Not only is the crispy rice and tuna, pork belly bun, and ramen delicious but they are also life savers. My best friend started choking and one of the employees came and gave her the Heimlich maneuver. Thank you for helping her! I tried to tip the employee and he refused. Really thank you. I know everyone’s adrenaline through the roof!

Silverlake Ramen Kirkland offers a variety of ramen and appetizers in a chill, clean atmosphere with great music. The Blaze ramen (3-star spicy) provides a perfect 'flavor, not fire' kick, while the Shoyu, chicken ramen, and veggie ramen with clear broth are also available. The broth is very good, rich, and delicious. The chicken karaage is perfectly crispy and juicy, often called the best appetizer they make, and the Impossible bun and pork bun are great options. The thick pork belly is nice, and the vegetarian with miso based soup has very delicious tofu. However, the tuna appetizer is not recommended, and the churros can be overcooked and under seasoned, though the churro and vanilla ice cream combo is sometimes good. Service can vary; it is sometimes fast and nice with fantastic service, but at other times it takes a long time to get orders taken with little check-in. The veggie ramen with clear broth has been reported as too oily, with chewy broccoli stalk and tasteless button mushroom.
