“My favorite coffee stand lately! I've been going on warmer days for an iced mocha, and it's been consistently the same, great beverage. Never watery, not too sweet (but still chocolate-y), and I can still taste the coffee. The staff are also super friendly! Dropping by midday always gives me the pep to get through the rest of it”

“Me and my Family tried this place for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back several times since- it is so good! The fried rice and pad Thai are amazing, awesome flavor and considerable portions. We ate in restaurant and had enough left over we were taking it home for another meal, and the owner came out and gave us extra fixings. We’re pretty well-versed in all things Asian food, this place hit the spot. The food was great and the service was fantastic.”

“My husband and I went in today to pick up food as I was craving their birria. I mistakenly ordered birria tacos instead of queso birria and realized the issue only as we received our to go bag. I asked if they could swap it and apologized for my mistake profusely. They were so sweet and even explained the difference between the two plates. They corrected my order super quickly and while we waited, they brought us a sample of an empanada they were considering adding to the menu and asked what we thought. The empanada was delicious and would easily be something we order in the future! They were so sweet and hospitable and I truly never have a bad experience here! The food is THE BEST!”

“Granite Falls has its on Subway at the corent of Jordan Rd West Stanley Street. Easy parking, Fine Service and the new Footlong sandwiches are exceptional. Cosme Sanchez did a great job making the sandwich in just a couple minutes .”

I’ve been to Katsu burger in Lynnwood before, many years ago… but I couldn’t remember how the food was to be honest. I must say, I have been pleasantly surprised. It certainly isn’t your typically “American burger”, but that’s not how you can judge this kind of fusion food. It’s in its own category.

I thought the burger was well made (beef katsu was perfectly fresh and crisy and veggies were fresh). The whole burger was a bit large and challenging to eat at first, and the flavors were a little challenging to discern. However, as you continued to eat, you were able pick on the different flavors. Fries were lack luster, and the 12 spice seasoning carried them. Wasabi coleslaw… can’t say I’ve eer had or even heard of such a thing. It was good and fresh, but nothing to write home about. I thought it could use more wasabi flavor, the brightness of the veggies overwhelmed the wasabi flavor.

Service was very pleasant. They’re understaffed, but that didn’t stop from good service.

Atmosphere is cozy and quaint. Little Japanese “cutsie” influence, and I enjoyed slowly eating my meal. Didn’t feel rushed or like I wanted to hurry up and eat to leave.

Overall, I would come back. There were several other burgers that piqued my interest.”

“Been going to Contos for over 20 years. last week was the first time I have ever been disappointed. Picked up dinner to take home and they changed their lettuce. Their salads were always fresh, crisp iceberg lettuce and last week had floppy romaine mixed in and it was super disappointing, ended up throwing half of the tossed salad out. Please go back to what you did for all these years, don't start changing things.”

“Ok folks, listen up! You need to RUN, not walk, to the most adorable little bake shop this side of the Mississippi. A neighbor recommended this place shortly after we moved to the area a couple years ago and I am forever indebted to her. These are seriously the best cookies that have ever graced my lips. Recently, my husband jokingly asked how much we’d spent at Jenny’s since we moved here. I may have to get rid of him…

I’ve even started taking a box of treats to TX each time I go back to visit family. If ever see a crazy lady boarding a plane with her husband, 4 kids and an enormous pink box of treats… that’s me. Really hoping Alaska Airlines doesn’t catch on and start confiscating the “contraband.”

But don’t just go for the cookies and treats. Go to see my new best friend! I’m not entirely sure she realizes we’re best friends but we absolutely are. She’s the smiling face I see each time I visit and she goes out of her way to make sure each visit is delightful!

Also, I hate to brag, but one time I got to meet THE Jenny of Jenny Cookies! EEK! It was like meeting Oprah! (I haven’t actually met Oprah but I’m pretty certain it was the same.)

So, take my advice! Go check out this adorable little bake shop with the sweetest family feel. You might even get to meet Jenny herself! But I assure you, even if you don’t, you will not be disappointed!”
