“I think this place has changed. Rating it 4/5 because in the past, I would agree that the chicken was rubbery and horrible. I've been here a few times recently just to try it again. Ordered the spicy chicken and it was great, nice char on the chicken and lots of it. I tried the spicy garlic chicken and it is unique, tons of onions, garlicy, a little sweet, a little spicy, not so teriyaki flavored, also good char on chicken“
“Good prices and good food. Ordering over phone for pickup is a bit problematic as both times have tried there seem to be confusion on part of the order taker. Have had chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, short ribs teriyaki and giozo. All very tasty and prices on par with simular places but the short ribs prices better than most. Serving sizes very good, usually get 2 meals out of each order. Definitely recommend.“
“I have been dying to come here and let me tell you the entire place does not disappoint!! The food was sooooooo tasty and look so good at the same time. The portion size is super generous. The inside of the this place is absolutely adorable. And the workers are super gentle. I had such a good time here. This is going to be on my " must come back " list“
“The sandwiches here are delicious. Love the way they are sealed up so you can easily take them on the go. I recommend going early in the day as they will sell out of a lot of the more popular ones by about mid day. You can also order ahead for larger orders which makes it perfect for groups or events!“
“I've been here twice now. I ordered the combo with spicy chicken teriyaki, noodles and egg rolls. The spicy chicken teriyaki was really good, the noodles also good. Complimentary soup was good. You can also get Complimentary Jasmine green tea ?. Good service, nice and clean bathroom. Overall great and it will be my new go to teriyaki place in Woodinville.“
“As always consistent high quality meat, clean, large portions, and EXCELLENT rating w/ Health Dept, friendly owner/family. I like this teriyaki place better than teriyaki place in Eastgate which is closer to me. Whenever I’m near by the area, I always stop by… ?“
“Not a frequent reviewer but I wanted to highlight this place. I came in knowing I was allergic to seafood (wife wanted sushi) and was a bit worried on what I could order. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating the owner was! He made sure there was no cross-contamination when making my order and was very kind the whole time. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and pork combo which was amazing. Would recommend if you're in the area!“
“We love this place so much. We started coming here since the end of 2021 when we moved to the area and the people always look forward to seeing us. When we got out of the hospital after our first was born the first thing we did was come here and they were so excited to meet our baby. We got take out the second time though because we had twins ? they are so welcoming and the food is so amazing everytime. We don't eat at any other teriyaki placeKid-friendliness: They love our children. They are so welcoming“
“It's a self-ordering kiosk at the counter so don't be surprised when you don't see anyone. The process is easy though and someone brings out your food. Good options for pork, chicken, or beef katsu burgers and items. Sea salt fries were just OK, even with two different dipping sauces. Maybe I'll try one of the other two varieties next time.Parking: It's in a strip mall, so there's parking nearby if none directly in front of the business.“
“Splurge and get the Japanese wagyu beef skewers - you'll think you died and went to heaven. They melt in your mouth, succulent, perfectly grilled, they're well worth $18. The cocktails are strong, tasty, interesting, service is great, the restaurant is impeccably clean.....Parking: As evening goes on, parking fills up....Kid-friendliness: Not really a place for kids“
“Wonderful little hole in the wall restaurant with very well made and inexpensive sushi, teriyaki etc. The service is fast and very professional.Vegetarian options: There are some tasty vegetarian options.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp“
“Sushi chef made polite conversation and the servers checked in on me often in a friendly polite manner. At first I hesitated to get the rice with my chirashi bowl. But so glad I did, it was just as delicious as all of the raw plump fishes. Sooo yummy and delicious.“
“The food is outstanding and the service is impeccable. The daily sheet often features surprises (and recently, probably the best sashimi treasure I’ve ever tried). And although I’m usually all about the fish, the veggie omakase really blew my mind.“
“I got the chicken katsu. It was crispy and the oil was really clean! They also gave me a ton of rice and salad. if you’re wondering from the picture, I got no dressing and turned the chicken over a little bit but otherwise that’s what you’ll get if you order here. I brought my own garlic sauce from teriyaki bistro in issaquah which may be tacky but it took the meal from a 10/10 to a 13/10 ?“
