Restaurantji's Everett guide: Where to find the best Mexican flavors. Try the best Tacos, Chips and Salsa, Carne Asada, and more in town.
“The al pastor taco was seasoned really well, not too much so it wasn’t dry and chalky but enough to let you know it’s Al pastor with a balance that comes from the fresh pineapple. The asada was done to near perfection, seasoned well, tender yet crispy. For the tacos they are a win, I look forward to trying more next time!“
“I came for the first time last weekend and ordered chicken, cabeza, and tripas tacos. All were good, though the tripas could be simmered a bit longer before grilling. I'm glad I went there and look forward to visiting again for the chicken and cabeza tacos!“
“Best service!!!!! Look forward to seeing the servers every time I come in, have never been greeted with anything but a smile! Love the salsa bar, incredible and diverse selection of salsas. Best Mexican restaurant I’ve found in snohomish “
“The food is always so good when we go there it's a small restaurant with just a few tables but the lady who serves you is always the same she's so friendly so nice the food no matter what I've ordered I always order something different it's always so “
“Top notch street tacos! I usually judge a taqueria by the quality of their lengua tacos and this place passes with flying colors! Super soft, moist and flavorful lengua. Smoky, spicy sweet Al Pastor tacos. Salsa that hits right and crispy pickled veggies. This is going to be my spot for Taco fixing!I suggest eating in (outside on the bench) while they are fresh and hot!The melon drink is pretty bad though. That's my only complain. Wish they had horchata“
“Was craving authentic Mexican food and decided to try this truck based on the raving reviews. Hands down best food I’ve had in the state of Washington. Both my husband and I got carne asada tostadas and a side of rice. 12/10 recommend. We can’t wait to make this our new local pitstop on a lazy day!“
“Absolutely fantastic venue for a memorable night of Mexican delicacies and insane variety of Margaritas. Excellent service from their friendly staff. Large portions for the food and extremely reasonably priced. Highly recommend for any family or social event. Make sure to try 2 or more of their margaritas.Vegetarian options: Heaps of delicious vegetarian options available.“
“Unimprovable. Well established, family oriented Mexican restaurant. Excellent food and service. We make a point of stopping here regularly between Vancouver and Seattle. Very much better than any of the other Mexican restaurants we've tried.“
“The lady taking the orders was quiet but very nice. The food was absolutely amazing. They give large portion sizes and have so many options to choose from. I had the birria torta and it came with a very generous bowl of consomé. The birria in the torta and the consomé was amazing! The place itself could use a little sprucing up as some of the tables were wobbly and it looked a little run down but clean. It was overall really great!“
“Wanted to try a different Mexican place and went based on the reviews. We're pretty white/non spicy people but our whole family found things to eat, including the kid who had a basic grilled cheese. I had taco salad which was good, but I wished I had just gotten 1 taco as I can't eat much.“
“Food is always great. Margaritas are strong. What keeps us coming back is the service. Might sound corny, but I feel like I am being welcomed into their home when we are there. Everyone is happy and attentive and just offer great service! We always get the carne asada, chimichangas, or fajitas, along with a Cadillac margarita.“
“Great food! Can't wait to go back.Chicken was very flavorful. Recommend the mulitas and taco plates. Taco plate comes with a can of soda. Staff was friendly. Service is very fast.Parking is good. Inside is very small; possibly consider takeout. This area can be sketchy at night so be cautious.“
“We had chilaquiles, a huarache and super with side of rice and beans for breakfast. Everything very good, like at home ??Betty was our waitress, very nice and very good service. We will definitely return.P.S. Delicious coffee is refill ????“
“Nice, small shop with friendly staff and pretty good food. I am spoiled on great Mexican food, coming from Fresno County in California. Now living in the Puget Sound area, it's difficult to find that same great taste I grew up on. El Nopal delivers with well made food at a reasonable price. Give them a try if, like me, you continue to look for well made Mexican food. Now that we've "found" them, my wife and I plan to visit often!“
“If you are looking for a great Pozole, Tata's is the place for this great tasting Pozole. We are regulars since Tata's has open the food is great, the service is awesome n the restaurant is always clean n great atmosphere. The food has great flavor. Can't wait to try their breakfast. Enjoy....“

“Another food truck to rate, this one is in Everett parked on a shell gas station. I got asada and al pastor tacos and as you can see the portions were relatively large!. Which is good and cant complain, but because the rajn i had to take the food to go. Tables and seat were wet. Although on a nice day i would dine in. The food itself i would say is one of my favorites trucks. The meat was cooked perfectly and the pastor was nice and juicy. Again no pineapple im starting to think that's not a good thing here in Washington. Tortilla were made perfectly and loved when you take that bite and you got the meat falling from the tortilla. You know is good. I would definitely recommend this truck. Price was fair i paid about $14 for 4 tacos. They do have a card pos so no need to pull out any cash. Another day another truck for me. Thank you all for reading“
