About Maki Stand - Roll & Bento

Maki Stand - Roll & Bento is a cozy little spot that offers a unique Korean-style take on traditional rice rolls. This Japanese restaurant is highly recommended as the best one in Seattle. The small details inside the restaurant give the impression that it is truly well-managed; for instance, they even keep the soy sauce and spoons covered with plastic wrap, likely to prevent contamination from dust. Diners can see the kitchen from their table, which allows them to see for themselves that the place is kept clean. The atmosphere is enhanced by some favorite Japanese songs playing at just the right volume, and the staff are friendly, respectful, attentive, and welcoming.

The food is absolutely outstanding. The shrimp tempura udon has a mild and clean-tasting broth with wonderfully chewy and delicious noodles. The avocado roll is packed with perfectly ripe avocado, and the ingredients are incredibly fresh. The Spicy Pork Roll and Pork Cutlet Roll are both delicious with well-balanced flavors and satisfying portion sizes. The unadon, philadelphia roll, spicy pork, and gyoza are all incredibly delicious. The kitsune udon is amazing, and the bento boxes are immaculate. Large portions are served, and the tonkatsu is good. The workers are awesome and amazing with their kind smiles and warm welcomes. This place is a must.