“Absolutely the best Bento lunch I’ve ever had! I got the lunch special number one Karage chicken: It was light crisply battered served with fresh lemon. There dusted rice, Mac salad (not too much mayonnaise with nice piece of blanched broccoli, a salmon, avocado roll, Edamame a fresh orange slice, wakame salad, pickled ginger and wasabi. Then for dessert was a yummy tamago patty- little tomato, too! Price was reasonable. I will definitely be coming back!“
“At first I was a bit skeptical, given it is a sushi restaurant in the middle of the suburbs. It is a nice and clean restaurant. I will say when dining in, the experience was better than any other sushi restaurants I have been to. Right when you are seated, they offered complimentary hot towels (to wipe your hands) and miso soups (that are amazingly good). We're big fans of seared salmon nigiri and it is a typically what we order when eating sushi, I can say that they were spot on! Good size pieces of quality fish. With the right amount of sauces. And the presentation was great! The food was pretty quick as well. Their service was friendly. Apart from their dine in experience, I have also ordered a bulgogi and California rolls to go. Still exceeded expectations, and was delicious! 10/10 would highly recommend!“
“The best sushi in Issaquah. Its always fresh and deelish and love the daily specials. Their signature rolls are creative and very tasty. The service is always friendly. Even though its in the 'Quah's sketchiest strip mall, the atmosphere and ambience make it a good place for dining in with friends, maybe to include some wine, sake or Japanese beer. This is my go-to for great sushi.“
“TL;DR: lines at opening. The curry is really good! Try the Kabocha Fries. On the spendy side, good date night spot.Parking: very small shared lot. Expect to street park during peak hours--you may have to walk a ways.Atmosphere: cozy diner feel with bar, bar tables, booths, dining tables. Not really accommodating for extra large parties.Service: pretty popular space so expect lines to form before opening. Wait to be seated, you will be watered, menu brought to you, check brought to you, box your own leftovers upon request.Menu: two descriptive pages with minimal images. There are different cuts of pork to choose from so read the descriptions carefully before choosing which one to go with your meal. Plates are a bit on the spendy side but it is very filling.Kid Friendliness: not very accommodating in terms of entertainment for little kids, high chairs available upon request, no kids menu.Kabocha Fries: it's pumpkin-like squash slices that are breaded, fried and seasoned. Very tasty!Katsu Curry Set: the meal set comes with shredded cabbage, miso soup, and a tiny dish of pickled veggies. Oh man the curry is really good. It's not spicy at all and the pickled veggies go really well with it! Who knew dark chocolate could add so much richness?! The cabbage that it comes with goes really well with the provided dressings on the table (I like the light brown sesame dressing best). Miso soup wasn't really anything to write home about but it is a nice palate cleanser along with the shredded cabbage.Kurobuta: tasty cut of pork that isn't chewy and is not dry at all! Excellent with the curry! Love the crunch and dipping it in curry.“
“Someone at work sent me a photo of their meal and I knew I had to try this place myself. I love their chicken katsu. Most places aren’t breaded well or get soggy. I typically don’t order it for that reason. They understand that katsu is supposed to be crunchy and they make sure it stays crunchy until you can sit down and eat it. I’m not a huge fan of katsu sauce but pairing it with their garlic sauce is so good. I have yet to try their spicy chicken, but I can’t eat spicy food like I used to. Rice portion is a little less than other places. They are super friendly and I’ve recommended this place to everyone at work.“
“Not gonna try to be a food critic here because if you know the greater Seattle area, you know we don’t have good, quality, authentic shabu. Service was fantastic, atmosphere was clean and understated, appetizers (karaage and tuna on crispy rice) were excellent. Both shabu and sukiyaki were authentic, high quality ingredients, and came with clear and abundant options.“
“Great solid place to go and eat. The service is always really good. Quality of food is wonderful. Close to home so when I need a quick meal that appeals to the whole fam, we go here. Never once been disappointed. Just wish they would go back to delivering to my home like they did back in the good 'ol days. (I don't like using Uber or the other service delivery outfits.) Cheers!!!!“
