“I love teapot vegetarian house, I have known its closure would be inevitable due to the strip mall's conversion to apartments although I am still extremely sad to see it go. very extensive menu, large portions, lovely staff, delicious vegan food, and versions of hard-to-find-vegan authentic Chinese dishes I've been missing since becoming vegan. overall highly recommended you go before it closes, and get the mango "cheese"cake, it's hands down the best dessert they make and absolutely delicious, and 100% vegan!“

“We had such a wonderful first experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The hotpot was incredibly flavorful, and the soup bases were excellent. The sauce section was spotless and very well organized, and all of the food was incredibly fresh and beautifully plated. The vegetables and meats, in particular, were very fresh.

We visited on a weekday during lunch, so not every section of the restaurant was open. What really impressed me was that the staff was still taking the time to thoroughly clean the closed dining section where no guests were sitting. I actually saw employees cleaning and dusting the tops of the light fixtures in that unused area. That level of attention to detail, even in an area that wasn't currently being used, really says a lot about how seriously they take cleanliness. The amount of work they put into keeping the entire dining area clean is remarkable.

A special shout-out to our server, Audrey, who truly made our experience exceptional. Since it was our first time visiting, she took the time to explain how everything worked, recommended meals for us, and showed us how to order. She also helped us with how to properly cook the shrimp paste, which was especially helpful since we were trying it for the first time. She provided us with hand wipes, hair ties, glasses wipes, and aprons as well.

We also witnessed an example of how attentive the service is. The table next to us had been waiting quite a while for their meat entree. Audrey noticed the situation and immediately brought out their missing entree, along with some additional items on the house as an apology for the wait. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making things right for the guests.

The service here is impeccable, and Audrey deserves special recognition for going above and beyond. Combined with the flavorful hotpot, excellent soup bases, freshness of the food, beautiful presentation, and incredible attention to cleanliness, this restaurant made a fantastic first impression. We will definitely be coming back!“

“Location was great the regular clam chowder was great, the salmon was ok, not as what I thought it would be and the red base chowder was so bland and tasteless! Definitely stick with the regular clam chowder!

The fish and chips were pretty good as well! The Salmon salad was freaking delicious as well!

Steak grilled octopus fried squid clam chowder are all this 👍🏻 and the final dessert of caramelised bread pudding was amazing! The meal cost nearly $650 plus a $100 tip, so it was worth it, haha!😁😋😋I'll be back next time.“

It had a really good taste and is pretty authentic. The hot and sour soup was a perfect mix of sour and salty. The kungpao chicken is good too. Next week, I'll try the garlic chicken.

“This place is a must-try if you’re in King County. It’s family-owned, and you can tell — the food comes out with genuine care and quality that a lot of bigger chains just can’t match.

The portions are massive. We ordered Mongolian beef, General Tso’s chicken, kung pao chicken, chicken fried rice, and hot and sour soup — and every single dish came out piled high. The prices absolutely do not match how much food you get. Come hungry, and honestly, come prepared with containers because you’re taking food home no matter what.

Flavor-wise, everything was on point — the Mongolian beef and General Tso’s chicken were both perfectly balanced between savory and sweet, the kung pao chicken had great heat and crunch from the peanuts, and the fried rice was packed with flavor. The hot and sour soup deserves a special mention too — we devoured it before we even thought to snap a photo, that’s how good it was.

If you want authentic, generous, well-priced Chinese food from a family that clearly cares about what they’re putting out, this is the spot.“

“We have been lucky enough to have learned about Yea’s Wok soon after we moved to the area in 2007. We were told it was the best Chinese food in the entire Greater Seattle area, and it has been true—in fact, I’ve lived all across the US and I might be so bold as to say that it’s the best I’ve ever had. Every meal is consistently delicious and so well prepared. Everything is served steaming hot. Our personal favorites are the hot and sour soup—we’ve never had better anywhere—it is chock full of vegetables and the perfect balance of hot and sour. Also, as an entree, we love the House special ginger chicken. It is outstanding the chicken (all breast meat) is fork tender and the sauce is unbelievably delicious. But, really, you can’t go wrong. Avoid peak hours as you will be waiting. They also do a robust takeout service. Well worth the visit.“

We had to wait a little over 20 minutes which is not unusual for the day and time especially when the food is reported to be very good. We had the chicken tikka massala and the mutton as our main plates and also had the fried kale "fritters" (I forgot the name) which was very tasty. “Note that this place is inside the Marriott hotel. We had the Valentine's Day special. 3 course meal with wine pairing is what was advertised. Once seated at our reserved table, the server asked if they could get us a drink. I had to remind them that we had the special. A sparkling rosé was brought to the table. No explanation or info provided about the wine. Salad followed promptly. The main course came out with its wine pairing. Again no description of the food or wine was given. We were not asked how we would like our steaks cooked, luckily the chef knew what they were doing. Food was prepared perfectly with great flavors. Dessert was next. When I asked for the wine that was to be served with dessert, I was told that the wine pairing was only for the main course. I inquired as to why we were given the rosé with our salad since I didn't order it. The server checked with the manager and confirmed that it was only for the main course and the rosé was just a Valentine's Day “treat”. The server ended up bringing 2 more glasses of rosé on the house. Food was good enough for the price to go back. Dress up or down -“
