“If I was not a teriyaki fan I would still come here because all of the food is not just excellent but perfect. The flavor is explosive, and the price is extremely reasonable. The service was on point, and I could not have asked for a better place to bring my family. For a premium meal, it was more than a pleasant experience. I'm not lying when I say this is the best teriyaki you can find in the greater Seattle area. I met the owner, and he was one of the nicest people I have met in the food industry. “We’ve eaten here quite a few times and keep coming back. The staff is always friendly, the service is great, and everyone is welcoming.

The fish is always fresh, and the portions are generous. I usually order the chirashi bowl or the sashimi bowl, and both have been excellent every time. The cooked dishes are good too. We’ve had the chicken teriyaki a few times and really enjoyed it. Also kid and family friendly.

There are a lot of Japanese restaurants around, but this is one of the places we trust when we want a good meal. Consistently fresh food, good portions, and genuinely kind people.“

While walking home on a lovely fall afternoon, I stumbled upon a charming little teriyaki place that seemed to scream, “Eat outside while you still can!” Naturally, I obliged.

I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl, and wow! It was like a warm hug from a long-lost friend. The chicken, grilled to perfection, bathed in a sweet-savory sauce, had my taste buds doing the cha-cha. The rice was fluffy, and the veggies were fresh enough to make you think they just jumped off a farmer's market table—if I knew what that looked like, of course.

As I savored my meal, the sun beamed down, and I had to fend off some curious squirrels who clearly believed my bowl was their next treasure. I perfected my “I will not share” face—an impressive masterpiece, if I do say so myself.

Overall, this teriyaki spot is a must-visit for a delightful meal that pairs perfectly with the last sunny days of fall. Just make sure to bring your sense of humor and maybe a jacket for when the sun sets and the squirrels start plotting! ???️“

“First order: I was really excited. The portions felt on par with what I would expect for the cost, and most importantly, the meals seemed fresh. The flavors were really good and packaged well. As someone who hates leftovers, I really enjoyed my first order. I would have given 4/5 stars.

My second order this week, not so much. (Maybe I ordered the wrong things this week). The breakfast portions were small (I was still hungry afterward), and the quality didn’t feel the same as the week before. The scrambled eggs with asparagus turned the eggs slimy and brown—not the most appealing. Dinners during the second week were decent but included fillers, like what appeared to be canned green beans. More roasted broccoli would have felt better, in my opinion.

So it depends on the week, I guess. I already ordered for next week, so we’ll see. I’ll update my review if the quality improves. I would order again for convenience (I’m currently postpartum, so having premade meals is super helpful!), but for this price point, I would expect the quality to stay consistent or improve.“

OG Post - Delicious food, clean and cute environment, large portions, and very friendly service! We tried the fried gyozo, chicken teriyaki, and general tso chicken (pictured) and everything was amazing! The chicken was cooked perfectly for both and the sauces were delicious! The general tso was one of the best I have had in a long time. Saucy, crispy, no dry or chewy pieces, all just juicy yummy crispy chicken. I enjoyed all the added veggies too! The salad looked and tasted so fresh with a tasty dressing. I love that you can buy bottles of their homemade sauces. If you eat inside, the presentation of the food is really nice. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. We will definitely be coming back!“

The place inside is very clean and neat, the price is here were amazing, service was good, everything that we ordered was delicious, my favorite was the seared salmon Nigiri with miso mayo. “I used to eat here when I worked in the area. It’s been years, yet I still missed the chirashi that they were kind enough to let me customize. Coming back, it feels the same except for their great new electronic payment system.

The hamachi is still some of the best I’ve had. They use plain scallops, a difficult thing to find at many sushi restaurants, and they offer ikura as an upgrade.

I’d rather drive here than settle for the typical rolls I’d find elsewhere. Still the best value for quality sushi that I’ve found anywhere in the USA.“

“We love nori presto teriyaki. The portions for the teriyaki are huge. You definitely get your money’s worth. We also particularly love the fried rice that comes with the teriyaki, but recently the option to pick fried rice is gone from their website. Please fix this so I can have more delicious fried rice!“