“We liked this place overall. The sushi was pretty good quality, we got 6 rolls. Our favorite was the spicy tuna and shrimp tempura. They did mess up and give us a vegetable roll instead of a California roll but they gave us the right roll for free. The place is a bit small and cramped but for the price and quality of sushi it is definitely worth it!“
“Talk about finding a hidden gem in a small town! We've gotten take out here often over the past couple of years, and have been pleasantly pleased with all the dishes we've tried so far. It's easily one of my family's favorites in our rotation of take out night! I'm thrilled to have actual good Sushi right here in town.Just know this: don't order too late, or just before closing. Our favorite items are: any of the fried rice options, any of the udon options, and any of the Sushi/Rolls/etc.On an off topic note, I find it funny how pretty much EVERY Asian cuisine establishment around here (greater Seattle and surrounding areas) has the word "TERIYAKI" in its name.“
“My gf and I love Shaburina. Its our go to spot for hot pot not only because the food is so good but because Terrance (the owner) is extremely hospitable and personable. We leave as very happy customers and are satisfied each time we visit. Solomun, our server was also extremely friendly and checked on us frequently. You can tell by the way he interacts with each table that he genuinely wants you to have a memorable dining experience. 5 stars.“
“A step ahead of most teriyaki places. The staff were very friendly and upbeat. Teriyaki and brisket were absolutely delicious and I'd say better than toshi's or bistro down the hill. The salad is actually a salad with all sorts of good stuff and and NOT a bunch of lettuce with ranch, I really appreciate that. All for 12$ too. I highly recommend this place.“
“A true five star place. Had the spicy miso ramen, so much flavor and such high quality for 20 bucks in an age when jack in the box costs 16, will definitely be back!Wheelchair accessibility: All one room with no steps and there is a bar where wheelchairs could be placed allowing you to sit alongside friends“
“Reasonably priced and deliciously fresh fish. The yuzu kosho on top elevates it to the next level. Wanted to eat in but it's a very small restaurant and it was pretty crowded. They gave me some extra condiments as an apology for not being able to seat me. Would definitely return!“
“Always a great site for drinks, food and very family friendly too for all ages until l000PM. Hawaiian/Polynesian decorations are beyond great and the food be it Hawaiian based or Sushi based with a really nice Sushi counter there too, is beyond awesome. Plus, I love the Karaoke Friday nights where it is nice to sing with children and or enjoy how talented many of our young ones are. I have not experienced family karaoke one night a week since Shakey's pizza in Burien used to do it 20 to 30 years ago. Trust me, if if you're single, or a fun, nice place to eat, excellent service, staff and good food, check it out.“
“Best teriyaki ever!! Great portions and they have the best tasting chicken teriyaki, short ribs, and salad. They also make a delicious yakisoba which is like a japanese stir fried noodle dish. If you like spicy, they can make any of the dishes spicy and so good. Service is always so friendly. Definitely come support this family owned business if you’re in the area.“
“Used to come here a lot years and years ago and it is just as good as I remembered. They are true to their slogan, they didn’t invent teriyaki but they have perfected it. My expectations for tofu teriyaki were low but Teriyaki Bistro did something incredible with it. My partner got the spicy garlic chicken and was equally impressed. Portions are generous, we made two meals of it, and they provide extra sauce without asking. Service was quick and friendly. Reasonably priced.“
“First time here. Got take out of the classic Chicken Teriyaki + Katsu combo and a side of gyoza. Everything was excellent. Portions were very generous, chicken was smokey, sweet, and juicy. Katsu was crispy and juicy. The katsu sauce had congealed a little but that's probably because I got takeout, but the flavor of it was still very good - not like your usual katsu sauce. Maybe it was a spin on their teriyaki sauce? It tasted different than what was on the chicken. Gyoza were good too, fried and crispy on the outside with decent amount of filling. The gyoza sauce was black-vinegar and soy (I think), which was more vinegar forward. Flavor of the sauce was very good, but it was a bit thin so you couldn't get much on the gyoza when dipping it. Side salad was iceberg and very fresh (crisp, zero old/wilted pieces), and the dressing was an interesting sweet mayo type dressing which I enjoyed. Food was ready and fresh in the quoted 10 minutes.Atmosphere seemed chill like a standard fast food place (tables looked clean, etc). I did find it funny that there were multiple signs in all directions for addon prices listing the surcharges for things like extra sauce or making it spicy, seemed like one sign would have been enough. The menu was surprisingly large (I missed a bunch of items that were listed at the bottom in smaller text), so take your time reading through it if you're curious.“