“This place is everything I have been looking for! I only got the mangonada and the elote But both of them were so perfectly done. I do think the Elote could have a little bit more salted butter, but other than that I cannot wait to come back!“
“Just had the most incredible dining experience at Luna Mexican Food! From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. The el pastor burrito was bursting with flavor, and every bite was a delight. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a delicious meal. Can't wait to come back for more! Highly recommend to all food lovers out there. Luna truly delivers a five-star experience! #LunaMexicanFood #DeliciousDining #FiveStarExperience“
“I'm a sucker for a good Mojito, and maybe I haven't been going to the right places, but I was delighted to see an entire menu section dedicated to them! Easily the best I've ever had. My partner was also very happy with the al pastor street tacos.“
“The staff was so friendly! We ordered eleven tacos, and the wait was about ten minutes. This tells me my food was cooked fresh, and not simply reheated. They offered salsa cups at no extra charge (we received a total of four, I am unsure if additional cups cost more). They noticed we had our dog with us, and they gave us a complimentary small side of unseasoned cooked asada for him! We didn't even ask.We got our tacos to go, but they did have an outdoor seating area. I cannot recall if the seating area was covered. There was a clear "no smoking" sign.Food was fantastic! They served the tacos with some cilantro, lightly grilled onions, and lime wedges.Incredible experience, food packaged well for a safe trip home (no spills!), definitely coming back.“
“The ceiling could use some repairs and they can liven it up a bit. Aside from that the food is good which is what really matters in the end. It's one of my boyfriend's favorite taco places.Parking: It's a small lot with a few shops so if it's busy you might not find parking. I've been there many times and only had trouble finding a spot once.“
“This is my favorite Mexican food restaurant in the area. It's always delicious and authentic. The staff are always friendly. Best Spanish rice I've ever had! The tortilla soup is amazing and full of flavor. Everything I've ordered has been fantastic! You should definitely give them a try.“
“My go-to spot for all things burritos and tacos! I absolutely love their carnitas super burrito, and everyone who works there is always such a joy to talk to. Would highly recommend, I go there a few times a week and I have never had a bad meal from them!“
“I visited in April 2023 & really enjoyed the carnitas gorditas. It seems to be very popular with the locals and, based on my selection, deservedly so. The owners and staff are very nice & I will definitely stop by next time I’m in the area.“
“Our favorite Mexican restaurant, and we’ve tried most all of them! We’ve been coming to this place for over a decade. It is the Mexican restaurant we measure other Mexican restaurants up against, and we usually say “should’ve went to Tampico’s”. The service is great family run business good size portions, great Mexican food!“
“Absolutely YES!!! This place is delicious and the owner is so nice!! I was visiting the area for work with a colleague and we tried this place after dinner. I had the coconut and walnut ice cream with fruit and sweet cream on top. It was amazing!! I wish I could go back and get more. My colleague had the coconut and pineapple ice cream and he also loved it. Highly recommend!“
“This establishment is really taking the care to enhance a typical Mexico experience. So many food options on every level. You have your taco shop, on the weekend Al pastor on the spit. Great salsas and deserts, all super typical Hispanic. Go over to the little Carniceria and grocery section, Again, on the weekends they have prepared carnitas, which were super delicious. You can also buy fresh hot tortillas. Beans and rice in the refrigerator section. The owner is always there stocking the shelves, suggesting some of their specials. Creating an authentic experience. Thanks guys! You make me feel a little less home sick for the beautiful state of Mexico.“
“Came in to check the food part. There weren’t any in plain sight. Tried again early on a weekend. A gentleman offered to help. I asked if they have food! He handed me a menu. I suppose you have to know or ask. Food is phenomenal! Fresh ingredients! Pricey but worth it. I was told menudo is great! I had the Mexican Corned Beef, it was great! Flan is good! Check them out! It was a hot day so I tried the Vanilla Ice Cream, it’s not creamy. It’s more of shave ice texture/consistency. So, if you’re looking for ice cream, the creamy kind, this isn’t it! If you want to just beat the heat, this will do!“
“The food is the bomb, as well as there Guacamole, I’ve never been there , until today, and boy I was missing out, I’ve found my place for musician food! Service was top notch as well as the customer service A+ I’ll defiantly be back! Thank - you again:)“
“Very authentic Mexican food. I love their quesadillas de chicharron. As well as their tacos al pastor. Another favorite is their chilaquiles which come with egg, asada meat , rice and beans. The portion is quiet big so we share it-its enough for three people. So yummy fresh and tasty. Every item we have tried we have liked. They also have a side for goodies like esquites(corn) chips with different toppings. Jell o and so much more. I would definitely say try their corn tamales they are soft and super delicious. All the staff is always kind and very attentive they bring the food to you and always check if you need anything.“
