“This is such a hidden gem. My best friend and I have been here a few times and the food is delicious. We've decided that next time we are going from front to back on the menu until we try everything... because all that we have ordered so far has been wonderful. The dragon roll, ahi tuna salad, and the pokemon roll have been favorites.“

“I live nearby and recently ordered two takeouts from the store. Both times I got their specials, one for chicken and one for Korean short ribs. I think for the price ($9.99) it was great value, you get a salad, an entry and a lot of rice. The chicken was two meals for me, the rib was one, but I was able to do fried rice myself using the leftover rice. Flavor wise I was happy about what I got, I'm Asian and this tastes as good as other teriyakis I got in the Seattle area. I'd like to try their Pad Thai next time.“

“Don't get me wrong, I like this place. I'm just writing this to warn people against getting the prawn ramen, because it costs $6 more than the original and you literally get 1 prawn lol. My friends laughed, but as a shrimp-enjoyer, I was sad. 🍤🥲“

“An Absolutely enjoyable experience. The owner/ chef is a very nice and friendly man with a very welcoming presence. The food was excellent, presented beautifully and arrived quickly. He even surprised us at the end of our meal with complimentary spicy tuna hand rolls. The food was great but his presence really puts it over the top.“

“Update Jan 2026*** I didn't know Teriyaki Bowl could get even better than it already is but now they offer the best crab rangoons and sweet and sour dipping sauce! I have tried so many dissapointing rangoons/sauces in WA but finally Teriyaki Bowl for the win! Thank you! Not sure if they are offered online but definitely in store.
OG Post - Delicious food, clean and cute environment, large portions, and very friendly service! We tried the fried gyozo, chicken teriyaki, and general tso chicken (pictured) and everything was amazing! The chicken was cooked perfectly for both and the sauces were delicious! The general tso was one of the best I have had in a long time. Saucy, crispy, no dry or chewy pieces, all just juicy yummy crispy chicken. I enjoyed all the added veggies too! The salad looked and tasted so fresh with a tasty dressing. I love that you can buy bottles of their homemade sauces. If you eat inside, the presentation of the food is really nice. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. We will definitely be coming back!“

“The food was delicious! I am a big fan of teriyaki restaurants and this is some of the best stuff I have had. The home made onion kimchi was so good and the service was amazing. I will be making this a staple restaurant when I’m not in the mood to cook.“

“My friends and I went to Shinya Shokudo today and has the best time ever! Crystal our server was absolutely amazing and was very sweet! We had a million questions and every single time she was willing to answer. Our food was always very on time and even when splitting up the check she dealt with our request with no issue! 10/10 would recommend!“

“want to recommend Kami Teriyaki in totem lake Kirkland because, for me, it is one of the best teriyaki places I have ever had in Washington, and honestly in my life.
I am a regular customer, and when I am not eating at the restaurant, I also order delivery. It is my favorite place for teriyaki.
I highly recommend it because it offers fresh and delicious food, very generous portions, fair prices, and very good service. The owners are very kind, and I only have positive things to say about this place.
It is my favorite teriyaki restaurant. Thank you, Kami Teriyaki.“

“Teriyaki Plus in Kirkland has good flavor and generous portions. The food tasted good overall, but a couple of things bothered me: the shrimp was not properly cleaned and still had the black vein, and the teriyaki sauce was used too heavily, which made the rice taste overly sweet, almost like candy.“

“I'm a very hard person to impress, so very rarely do I give a 5 star for any business The food here is very good and this is high quality teriyaki. Only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because I specifically asked for my food to be made a certain way and they forgot to do it like I requested. I was too hungry to ask for a do over. I understand they can get very busy so make sure you specify and speak clearly and make sure the person taking your order is listening to you and acknowledging what you order otherwise, they might make a mistake. As can be expected with any business. This is one of my go to choices for teriyaki in the neighborhood“

“I used to eat here when I worked in the area. It’s been years, yet I still missed the chirashi that they were kind enough to let me customize. Coming back, it feels the same except for their great new electronic payment system.
The hamachi is still some of the best I’ve had. They use plain scallops, a difficult thing to find at many sushi restaurants, and they offer ikura as an upgrade.
I’d rather drive here than settle for the typical rolls I’d find elsewhere. Still the best value for quality sushi that I’ve found anywhere in the USA.“

“I've been eating at Kami Teriyaki for years, and it's my go-to place for General Tao's Chicken and other dishes. So tasty!
Yes, like all restaurants their prices have skyrocketed and portion sizes aren't huge, but that's pretty normal everywhere now so I can't fault them for it. They solved the parking problem for pick-up, which is great (there are reserved spots for their restaurant).
Last I checked they switched sauces for their spicy chicken teriyaki and the new sauce isn't good, but all of their other food is great.“

“Cozy place to enjoy Teriyaki.
Good delicious teriyaki plus other menu items
Nice friendly service.
Higher prices than average, but we are in this gorgeous nice city of Bellevue, every thing here in every where is expensive. Nothing cheap. Nothing has reasonable price.
But here the Portions are good.
Convenient place
Near QFC.
Large parking lot.“

