You can tell they care about their quality and making drinks correctly. The customer service is just as good too. The baristas are always so kind, welcoming, and make the experience feel personal instead of rushed. Which says a lot because they are always busy, but the line moves fast.

The welcome was warm, the energy easy, and the staff genuinely friendly—exactly what you hope for on a long drive. I ordered my go-to Punjabi-style chah along with a banana loaf, and when they offered to warm it up, I knew this stop was already winning. Simple comforts hit differently on the road.

They missed double-cupping my hot drink, but that one’s on me—I should’ve checked and asked since I’d paid for it. No harm done, no mood spoiled. The vibe stayed relaxed and welcoming.

This was the kind of place where you pause, reset, and enjoy the moment before getting back on the highway. Friendly faces, good service, and a cozy break when you need it most.

“Me and my mom stopped here on our way from Vancouver to Seattle. As a visible minority (I wear a turban), I'm always conscious of how people down in the states behave towards me. The girls who worked here last Sunday June 21 evening shift were so awesome, they welcomed us loudly and wished us well on our way out too. It was so heartwarming. “Went here many many years ago for mother's Day with wife and kids and it was fun. Went with my mom couple weeks ago and it's still a fun space. We were seated without a reservation and didn't wait long for our tea (so many to choose) and our panini was hot and tasty as was the soup and the little lemon bar snack was a great finish. They are small husband\\wife team so be patient! Small kitchen making everything by hand takes a little longer. Lots of fun and interesting nicknacks and jewelry to purchase as well as loose leaf teas!“
