The service was on point, and I could not have asked for a better place to bring my family. For a premium meal, it was more than a pleasant experience. “I live nearby and recently ordered two takeouts from the store. Both times I got their specials, one for chicken and one for Korean short ribs. I think for the price ($9.99) it was great value, you get a salad, an entry and a lot of rice. The chicken was two meals for me, the rib was one, but I was able to do fried rice myself using the leftover rice. Flavor wise I was happy about what I got, I'm Asian and this tastes as good as other teriyakis I got in the Seattle area. I'd like to try their Pad Thai next time.“

OG Post - Delicious food, clean and cute environment, large portions, and very friendly service! We tried the fried gyozo, chicken teriyaki, and general tso chicken (pictured) and everything was amazing! The chicken was cooked perfectly for both and the sauces were delicious! The general tso was one of the best I have had in a long time. Saucy, crispy, no dry or chewy pieces, all just juicy yummy crispy chicken. I enjoyed all the added veggies too! The salad looked and tasted so fresh with a tasty dressing. I love that you can buy bottles of their homemade sauces. If you eat inside, the presentation of the food is really nice. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. We will definitely be coming back!“

“Teriyaki Plus in Kirkland has good flavor and generous portions. The food tasted good overall, but a couple of things bothered me: the shrimp was not properly cleaned and still had the black vein, and the teriyaki sauce was used too heavily, which made the rice taste overly sweet, almost like candy.“

“I’m Japanese and usually spend half the year in the U.S. and the other half in Japan. This time, I have to stay in the U.S. for over a year, and I’ve honestly been feeling homesick almost every day. But after eating the tempura bowl here, my homesickness eased a little.

We often go out for sushi or try other Japanese restaurants. Sushi is usually okay, but when it comes to other Japanese food, the only place we’ve consistently liked is Kizuki Ramen—and even there, only the ramen and karaage stand out. Yes, like all restaurants their prices have skyrocketed and portion sizes aren't huge, but that's pretty normal everywhere now so I can't fault them for it. They solved the parking problem for pick-up, which is great (there are reserved spots for their restaurant).

Last I checked they switched sauces for their spicy chicken teriyaki and the new sauce isn't good, but all of their other food is great.“

The rice was fluffy, and the veggies were fresh enough to make you think they just jumped off a farmer's market table—if I knew what that looked like, of course.

As I savored my meal, the sun beamed down, and I had to fend off some curious squirrels who clearly believed my bowl was their next treasure. I perfected my “I will not share” face—an impressive masterpiece, if I do say so myself.

Chef Layton was hilarious, entertaining, and excellent at cooking Hibachi-style food.

Our Hibachi Chicken and Steak entrees were delicious. And their “Yummy Sauce” which you could use to dip ANYTHING — from the veggies to the chicken to the steak — was scrumptious.

“We had both the sushi lunch special and the lunch special. The sushi was awesome, really generous cuts of fish that had great flavor.

The rolls were really well presented but were not as tasty as the sushi. There wasn't a choice on the rolls and they just weren't to our taste I think.

The agedashi tofu appetizer was really well done and the edamame was perfect. We also really enjoyed the complimentary miso soup.

Very conveniently located by the Microsoft Studios. Way better than the chicken available on campus.“