“Bistro is one of the best. Always friendly service, good size portions and extra sauce in take out containers. The salad is more of a coleslaw, and packed in, not a few leaves of iceberg and the dressing light and delicious. The teriyaki sauce is light and flavorful. I prefer a darker thicker style, but this is a solid alternate. And the garlic sauce? It’s what they’re known for! Addicting and it’s great in every bite whether salad, rice, or any teriyaki on the menu. Bring a bottle home and use on everything there too. Fountain Coke is a nice option and hits also. A must try in Issaquah“

“The best teriyaki I’ve ever eaten. The teriyaki at most other restaurants is too salty. The prices are very reasonable and we received excellent service. I didn’t rate the atmosphere more than 3 stars because it isn’t a fancy restaurant, but that wasn’t important to me. But it was very clean.“

“Really good spicy chicken! I got white meat and it was super tender and the sauce was delicious. Was also so impressed by the flavorful fried rice. The portions are huge, so I’ll easily get three meals out of this. My husband ate his whole meal, though, and he also loved it. The lady at the register is so sweet. We’ll be back for sure!“

“Teriyaki Bliss in the Autumn Sun
While walking home on a lovely fall afternoon, I stumbled upon a charming little teriyaki place that seemed to scream, “Eat outside while you still can!” Naturally, I obliged.
I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and wow! It was like a warm hug from a long-lost friend. The chicken, grilled to perfection, bathed in a sweet-savory sauce, had my taste buds doing the cha-cha. The rice was fluffy, and the veggies were fresh enough to make you think they just jumped off a farmer's market table—if I knew what that looked like, of course.
As I savored my meal, the sun beamed down, and I had to fend off some curious squirrels who clearly believed my bowl was their next treasure. I perfected my “I will not share” face—an impressive masterpiece, if I do say so myself.
Overall, this teriyaki spot is a must-visit for a delightful meal that pairs perfectly with the last sunny days of fall. Just make sure to bring your sense of humor and maybe a jacket for when the sun sets and the squirrels start plotting! ???️“

“Happy at the Bay Teriyaki in Duvall is a hidden gem and worth the travel. Easily one of my top three teriyaki restaurants in the Greater Seattle Area. High-quality ingredients, incredible taste. I get the chicken and beef combo (no salad all rice). The beef is steak, cooked perfectly.“

“Not only is the crispy rice and tuna, pork belly bun, and ramen delicious but they are also life savers. My best friend started choking and one of the employees came and gave her the Heimlich maneuver. Thank you for helping her! I tried to tip the employee and he refused. Really thank you. I know everyone’s adrenaline through the roof!“

“Very tasty. However, I was a little concerned about their health department rate. Very low. Which is concerning, dealing with seafood. Not sure what happened. My food tasted fresh and delicious 🤷🏽♀. I didn’t get sick or anything. Still running a place under okay rate is somewhat worrisome“

“This is a teppanyaki style restaurant where they make all the food on a hot grittle right in front of you! They put on a little show with fire, oil, food, and eggs as they cool! Delightful service and delicious food. Just be careful with portion sizes - there's a LOT of food.“

“We’ve eaten here quite a few times and keep coming back. The staff is always friendly, the service is great, and everyone is welcoming.
The fish is always fresh, and the portions are generous. I usually order the chirashi bowl or the sashimi bowl, and both have been excellent every time. The cooked dishes are good too. We’ve had the chicken teriyaki a few times and really enjoyed it. Also kid and family friendly.
There are a lot of Japanese restaurants around, but this is one of the places we trust when we want a good meal. Consistently fresh food, good portions, and genuinely kind people.“

“Today is my second visit. During my first visit, I didn’t know where to park, so I parked in a nearby church parking lot and had to pay for parking.
Thanks to the owner’s kind guidance, I learned that if you park in the parking garage, they give you a free 2-hour free parking ticket.
Today again, the fresh vegetables and warm teriyaki were delicious.“

“I don’t usually write reviews, as you can probably tell from my non-review status, but this Jumbo Chicken Teriyaki Box has completely changed the game for me. As someone who travels frequently for work and eats on the go, I was not only surprised but genuinely in awe of the simple yet incredible meal that was delivered to my less-than-glamorous hotel room in Seatle.
When I say "simple," I don’t mean it in a negative way—rather, it was simply perfect. The chicken, the salad—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I was so impressed that I feel compelled to tell others: Order from here now, and often!
It’s been two weeks since I left Seattle, and I’ve thought about this meal at least 35 times since returning home. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to get back to the West Coast so I can dine here again. For what it’s worth, I ordered from them both nights of my stay in Seattle. Highly recommend!“

“This is one of my go to places when I don't want to get food at work. I believe its a family owned business. My favorite is the regular teriyaki chicken. Food comes out freshly made, hot and the teriyaki sauce is the perfect balance of sweet. Usually do takeout as the lobby isn't the biggest but you can eat in. Very conveniently located by the Microsoft Studios. Way better than the chicken available on campus.“

“If I was not a teriyaki fan I would still come here because all of the food is not just excellent but perfect. The flavor is explosive, and the price is extremely reasonable. The service was on point, and I could not have asked for a better place to bring my family. For a premium meal, it was more than a pleasant experience. I'm not lying when I say this is the best teriyaki you can find in the greater Seattle area. I met the owner, and he was one of the nicest people I have met in the food industry. Thanks for the great meal!“
