“We love Trapper's a bit pricey but well worth it. Only complaint I have is we ordered the teryiaki chicken tonight with some Sushi rolls. The teryiaki chicken was very bland had not taste to it. 🤔😒“

“We catered food from Yamada Teriyaki and were blown away. The samosas were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the House Special Fried Rice was a total hit, generously loaded with tender meat, shrimp, and vegetables, all seasoned to perfection.
Everything arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully packed. The portions were generous, and the quality was outstanding. The service was smooth, friendly, and reliable. For the price and portion sizes, the catering option is absolutely worth it.
One thing I also really like is that Mandalay Deli Mart is right next door, so it is super convenient to grab drinks, snacks, Burmese goodies, or quick deli items all in one stop.
Highly recommend Yamada Teriyaki for catering, authentic flavors, great presentation, and excellent value. We will definitely be back for more.“

“Friendly service, food is great, plenty of selections; Korean, Chinese, and Japanese foods in one place. I had the spider roll and the Mongolian Beef. I didn’t order the combos on purpose but who knew the Japanese food and Chinese food complimented each other very well. Talking about a great service, my wife order the sesame balls for a dessert. 2 of 5 were a bit under cooked somehow. We broke them a part but didn’t eat them. One other staffs walked by and asked if we didn’t like. My wife told her those 2 seemed like they are not full cooked so we didn’t want to eat them but we are okayed. She then insisted that she asked the chef to make a fresh batch of 5 for us. This time they were perfectly cooked. I was impressed with her and felt very appreciative. I recommend this place if you like delicious food and something quick.“

“I have been eating here regularly for over 3 years, this is my favorite place to get lunch in Kent! The food is always fresh and healthy, the menu has lots of great options, and the portions are more generous than in other similar restaurants. The staff is always friendly and polite, and the service is very quick.“

“Such a hidden gem in Seattle! This place has the perfect late-night izakaya vibe — cozy, lively, and casual without feeling too loud or overwhelming.
The food is especially good for sharing. Everything comes out hot and flavorful, and there’s a great variety of Japanese-style dishes and late-night comfort food. It’s the kind of place where you order a bunch of different things for the table, grab a drink, and somehow end up staying much longer than you planned.
What I really like is the atmosphere. It feels warm and intimate, almost like a little neighborhood spot you’d stumble into late at night in Japan. The staff are friendly and the whole place feels relaxed and welcoming.
Seattle honestly needs more places like this, especially since so many restaurants close early. Definitely one of my favorite spots for late-night food, drinks, and hanging out with friends.“

“Food was good. Service was good, but their QR code ordering system was really bad. We couldn't order individually in the app, and had to submit one order as a table. We had to seperate all our orders afterwards with the waitress, and ended up just splitting the bill down the middle.“

“10/10. This is THE teriyaki spot. There’s always conversation on what’s the best teriyaki place in town and this is it!! The portions are huge and decently priced. If you want to support a small business with amazing food and workers, come to Four Corners Teriyaki! I have lived here my whole life and I wish I would have discovered this place sooner.“

“Sumo Teriyaki is low-key dining that mainly focuses on take-out.
I've tried the chicken teriyaki, sumo fire teriyaki, and the beef bowl. All are flavorful, without being douced in sauce, and the ingredients taste fresh.“

“So yummy! I was excited to see this place here in the Seattle area. I had only been to the one in Honolulu before and it was so good! The noodles are thick and the flavors are amazing. The tempura is fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend.“

“Came in for the first time after the gym next door, and wow! The teriyaki bowl is amazing! It's even got broccoli and cabbage, no one does that with their teriyaki bowls! And it's a great portion! Excellent flavor and char, I'm coming back!“

“If you like spicy, textured sushi rolls, you definitely have to order The H3 Roll ($19.99) at Appa Sushi & Bento Teriyaki!
Inside, it’s packed with spicy tuna, spicy salmon, spicy yellowtail, and crunchy cucumber, then topped with creamy avocado, spicy mayo, and eel sauce. What makes this roll stand out is the four different types of tobiko (flying fish roe) on top. They add a salty, satisfying pop of texture that brings the whole roll together.
The fun part is that each tobiko color actually brings a unique, subtle flavor profile:
Red: Beet
Yellow: Yuzu/Citrus
Green: Wasabi
Black: Squid Ink
Don't let the exotic details intimidate you—the flavors are balanced and complement the roll perfectly. It's super filling, gorgeous to look at, and worth every penny. Highly recommend giving this a try if you enjoy fresh fish with a bit of a kick!“

“Truly excellent teriyaki.
Had friends in town who can’t eat gluten, and they wanted whatever I considered Seattles signature dish so I had to find them teriyaki. Called Himitsu and they kindly explained my options (all the teriyaki is gluten free, the fried rice CAN be if you specifically order it gluten free). When I picked up the food they were kind and friendly with a big smile.
The food itself was fantastic. Fried rice was excellent, and the teriyaki is of the less saucy variety. While the chicken didn’t have a lot of sauce it was well marinated and seasoned so it was very juicy and flavorful. Our favorite was the beef. It was thin, tender, and no unpleasant gristle to be found.
Our friends loved it and we now have an option we’d happily recommend to anyone, whether they can have gluten or not!“

“I really liked this place. It has a cozy feel, and the food makes it obvious why people keep coming back. It feels a little more like an actual night out and a little less like you panic-ordered sushi from a strip mall because everyone was too tired to decide. Go when you want something nice without it becoming a whole event.“

