“Sumo Teriyaki is low-key dining that mainly focuses on take-out.
I've tried the chicken teriyaki, sumo fire teriyaki, and the beef bowl. All are flavorful, without being douced in sauce, and the ingredients taste fresh.“

“Stopped by with my family on the way home from a trip. There are almost no options for decent teriyaki where I live, and I am so thankful I decided to gamble on this place because they did not disappoint. The food was wonderful, and so was the woman that took our orders and served us. This place proves once again that Western WA has the best teriyaki in the US.“

“If you live in Renton or in northern Kent, this Teriyaki shop is amazing. The food is worth every penny, which isn't pricey at all. By the way, one of the only teriyaki shops that gives you a different kind of Salad dressing, and not the same thousand island type of dressing.“

“I first visited Ono Teriyaki in 1996 while working nearby for a while I got lunch there at least 3 days a week. It's always been good food and good customer service at a good price. It's no wonder that after 3 decades they are still there.“

“We ordered the Salmon Lovers and Singapore Mafia. I thought the rolls were really fresh and delicious, although I liked the Singapore Mafia more. We also ordered Calamari and had miso soup.
Unfortunately the miso soup and calamari were extremely salty. We couldn’t finish the miso soup.“

“I've been eating at Kami Teriyaki for years, and it's my go-to place for General Tao's Chicken and other dishes. So tasty!
Yes, like all restaurants their prices have skyrocketed and portion sizes aren't huge, but that's pretty normal everywhere now so I can't fault them for it. They solved the parking problem for pick-up, which is great (there are reserved spots for their restaurant).
Last I checked they switched sauces for their spicy chicken teriyaki and the new sauce isn't good, but all of their other food is great.“

“I'm not a great photographer and I won't be doing their delicious sushi justice.
However, pictured is the Lion King roll, Cali roll and takoyaki. I also enjoy the hot dream and tiger eye roll. Their ingredients are always fresh and the sushi is consistently good. For years I frequented Newcastle. Good to have the same rolls closer to Seattle.
The employees are also attentive and kind. The ambiance is nice and the environment is clean.“

“I know this isn't the main thing but idk what they're putting in the fried rice but it's SO good. I could legit live off their chicken fried rice. Everything else that I've had so far is pretty standard but great.
Good prices, huge portions, became my default teriyaki place even if it's a 30min drive for me.“

“Great sushi and flavors here. I love the variety and the fact that they don't have the exact same rolls that every other sushi place seems to have on their menu. Fun and creative names and truly different combos for their sushi rolls and I'm here for it!“

“I go here very often and every time the food is so great and so consistent. Always amazing. The Teryaki sauce is some of the best sauce I have ever had, so much so that I always order extra. The lady who runs it is so nice and always so pleasant and happy. Gets my order right every time. You must come here, you will not be disappointed.“

“Happy at the Bay Teriyaki is a hidden gem and easily one of my top three teriyaki spots in the Greater Seattle area. The ingredients are high quality and the flavor is outstanding. My go-to order is the chicken and beef combo (no salad, all rice). The beef is real steak and always cooked perfectly. 🔥🍚“

“First order: I was really excited. The portions felt on par with what I would expect for the cost, and most importantly, the meals seemed fresh. The flavors were really good and packaged well. As someone who hates leftovers, I really enjoyed my first order. I would have given 4/5 stars.
My second order this week, not so much. (Maybe I ordered the wrong things this week). The breakfast portions were small (I was still hungry afterward), and the quality didn’t feel the same as the week before. The scrambled eggs with asparagus turned the eggs slimy and brown—not the most appealing. Dinners during the second week were decent but included fillers, like what appeared to be canned green beans. More roasted broccoli would have felt better, in my opinion.
So it depends on the week, I guess. I already ordered for next week, so we’ll see. I’ll update my review if the quality improves. I would order again for convenience (I’m currently postpartum, so having premade meals is super helpful!), but for this price point, I would expect the quality to stay consistent or improve.“

“We love nori presto teriyaki. The portions for the teriyaki are huge. You definitely get your money’s worth. We also particularly love the fried rice that comes with the teriyaki, but recently the option to pick fried rice is gone from their website. Please fix this so I can have more delicious fried rice!“