“Gave this place a try during my lunch break. The quality is great and considering how much teriyaki prices have inflated in the Seattle area (remember when a chicken teriyaki order cost $6?), the lunch special offer is a pretty good deal! The portions aren't too big nor too small for the price. Good quality food and service for the price.“
“We wanted to get some lunch and bento box sounded like a great idea. After searching around Bellevue and Redmond area, we decided to try here. Honestly, we were debating between Joy box and here, and tempura on this menu convinced us. We ordered two bento boxes: 1) spicy teriyaki chicken and tempura combo A; 2) spicy beef teriyaki and tempura combo A (vegetable and shrimp tempuras). The chicken was great, but the beef was not spicy at all. We loved the tempuras, so light, crispy and tasty! Highly recommend it. We came around 12:30pm on a Saturday and the place was not busy at all, only a couple of tables were occupied. We will order take out from here again for sure. Love their tempuras. Maybe next time, we will try their rolls.“
“Let me give y'all the latest update on I Love Teriyaki. I had the pork teriyaki, plain and simple and they executed, delivered, and served beyond my expectations. I literally stopped by here while getting my car serviced and now I will be bringing my partner, family and friends back here in the future. I Love Teriyaki made me realize how much I love teriyaki. The decor is OG and the service was quick and very polite. Much respect and much love for I Love Teriyaki <3(only 4 stars for atmosphere bc this place should have more people inside eating their delicious food fr)“
“I love Musashi's. Delicious food, decent serving sizes for the price (especially the onigiri), quick service, and complimentary tea at each table! I can always find a spot to sit. My one complaint is that the seating is not very comfortable.I've also ordered takeout from them using DoorDash and everything comes just as I ordered it and very quickly, too!“
“Best teriyaki on the Eastside. If you prefer a balance teriyaki flavor (not super sweet) this is a great spot. Savory sauce with the right level of sweetness. Always snagging the Spicy chicken 4 stars and then an order of Asparagus veggie teriyaki.“
“The chicken teriyaki is phenomenal here. I am very picky when it comes to teriyaki, since we have so many spots to choose from in the PNW, but this one might just be my all-time favorite. The chicken is grilled to perfection, with just the right amount of sauce. I usually get half spicy and half regular. The portions are huge, I usually eat half and save half for home, which will be another full meal at a later time. Great prices too.10/10 highly recommend !“
“We’ve coming here since Big fish open. It is a hidden gem. Very fresh sushi & reasonable price! I love some of the unique creative rolls like White tower, Lolipop. They also have kid friendly chopsticks, and my kid love the hand rolls.“
“Fantastic Teriyaki. Fast. Tasty. Well priced. Don't worry about the atmosphere, it ain't great but they are all business and the business is good. Get it to go and enjoy a great meal at home. Its the only one you'll need to eat that day.“
“The Chicken Katsu was the best I've ever had, and the generous portions left me fully satisfied. The spotless and quaint ambiance, coupled with terrific service, made for a delightful dining experience. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional quality of the food; both mine and my partner's dishes were next-level delicious.A special shoutout to the owner who went above and beyond! Despite my post-flight delirium leading to me leaving my bag behind, she not only found it but also shipped it to me for free. Such kindness is rare and greatly appreciated. I'm now a devoted fan and plan to visit Kami Teriyaki every time I'm in town. This place deserves all the business for its fantastic food and the wonderful people who run it. Grateful to have discovered this gem!“
