeless. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated — chic, eclectic, and a little bit artsy — and when the live music starts, it’s pure magic. We were lucky enough to be seated in the back dining room overlooking the Ferris wheel and the Salish Sea, and the view alone could’ve made the night. But then came the food — and wow. From the appetizers to the pappardelle pasta and rabbit (plus alllll the bread), everything was beyond delicious. Huge shoutout to our server, Jeannie, who was amazing — warm, attentive, and clearly loves what she does. We left already planning our next visit. This place is beautiful, delicious, and full of charm. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Absolutely charming little spot serving fresh, perfectly seasoned dishes that are sure to please. Excellent and knowledgeable staff can make recommendations from the ever-changing menu based on your tastes, and it's easy to have almost any dish modified to be vegetarian or vegan. Perusing the tasting notes on the wine wall is a nice way to pass the time - great prices on the take-home bottles. If you're on a budget (and I usually am), grab a snack or two. Otherwise, try a little of everything!“

“My husband introduced me to Tai Tung shortly after we were married 60 years ago. My sons grew up eating there and much later my granddaughter did too. The food is exquisite, especially shrimp in crab sauce, the service is impeccable and the ambiance is kind of old fashioned and comfortable. In fact, Tai Tung is and always has been virtually the best restaurant in Seattle.“

“Stopped here for dinner. It was a first time for Chinese hot pot. We did a combo of 4 broths, seafood, beef sirloin, and assorted veggies. It a fun novelty with cooking your own food, but I didn’t think the beef quality was that great. I don’t think I’d go again because it was almost $200 for 2 people“

“First time here and it was such a great experience! Had a nice friendly chat with the owner 💕 The crawfish and seafood were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with that Cajun kick. The portions were generous, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere had a fun, lively vibe. Definitely coming back for more—highly recommend if you’re craving Cajun-style seafood!“
“A few of these reviews are very helpful! The one thing I was looking for that I didn't see was the trailer temp for loading. It looks like they want reefers set to -10. Doesn't seem like a big deal to have it pre-chilled as I'm sure it would have said so in my load information, but I would've liked to have mine already running at the correct temp before I arrived.“

“We were back in town for the marathon last weekend. My husband went to culinary school at the Art Institute of Seattle and we have been back to visit many times. I just wanted to leave a note here about the waiter we had Sunday evening. It was the best service we have had in a long time. Several other restaurants we went to included an 18-20% gratuity to the check, and service reflected that. Cutters doesn’t. Our waiter gave good wine recommendations, was attentive, patient with our kids, and even gave us a small portion of noodles to take home and finish with the sauce that came with the mussels. We tipped accordingly, and really did appriciate the service. It seems to be a lost art. Food was great! Kids loved the mocktails. 2 course meal was delicious. It was a great place for my husband to get his seafood fix. Thank you!“

“New Englander through and through got the Cajun fish basket and clam chowder. First time here went off what was recommended. Cajun fish fry was great snappy crust flaky fish, chowder well, more like soup but still flavorful. I am biased but still solid food for just arriving to Seattle living on 4hrs of sleep.“

“Hello,
I live in downtown Kirkland area, and I have always loved Ivar's Seafood Bar. Even though I don’t eat out often, your food has always been one of my favorite choices.
During my last visit, I noticed a small fly on the edge of my plate. When I brought it to the register, the staff member who was otherwise very kind and helpful touched the edge of my plate with their hand and removed it, saying it was “just a herb.” In that moment, I didn’t know how to react, so I returned to my table and continued eating.
However, afterward I felt uncomfortable and unsettled. Part of me even questioned myself, but at the same time I couldn’t ignore that my plate had been touched. It affected me more than I expected I felt uneasy, and it stayed with me.
What makes me most sad is that I now feel like I can’t come back to a place I truly love. I find myself hesitating, as if I might experience something similar again. I believe this was an unintentional mistake, and I do not want anyone to get in trouble. I have respect for your team and understand that people can make small mistakes.
I kindly ask please ensure that situations like this are handled with care, and that no one touches a customer’s plate.
Thank you for your understanding. I’m sure you will take this into consideration.
I truly hope something can be done so I can feel comfortable coming back again, because right now I find it difficult to return to a place I really love.
If needed, I would be willing to share details of my visit to help you review the situation.
Sincerely,“