“Stopped by with my family on the way home from a trip. There are almost no options for decent teriyaki where I live, and I am so thankful I decided to gamble on this place because they did not disappoint. The food was wonderful, and so was the woman that took our orders and served us. This place proves once again that Western WA has the best teriyaki in the US.“

“Everyone loves their karaage chicken...huge servings! They also have the best Tom Kha...the flavor is spot on! Pad See Ew, drunken noodles, etc are all wonderful. Portions are large & prices are reasonable. But, biggest reason I keep returning is their terrific staff...just the nicest people!“

“We were craving teriyaki and have been slowly trying out all the ones in the area. We're very happy having had Buck's, the plan was clean , service is friendly and quick with no overly loud music(TV on but a nice low volume). The portions are great and the food itself beautifully seasoned, tender and moist with nice cuts(no cheap grisly bits in our meal). We got the spicy chicken and pork they were so good and the salad simple but so nicely chopped(love me some consistent texture) and went nicely with the meal. We're done trying out other spots this is the one. Now only if they offered catering cause I would absolutely getting catering for parties.“

“I've been eating at Kami Teriyaki for years, and it's my go-to place for General Tao's Chicken and other dishes. So tasty!
Yes, like all restaurants their prices have skyrocketed and portion sizes aren't huge, but that's pretty normal everywhere now so I can't fault them for it. They solved the parking problem for pick-up, which is great (there are reserved spots for their restaurant).
Last I checked they switched sauces for their spicy chicken teriyaki and the new sauce isn't good, but all of their other food is great.“

“If you live in Renton or in northern Kent, this Teriyaki shop is amazing. The food is worth every penny, which isn't pricey at all. By the way, one of the only teriyaki shops that gives you a different kind of Salad dressing, and not the same thousand island type of dressing.“

“Shiva provided the best service I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. Michael came in to relieve him and made sure we were fully satiated with our meals. “Anyone rating this place less than 5 stars has some serious mental condition. I’ve eaten here hundreds of times. I used to work next door and I’d eat here almost every day. THE BEST teriyaki you will ever find. I moved out of state and this place is one of the things I miss most about Washington.“

“Been going here for years. Always consistently good for chicken teriyaki or yakisoba. Eggs rolls are good too. Nice side salad. Always fresh. Never left a review for them in the 10 plus years I've eaten there and I always go back. Figured I should. A go to spot for an easy meal.“

“Third time customer and IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE! I recommend upgrading the white rice to fried rice. It's the best fried rice I've had in decades! The staff and owners are authentic chefs, and provide a family environment with professional customer service. I've tried the Szechuan Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, General Tso's Chicken--each time with as a C-17 Chicken Teriyaki Wok Combo that comes with Teriyaki Chicken and a large line of choices as your second part of the combo. All of these items were amazing. Plus even the egg rolls were homemade tasting and crispy outside but not much on the inside The portions and amount of ingredients are large and varied, and DO NOT COMPARE to local competitors. Finally, The wonton soup is definitely the best I've ever ever ever ever ever had! There are so many vegetables, scrumptious broth, and the wontons in it seemed like they're made with love and homemade! I can't wait to try everything on the menu! I wish I could go there all the time. Even they're little side salad that comes with the meal has more ingredients and fresh ingredients. The salad seems hand cut--not prepackaged.. If you want a bang for your buck for delicious, mouth watering, large portion food with quality ingredients this will be as big of treasure to you as it is to me! Anybody needing an awesome place to go to lunch or get takeout on the way home, or bring your family in to their clean and pleasant facility, I exceedingly recommend this special gem! I'm a customer for life!“

“Truly amazing teriyaki and katsu, if a bit expensive. But you can taste the quality. The katsu was well breaded and perfectly fried. The teriyaki had a great char and was dressed in a thin soy sauce heavy sauce, not coated like most Seattle teriyaki. The salad was excellent as well with a sesame dressing. Very traditional Puyallup style! I loved it!“

“My family has loved the takeout from Oshio 2 for years, both the teriyaki and the burgers! The other night I was dog-sitting in the area and ordered the Western Burger with fries (I highly recommend the fries here, they are delightfully crispy.) As this town continues growing up and corporate franchises move in, consider supporting a Black Diamond OG local favorite 🍱🍔🥤“

“The 2 owners are so kind, and the food has never once disappointed. It’s honestly the best teriyaki spot I’ve had in Washington and I’ve tried many. They make it with love! Great portions, the teriyaki has such a good unique flavor and it’s always fresh and excellent. I read through some of these negative reviews and honestly feel as if these people just don’t know what good food is“

“I know this isn't the main thing but idk what they're putting in the fried rice but it's SO good. I could legit live off their chicken fried rice. Everything else that I've had so far is pretty standard but great.
Good prices, huge portions, became my default teriyaki place even if it's a 30min drive for me.“

“Something special for a particular fan... I enjoy Mongolian beef, but only when fixed extremely spicy. I like this little shop's standard Teriyaki and come regularly; and decided to challenge them to see if they could meet my Spicy requirements. “This is our go to spot for teriyaki in Auburn. The staff are so kind and efficient, their cook is super consistent, and their portions kick ass!! My wife always gets tofu+vegetable yakisoba and has never had a problem with cross contamination (not something we can always say about every place, she has some dietary/food restrictions equating to vegan). We love this place :)“
