“Korea House definitely exceeded our expectations! We were craving Korean BBQ and needed a place that could accommodate our large group. You could tell this place is all about quality when it comes to their ingredients and their portions are generous and plentiful. There was a large array of traditional side dishes and they were replenished often. The Soon Doo-Boo (Tofu Soup) was absolutely delish and the cuts of BBQ meat were so fresh and tender. I can’t say enough about the attentive team and the phenomenal service at Korea House! There’s a warmth and sincerity in how the guests are treated that contributes to such a wonderful dining experience. Thankful for this gem of a place in Snohomish County!”

“Boy do these folks have it down when it comes to Texas BBQ. It’s clear their love for it from all the photos of the legends on the walls. I’ve been to numerous joints all over Texas, famous and not. Jeff’s can hold there own against the majority of them. We came for lunch on a Sunday (great smoke aroma in the air on arrival) and it was almost full of patrons and filling many to go orders. The staff was super friendly and accommodating when asked questions. The menu is full of the BBQ faves-Brisket, ribs, sausage, turkey. Meats by the half pound, sandwiches, and trays of varying sizes that include sides.

We chose two small trays today with the addition of a single original sausage link. Brisket tray with house made potato salad and a turkey tray with mac & cheese. The food was wonderful all the way around. And enough to have leftovers for the next day. The one small disappointment was that the brisket, while excellently smoked with a nice crisp bark and clear pink smoke ring, was a bit on the dry side. The original bbq sauce was a perfect addition to the brisket. The turkey breast was a revelation. Peppery seasoning on the outside complimented the moist breast meat. Something I don’t remember seeing before at a bbq spot was offered with the turkey, clarified butter. They would spoon some over the meat for you or supply it on the side which is what we did. It was delicious but we decided for us it was not needed. The meat stood out just on its own. If you are a smoked turkey fan do not miss.

As for the sides, I truly think the two we had could be combined with a dessert as a meal. The potato salad was outstanding. I looked at it and said right away, this is the way I’d make it. Mayo, a little mustard, and pickle. I can see buying a large continuity of this to serve a group. The mac & cheese was excellent, creamy cheesy, made with a bit of black pepper for added flavor. Again, this is just the way it’s served in my home. Loved it. And what’s a bbq meal without some dessert. The house made pecan pie looked delicious (next time!) but I chose the one thing I never miss a chance to try when available. Banana pudding. The one sold here is an excellent version. Good flavor, sweet banana junks within, and still crisp vanilla wafers on top.

I’ll be back for more of all the great food served here. Highly recommended.”

“Great atmosphere. Kids loved all the TV’S with sports playing and that they offered loaded fries!!! My youngest even got a burger. We had my 82 year old Mom with us for her bday and they sang, brought her ice cream and she got to wear a sombrero! Very accommodating with extra sides, chips and waters. Patient and friendly. We’ve already talked about going back!”

We are currently remodeling our home and couldn’t use our kitchen, and I was also dealing with some unexpected pain, so cooking wasn’t an option. We decided to go on a Sunday drive and stopped by MOD Pizza in Marysville by Hobby Lobby and I’m so glad we did.

The place was incredibly clean, welcoming, and full of positive energy. Owen helped us with our order and was nothing but kind, patient, and very service-oriented. His friendliness truly made an impact on our Sunday family gathering.

It was especially meaningful to see my kids experience genuine kindness in a random, everyday moment. Thank you to Owen and the MOD Pizza team for making our visit such a positive one. They even celebarted our youngest on her upcoming bday!”

“This is my go to coffee stand in Marysville. I will literally drive out of my way to get coffee here! Every single barista is friendly, responsive and good at what they do. They always have fun drink specials and very fair prices. Also the cutest little touches to make your drink and your experience special. During Halloween they had cute lil spooky gummies and adorable decorations that my kiddos and I both loved. The owner is my favorite. She’s so down to earth, kind, relatable and she remembers things about her customers which shows me that she really cares. She’s got an awesome stand and fantastic employees and she makes excellent coffee. You can’t find customer service or product quality or PEOPLE like that just anywhere these days which makes Reset espresso that much more special to me.”

Somewhere between Vancouver, BC and SeaTac Airport, on a road trip, I pulled into Starbucks at Tulalip (8830 36 Ave NE, Marysville, WA)—one of those stops that ends up being more than just coffee.

The welcome was warm, the energy easy, and the staff genuinely friendly—exactly what you hope for on a long drive. I ordered my go-to Punjabi-style chah along with a banana loaf, and when they offered to warm it up, I knew this stop was already winning. Simple comforts hit differently on the road.

They missed double-cupping my hot drink, but that one’s on me—I should’ve checked and asked since I’d paid for it. No harm done, no mood spoiled. The vibe stayed relaxed and welcoming.

This was the kind of place where you pause, reset, and enjoy the moment before getting back on the highway. Friendly faces, good service, and a cozy break when you need it most.
