“Probably the best teriyaki place within 10 miles of issaquah. Chicken is cooked correctly and so is the rice. Spicy and regular teriyaki is good. Their salad is a coleslaw style with a light asian mayonnaise type dressing and its a thicker type of dressing, it good. Price is not cheap but at least its good! Sushi is good and decently fresh. Staff is friendly and usually highschool employed kids and they do just fine. If you are craving teriyaki in issaquah close to Pinedale, this is your place...trust me.“

“A friend in Seattle recommended Big Fish Sushi, so we drove all the way from Vancouver to try it—and wow, it did not disappoint!
The sashimi was incredibly fresh. The tuna literally melted in my mouth, and the thick-cut salmon was so fresh and had an amazing texture. We also ordered the Seahawk Roll, Rainbow Roll, shrimp tempura, crab tempura, and pot stickers, and honestly, every single dish was delicious!
Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Definitely worth the drive from Vancouver! We’ll absolutely be coming back again. One of our new favorite sushi spots! 🍣❤“

“I live nearby and recently ordered two takeouts from the store. Both times I got their specials, one for chicken and one for Korean short ribs. I think for the price ($9.99) it was great value, you get a salad, an entry and a lot of rice. The chicken was two meals for me, the rib was one, but I was able to do fried rice myself using the leftover rice. Flavor wise I was happy about what I got, I'm Asian and this tastes as good as other teriyakis I got in the Seattle area. I'd like to try their Pad Thai next time.“

Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the ramen and sushi options here.

I've tried other places that specialize in making ramen. Sadly none of them really impressed me and would usually opt out for pho instead. But here, they got ramen RIGHT.

Hear me out, the black sesame squid ink ramen?? FIRE. The soup got that addictive nutty taste to it - this is my favorite ramen.

For seafood bowls, raw seafood and rice ratio is fair. Nice thick cuts of fish. Reasonable to the price.“

Had a chance to chat with the staff and you can tell how much they care for their customers experience. Food came out so quickly and the plates were big! Only reason for a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because I specifically asked for my food to be made a certain way and they forgot to do it like I requested. I was too hungry to ask for a do over. I understand they can get very busy so make sure you specify and speak clearly and make sure the person taking your order is listening to you and acknowledging what you order otherwise, they might make a mistake. “The food at Aji Sushi was pretty good overall. We ordered a dish with rice, meat, and a few other ingredients, and it was served in what looked like a cast-iron dish straight from the stove. It was extremely hot. The staff did warn us, which I appreciate, but the dish was still so hot that I accidentally touched it for a moment and slightly burned my hand.

I think serving this dish in a regular plate or a less extremely hot dish would be safer and more comfortable for customers. Other than that, the food was good and we enjoyed our meal.

One big plus, though, is that they bring complimentary miso soup and salad at the beginning of the meal. It was a nice touch and definitely something we appreciated!“

“I've been eating at Kami Teriyaki for years, and it's my go-to place for General Tao's Chicken and other dishes. So tasty!

Yes, like all restaurants their prices have skyrocketed and portion sizes aren't huge, but that's pretty normal everywhere now so I can't fault them for it. They solved the parking problem for pick-up, which is great (there are reserved spots for their restaurant).

Last I checked they switched sauces for their spicy chicken teriyaki and the new sauce isn't good, but all of their other food is great.“

The small details inside the restaurant gave me the impression that it is truly well-managed; for instance, they even kept the soy sauce and spoons covered with plastic wrap, likely to prevent contamination from dust.
You can see the kitchen from your table, which allows diners to see for themselves that the place is kept clean.

The atmosphere was even better because I could hear some of my favorite Japanese songs playing at just the right volume. The staff were also friendly.🙂

I ordered the shrimp tempura udon and the avocado roll. The udon broth was mild and clean-tasting, and the noodles were wonderfully chewy and delicious. The avocado roll was packed with perfectly ripe avocado, and the ingredients were incredibly fresh.👍

I had no choice but to completely empty the bowls and plates.🤗

I was having a meal before the mountain trekking. Thinking I might get hungry at the summit, I ordered an extra spicy pork roll to go. That was the best choice. Even though it was a cloudy day, enjoying this restaurant's sushi roll at the top was truly fantastic. Even when I reached the summit, the Roll was still in good condition. I recommend you give it a try. (Please take all trash home to help protect nature.)

The food were neat and delicious.

“Kind people, teriyaki is cooked decent all the time. Yakisoba is not boring, that is hard to find in a teriyaki restaurant. Salad dressing is creamy with good flavor and not water down.