“I've been a customer for many years. The staff is great. They are amazing about accommodating my severe allergies. The food is awesome ?. The furniture has improved at least 200% since I first visited.Dietary restrictions: They are amazing about accommodating my severe allergies to wheat and dairy.“
“If you are looking for Mexican Seafood anywhere in this area go here.. the mussels were excellent not overcooked lots of flavor, huge and so yummy.. fish tacos were tender crispy and delicious sauce was amazing ..our waiter was friendly and attentive very welcoming.. The only place you can find Abalone in a cocktail anywhere in Washington. Love it..Maybe put more color in the signs emphasizing that it's a Seafood place will draw people in..“
“As a restaurant manager for several locations I'm always sceptical of pizza joints. Stopped by here on way home after passing it a hundred times. Got the meat lovers and potatoe skins and OMG what great experience. Highly recommend this location, you won't be disappointed.“
“Excellent food, friendly service, and clean dining room. The portions are very large, so the prices are great. The ingredients are fresh as well. Having spent a couple years in Tucson, it's nice to see a good Mexican restaurant that's not pretentious this far north.“
“The food was decent they forgot some of our tortillas and when I tried to order 2 cokes they told me they just keep refilling my one and then I sat there Waiting for a refill every time which was like 4. It was Okay but probably wouldn't be my first choice “
“The fried plantains changed my life for the better. They come with a beautiful sauce and have the slightest bite to them. We ordered chicken & cheese, poblano & cheese, loroco & cheese pupusas, all incredible. I am about to move out of state so PLEASE go for me!“
“Good tacos, great service, lively crowd. We were recommended this restaurant by our concierge and it was super close. Some said it was touristy but it seemed like we were the only tourists - mostly families. Al Pastor and Chorizo tacos were great and so was the queso and flan.“
“Delicious food. I was impressed by how big this place is. The menu is also huge. This felt like Mazatlan and Oaxaca partnered because of the seafood selection (that I'm planning on trying next time) and the Oaxacan traditional food. Tlayuda was very good, molotes were good, but it's hard to even find molotes in WA in the first place.Service was spot on. The lady who helped me was so sweet. The only thing that I didn't enjoy was the loud (laoouuuud) music. It was 11 a.m., and it felt like a bar environment and, well, not my vibe. Other than that, I love to find authentic places to eat ? give it a try!Parking: Free in front of the business“
“Can't speak for any other dish besides the tacos but... I used to get these every week after work and they were absolutely fantastic. Used to get twelve at a time. Been a couple years now and I still miss them. Authentic Mexican tacos that always tasted amazing. Once in a while the tortillas would be a bit older but it barely detracted from the tacos. Would recommend every time.“
“The food is excellent. Service is quick.Burritos came with a side of fries, and could be two meals. Or lunch and a snack later.Meticulously clean restaurant.Parking: Parking lot shared with other businesses.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options and meals specifically for kids. Even has a Street Fighter Arcade machine.Wheelchair accessibility: parking lot has a slight slope . Room for ramp vans.Ground floor, flat level entrance. Booths & tables available.Slightly older parking lot, in good repair. Mobility devices with small wheels may find it rough.“
“I always come to stock up on handmade corn tortillas. (Only the second place I've found north of Seattle that actually makes their own.) Then I decide to order food and I end up waiting forever for it! Pro tip: call ahead for your food order. It is worth the wait but why not save some time?“
“We came with a big group for my husband’s birthday dinner. They were extremely accommodating and patient, especially considering we had 3 young children running around. The owner, Evie, was incredibly sweet, attentive, helpful, and just all around a wonderful person. The food was delicious!!! The homemade tortilla chips were thick. The guacamole was perfect. Everyone loved their enormous entres (plenty of leftovers for tomorrow!). They even rang a giant bell and came singing, popping a birthday sombrero on his head, with sopapillas for a birthday dessert. Will definitely come back again! Thank you to all the amazing staff at The New Mexicans :)“
“We had the birria tacos here for the first time and not only was our pickup order ready quickly but this is the BEST food and service we've ever had!! We will be back again and again!!Kid-friendliness: The owner welcomed us at the door, and as I was leaving with my baby he brought us out a free drink! Best service, horchata, and birria I've had in my life!! Highly recommend you eat here!!!“
“So, this is THE Mexican restaurant to try while in Everett! Mazatlan is off the corner of Pacific and Rucker. There's free parking under the building on Grand Ave. I've eaten here three times now and tried a variety of dishes. I'm eating the enchiladas pollo grande today. I'm sure it will be great. I ate Pollo Rancheros yesterday. Probably the best I've eaten anywhere. Then chips and salsa are great too. The salsa is fresh daily and has a real smokey flavor.“
“Amazing tacos we are always willing to drive from out of town to get them! My wife is always asking for these you have to try the different meats as well the flank steak is great but that steak and potato...as well as the pork! Get there early on the weekend to make sure to try them before the other flavors are gone!Parking: Shared parking with coin-op laundry. Evenings can be challenging to find parking.“
