Eastside is pretty much desert for Japanese food. Wasn’t used to be this way. Kobuta is decent place to get tonkatsu.

I have to say, the food is just great. We've been a couple times now and the food is always just as great as the last time. It can be pricey, even for one person, especially if you get their signature dishes with meat, but it's worth every penny. The food is incredibly filling and delicious. I can always be sure I won't regret spending money here.

Still very good. Ordered the Kurobuta, more expensive but the meat was so tender and tasty.
