“Cole's Taven- How should I put this....it's LEGENDARY! Britana was Amazing, the service was fast, the sandwich was fresh, meaty and delicious- a great place to catch a game and have lunch, breakfast or dinner. I gat a great IPA, a lesson in Pull Tabs and had a terrific time Beating Cole at billiards! Ha- if you're on your way to the ferry, make sure to stop at Cole's! You won't be sorry! Did I mention the prices were really really reasonable! I'd give Cole's six stars!!!!“

I have had the dish elsewhere with better seasoning and the meat was a bit dry, hence a 4-star rating here. It was a lovely experience at a local restaurant so I would come back again!“

We had my 82 year old Mom with us for her bday and they sang, brought her ice cream and she got to wear a sombrero! Very accommodating with extra sides, chips and waters. Patient and friendly. “I have had some pretty dry, salty and greasy street tacos before so I pretty much swore off them. So many of my coworkers rave about this place, so finally I gave in and tried them out.
I must say, I am so glad that I did! They were the most flavorful, juicy, tender I have had! And there tamales...pack with meat! Unlike others I tried where you woukd have to search for the meat!
The street tacos were so good, that i had to try the lengua. Why did I do that?? The meat tender, flavorful and rich! Thinking that they are the same at other places, I tried another taco truck near my home town...🤮, tasted like tuff chewy liver. Learned my lesson!!

“I showed up here as they were closing (business was slow and they were wrapping up early) with a car full of hungry kids and adults. They reopened and let us enjoy our dinner. One of our kids has severe allergies and Mexican food is one of the things he can eat. We were so appreciative. Service was ultra friendly, staff was very kind, and the food was delicious! I highly recommend this place for not only the food but hospitality! Best customer service I’ve had in a long time. Salud!“

“This one has always been less busy than the other locations but the quality is the same. Makes it easier to find a seat. Since 196th got turned into a stroad, getting in here is a bit awkward as you can only turn in coming westbound on 196th but there's plenty of u-turn places so not a problem.“

Funny thing is the recent menu changes that they have made is what drew me back to this restaurant. Good food at a reasonable price!
