Gotta say I was a little disappointed. Katsu is supposed to the the star of the show but it felt like a supporting role. The appetizers were the best part of our meal. The presentation is great though, the atmosphere is fun and warm and the service was excellent. Those are the reasons I didn’t give it 3 stars. Just wish the katsu was better.
3/5 first time, 4.5/5 second time = 3.75/5 First visit: not impressed. The Mechi Katsu was bland, nothing to say about the sides, and the sauce came out in watery clumps. Second visit: very satisfied! I splurged on their Tomato Cheese Ebi Katsu, which was an amazing combination of flavors and textures. Same with the Oroshi Katsu (and the sauce was fine this time).
