“Food was fantastic 10/10 would recommend!“

“There's NOTHING friendly about this place. I will not play the race card, HOWEVER, I did record a video. The server who served us left and the next shift bartender came. This guy did NOT acknowledge me until I asked for a napkin. The video is almost 6 minutes long and he so much did not say hello. The queso was so "watery" that it dripped on me and the bar. Appetizer plates were not even brought to us. No one checked on how the food was or drink. Poor service. Unfortunately, in this day and time this type of service is accepted and tolerated.“

“Delicious food! Amazing Costumer service, checked up on us offered me a blanket since it was cold very thoughtful! My husband got a steak, chicken and shrimp plate it was perfect! Meat was just right chicken was also NOT dry and they were not stingy with the shrimp! I got shrimp wrapped in bacon also was good!! Rice was made perfectly and beans were great! Will come again!! 100 recommend. Agua de horchata was also good which is rare!“

“Very good food. One of the best taco trucks I’ve been to. Very clean and organized. Staff were helpful and food arrived super fast. I liked the easy self service for different salsas, that was nice. Prices were very reasonable. Tables were also clean with large umbrellas to help with shade in a hot day.“

I forgot my wallet with cash & credit cards in it on the counter and I didn't catch her name, but one of the employees turned it in with everything in it. I am so grateful and so happy to know there are still good honest people out there!! May God bless her and the other employees there!!🥰“

“Drive thru experience is always quick and pleasant, I enjoy the folks who work there. Only docking 1 star because they don’t serve breakfast even though it’s on the menu when you drive up. That’s not the staff’s fault though, get it together, corporate! Oh well, still gonna get my 4th meal here #livemas“

“Finally found the best burrito in north Seattle! This truck knows how to build one with salty pinto beans, cheese, not too much rice, onions, and great meats. And they roll and grill the burrito perfectly. Did I mention it's huge? I do wish their red salsa was a little more interesting and spicy but it's not bad.“

“Always love a good visit to La carta. Another spot my family’s been coming to for years. As with most places in Seattle the prices go higher as the portions go lower, something I understand working at a restaurant but that doesn’t make it any less annoying paying $15 for chips and guac. That being said the foods so great when it comes out you forget about that and I’ll still always recommend it. Tip- best thing on the menu imo is served only at lunch (tamales salsa verde) so I’d recommend coming then.“

“Holy s*** I just ate up their quesadillas and they’re soooo good. the salsa is so good with it too. I’m so lucky I came on a friday so I got it cheaper but it is yummyyyyy. that salsa is great with the cheese and meat. Definitely recommend. They’re also very casual and give a chill atmosphere.“

“This one has always been less busy than the other locations but the quality is the same. Makes it easier to find a seat. Since 196th got turned into a stroad, getting in here is a bit awkward as you can only turn in coming westbound on 196th but there's plenty of u-turn places so not a problem.“

The Birria egg rolls you must try! the people are polite, welcoming, and all around just good people. There is seating in and outside the restaurant.

“I just recently started coming back to this restaurant. There was a change in menu and certain items which led me to stop eating here. Funny thing is the recent menu changes that they have made is what drew me back to this restaurant. Good food at a reasonable price! I do have favorites when it comes to this restaurant I love carne asada tacos, birria tacos, and sopas. Their sauces are delicious and the staff is friendly. “JULY 2026: Restoring to 4 stars because both during lunch and dinner I observed the Al Pastor is now freshly cut from the spit. 👍🏼

SEP 2025 (2-star): Big decline in Al pastor (their signature quality). I takeout here regularly during peak lunch time. Compared to their opening their al pastor quality has gone worse. It's no longer juicy, thin cut. It's drier and chunkier, pineapple cut has gone bad too. Attaching 2 photos for comparison so you see the before after (you can tell which one is which). I'm hoping they fix it up as I appreciate them opening in our neighborhood.“
