“We visit about every 3 months and are from out of town. This has been a definite stop every time we've come to this area. Same great place great atmosphere great staff... the servings are about 50% of what they used to be though. My fish and chips was more of an appetizer than it was a meal. My wife's shrimp Louie salad was exactly that shrimpy; I am full of spinach salad a handful of shrimp graced with a half an egg in one cherry tomato. The quality of the food is excellent as always, but if you're looking for a hearty meal it's definitely not what it used to be. Another victim of the pandemic and the economy!“

“Angry Crab Seafood Boil We wanted to have a somewhat nice meal for my son’s 18th birthday and I found this place from a local foodie on Instagram. We looked up the reviews and they all looked pretty good and the menu looked delicious. When we arrived, we were greeted very promptly by Karen, who introduced herself as the owner and welcomed us in. She had a very contagious smile and I could tell she genuinely was excited to host us in her restaurant. Angry Crab is a nationwide franchise. This is the only one located in Washington. Karen sat us down and asked us if we had any questions about anything and we didn’t and quickly our server, Bree came over and introduced herself and took our drink order. They were busy for a Tuesday night but we never felt neglected. I watched Karen walk around and talk to every single table to check in with them. While some people might not like that, I appreciate it because it makes me feel valued as a customer. We placed our order and my children got crab boils. They have never had one before. The food quickly arrived fresh and smelled absolutely amazing and what happened next is something my family will remember for the rest of our lives. My husband and I barely touched our food because we just sat there watching our children. What they said was it best meal they’ve ever had. My 13-year-old daughter told me that it was like Christmas morning while my son said it was so good it was like therapy. The constant comments of the food and the Yums and ohhh and ahhs was quite funny. My son and daughter rarely finish a meal and they finished the whole thing wishing that there was more. Karen came over to check on us at the end of the meal and we informed her of what the kids were saying, and the smile she gave was heartwarming. She said she would be sure to tell her cooks that the meal was good. She asked us for our names and welcomed us back to her restaurant. At one point some kids in the restaurant went up to the aquarium to look at the fresh crab and lobster. She saw this and went and grabbed a lobster out of the water and placed it on a tray for the kids to see. That is going above and beyond for your customers. On the way home, my 18-year-old son made the comment that my mouth smelled so good and we laughed pretty hard about that . “Tried the rock cod meal with fries, chowder, and drink. The chowder was how I remembered and the IBC root beer was nice. The rock cod was small, so I got a third piece from the cook. I don't know if they were tail pieces or not, but there was quite the strong fish taste. Just how I remember it.“

“First time to Frying Lemon Fish and we will be back! So delicious! We had potstickers and a green onion pancake to start and beef chow mein, General Tao's chicken, braised pork in brown sauce, and crispy fish fillets with sweet ginger sauce. Everthing was wonderful! Friendly staff and we loved the cute stainless steel cups. 5 stars!“

“We got a to go order. So I cannot tell about Service or Atmosphere. The taste was not good earlier and I stopped having it here even though it was very close to my place. But I heard chef has changed and now the taste is good. I tried again and I can confirm food is much better now. The menu range has also increased. One mistake I made was I went with extra hot and it was too hot for me. Better go for Hot. I tried Vijayawada Paneer Biryani, Paneer 65 Biryani and schezwan Biryani. All were good.“

“Absolutely LOVED IT!!!! I went with my partner for prom and the staff was so incredibly nice and they were very quick as well. The food was amazing, we got the garlic cheese appetizer (easily our favorite thing on the menu) ribs and the salmon, all got devoured!! HIGHLY recommend this place!!“

“As lovers of Indian food, my wife and I had been wanting to try this place for a while now. Well, we finally had the opportunity to try out this restaurant and boy were we glad we did. I ordered the coconut chicken curry and the wife ordered the mango chicken curry. We both shared a garlic naan. All the dishes were AMAZING. Portions were great and the service was quick and responsive. We both highly recommend Tasty Curry Restaurant.“

“I ordered the KungPao chicken lunch special with fried rice and hot and shoup. Aside from being super affordable, the taste was great too! The fried rice surprised me the most. It had a really good taste and is pretty authentic. The hot and sour soup was a perfect mix of sour and salty. The kungpao chicken is good too. Next week, I'll try the garlic chicken.

“I never thought i could love a peanut butter pie. It’s so good (and addicting). Fish tacos are our family takeout fave. The staff is always helpful, fast and kind. Oh! And the butcher burger is exceptional! It’s a burger from fresh ground steak, so flavorful.“

“We reserved a table online for their Cowboy Brunch for 4. The music was so loud that we could not even have a conversation. Two of us received our food cold. The waitress brought out two new plates, again cold! Needless to say we didn't eat them. The deposit was suppose to come.off the bill ($100.00), but we all paid individually, with the waitress saying she would refund the original deposit. A week later still not refunded and no one will return the call. Absolutely terrible experience!“

“Emory's on Silver Lake is a gem! I recently had their fish and chips, and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly crispy and flavorful. I also tried the pink rose cocktail, which was a delightful complement to the meal. The location is fantastic, right next to the water with plenty of parking. I especially enjoyed sitting outside by the fireplace, creating a cozy and scenic atmosphere. The servers were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Emory's for a great meal and a relaxing ambiance!“

“I am not usually one to write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience and defend the staff here.
My husband and I came in yesterday to watch the USA game. The servers were doing a great job handling what was clearly a busy environment. Unfortunately, I witnessed what appeared to be an owner publicly berating staff and abusing their authority. One server, in particular, went from being happy, friendly, and attentive to visibly upset after the interaction.
A short time later, a woman who we later learned was the General Manager arrived. The difference in leadership was immediately noticeable. She stepped in, brought calmness and professionalism to the situation, and helped redirect the focus back to the customers and staff. It was clear that the team responded positively to her approach, while the owner returned to socializing with friends.
I want to commend the female staff members and the General Manager for maintaining their professionalism under what appeared to be a very difficult and toxic management situation. They handled themselves with grace and continued providing excellent service despite the circumstances.
The staff deserve recognition for their hard work and resilience.“

I got a big dinner with wonton soup and had sweet and sour crispy pork and orange chicken also an eggroll with pork fried rice as well... for under 20 bucks and tasted amazing... so glad we stopped in lake Steven's on our way back to skagit county!“