“Run by the same Korean owner as the nearby Sushi J, Jae's Lunchbox presents a unique experience of 3 different Japanese casual dishes: inari (sushi rice in deep fried tofu pockets), onigiri (nori wrapped steamed rice usually with a filling), and sando (a sandwich differentiated by unusual fillings, using crustless Japanese milk bread). All were delicious while providing great value. One places and pays for the order in digital kiosks. There are two counters providing seating for 10 or so people, though most used them to wait for carryout order. We decided to eat-in after placing our order. There is self-serve hot tea and tap water available. We got our dishes delivered by the restaurant's namesake within 10 minutes, and everything was absolutely delicious. The star was the inari: the topping was the different pokes. The seafood for the poke was sweet; none of the sauces used were heavy enough to mask the freshness of the fish....and I really like how the prepared pokes are in clear refrigerated cabinets so a prospective customer can see the fish before they order it.Each dish comes with 3 choices for $8.49, and we ordered two sets: First was tuna, scallop, and salmon and the second was spicy seared salmon, crab salad, and plain seared salmon. Instead of steamed white rice as the filling, lettuce was used. Thus the combination of the salty sweet fried tofu pouches, mixed with the crunchiness and neutrality of the greens, along with the different pokes really made this in some ways a bit of an adventure in fine dining. I did wish for rice though, so the onigiri ($3.99) helped a lot to satiate that craving. The final item was the strawberry sandwich for $4.89 (which is a steal in my book)...it used fresh whipped cream with strawberries halves as the filling, surrounded by very soft and lightly sweet Japanese milk bread. It reminded me so much of a strawberry shortcake, except less sweet. I'm trying to imagine what this sandwich would taste like if the strawberries were in season. If this is the same grade of fish that is being used at the sister sushi restaurant, the sashimi here and there should be a stop for sushi lovers in Bellevue. All three of these would be available in a typical Japanese corner market (konbini)...if somebody is missing this quality, they need to come here stat.“
“Love this place! Can never get enough when I'm back in home town. The spicy chicken teriyaki is my favorite and the portions are really good sized. I live out of state now and I dream of this place almost every week since there's no good teriyaki near me“
“We decided to get a-la cart meats rather than all you can eat or the set menus so we could target what we liked, and it was definitely a good choice. Food was brought out quickly and service was attentive (giving recommendations, cleaning grill grates, etc). Definitely will be going back.It can get crowded later in the evening, so plan accordingly (reservation, etc).“
“BEST TERIYAKI in the area!!! My husband and i had been on the hunt for a good teriyaki place for over 1 year since moving to the Issaquah area. This location is a short drive away but totally worth it. The staff is also extreamly kind and attentive.I highly recommend their Chicken Teriyaki and Gyoza combo.**If you find my review helpful please click on the LIKE ? icon and follow my profile...thank you!**“
“Nasai Teriyaki is a tiny hole-in-the-wall spot in the Kirkland area on NE 85th Ave. It's conveniently located near Costco and the 405 freeway. There is parking in the front and there is indoor seating.I ordered the chicken teriyaki ($12.70) which came with a salad on the side. The chicken was tender although I could've used more sauce with the chicken. The portion size was pretty good and it was filling. The salad was standard and nothing special. This is a no-frills spot that has quick service and is an inexpensive meal.“
“Birthday hibachi never disappoints! Got lucky and had a table to ourself, VIP. The food was delicious, highly suggest the fried rice and shrimp/steak combo! The chief and entire staff were quite welcoming and made the experience fun. Be prepared to do a birthday dance followed by ice cream to finish the night!“
“I love Toshi's! Haven't had any bad meals here, but my favorite so far is the spicy katsu chicken (barely spicy tbh) and teriyaki chicken. You can mix and match most of the dishes for combo plates, just ask! I hear the pork yakiUdon is also ?“
“Nice casual japanese sushi spot! This place has unique tatami mat style seating and is decently spacious. We ordered the crazy horse roll, citrus salmon roll, factoria roll and vegetable tempura. All the rolls were pretty good and the sashimi was smooth. The crazy horse was packed with chunks of salmon, tuna, and hamachi which was nice. The batter on the tempura was decently light and flaky.Overall, this seems like a great non-traditional sushi spot for a large menu of options.“
“We got their lunch deal of chicken teriyaki with gyoza and rice with salad! With that, we also got a free bowl of chicken soup—super delicious and comforting. The employees there were super nice and helped us with any questions we had! The space was very simple and had lots of seating options. Will definitely come again!“
“My grandson's favorite place when we're hanging out. He always gets gyoza and miso soup. I get chicken teriyaki because it comes with a side of miso soup. Great combo and always food left for a snack. I really like the food, selection and service. Call ahead to go orders are quick and accurate. We also dine in occasionally.“
