The omakase experience is where Sushi Kuma really shines. Not only is the price amazing for what you get, but the sheer abundance and variety make it feel like a full culinary journey. I’m used to the traditional omakase style where you’re served piece by piece, but here it felt so much more thoughtful and generous. There were starters, appetizers, beautifully prepared sashimi, a wide selection of nigiri and sushi, incredible entrées, and even dessert to finish things off. “I tried Okasan Teriyaki with a friend. I had the Spicy Teriyaki, and it was pleasantly spicy without being too hot.

The salad was good, and the dressing was a little different from other Teriyaki spots I've been to, but good. The portion size was decent, and the rice was excellent.

My friend had Chicken Teriyaki, and he said it was excellent. If I was in the area and wanted Teriyaki, I would consider coming back.“

“My mom and I started coming here about two years ago and ever since it’s been a favorite spot of ours to get sushi! Now it’s a place my husband and I come all the time. The chicken katsu is so good it’s his favorite and the cream cheese wontons are TO DIE FOR❤️ this place is a great option if you want good sushi but don’t want to pay and arm and a leg at trappers!

I didn’t order the combos on purpose but who knew the Japanese food and Chinese food complimented each other very well. Talking about a great service, my wife order the sesame balls for a dessert. 2 of 5 were a bit under cooked somehow. We broke them a part but didn’t eat them. One other staffs walked by and asked if we didn’t like. My wife told her those 2 seemed like they are not full cooked so we didn’t want to eat them but we are okayed. She then insisted that she asked the chef to make a fresh batch of 5 for us. This time they were perfectly cooked. I was impressed with her and felt very appreciative. I recommend this place if you like delicious food and something quick.“

“Interior of Aji Koharu is calming and shelters customers from the rush of traffic on Hwy 99. The food was excellent: well prepared, presentation of various items enhanced the meal, the flavor and texture of the variety of sashimi was each distinct and appreciated. The portions are generous and thank goodness fulfilling of the appetite of our adolescent boys. The adults were also pleased by the generous portions which some of them shared with the young men. Happy diners all around. Some suggestions: music can be less intrusive and unavailable menu items need to be communicated to customers before they look at the menu to make their selection. This can spare disappointment of customer and avoid lost/waste of time for wait staff and customer. We'll share our delight with Aji Koharu with our friend groups and we have made plans to return for more if the excellent dishes at Aji Koharu.“

“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart, tables are cleaned immediately. The decor of this restaurant is pretty cool and unusual. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nami Sushi!“

The shrimp tempura was crisp and crunchy on the outside and so tender on the inside. But let me tell you about the wonton soup!!! 10/10, five stars, highly recommended. The broth is glistening with flavor, the wontons are perfectly soft and the veggies are bright and not overcooked. So happy I stopped here, this wonton soup healed me. “Super calm and quiet little hole in the wall teriyaki joint. I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and the little tucked away places like these are always the best! And I was not disappointed! The fried rice was some of the best I've ever had, Tempura shrimp and gyoza seemed very fresh and super flavorful and crispy. I got the Mongolian Beef as my main dish and while it seemed like it was missing something, maybe it wasn't as saucy as I'm used to at other places, but who knows this could be the traditional way to make it so I won't jump to conclusions. It was still very delicious though!

The only little downside is that I wish the meal portion sizes were a little larger. But other than that, service was very kind, it seems like this lovely older man and woman running the shop all by themselves. I had walked in to tonight get a to-go order tonight and was probably waiting a little less than or around 10 minutes, this was a Saturday night too. “Third time customer and IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE! I recommend upgrading the white rice to fried rice. It's the best fried rice I've had in decades! The staff and owners are authentic chefs, and provide a family environment with professional customer service. I've tried the Szechuan Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, General Tso's Chicken--each time with as a C-17 Chicken Teriyaki Wok Combo that comes with Teriyaki Chicken and a large line of choices as your second part of the combo. All of these items were amazing. Plus even the egg rolls were homemade tasting and crispy outside but not much on the inside The portions and amount of ingredients are large and varied, and DO NOT COMPARE to local competitors. Finally, The wonton soup is definitely the best I've ever ever ever ever ever had! There are so many vegetables, scrumptious broth, and the wontons in it seemed like they're made with love and homemade! I can't wait to try everything on the menu! I wish I could go there all the time. Even they're little side salad that comes with the meal has more ingredients and fresh ingredients. The salad seems hand cut--not prepackaged.. “Walking into Modoo 3 Teriyaki, the first thing that hits you is how clean, neat, and organized the restaurant feels. It sets the tone immediately. You know you’re in a place that takes pride in both presentation and hospitality.

The customer service is outstanding. Staff are friendly, quick, and genuinely welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel easy and comfortable.

What really surprised me is the huge menu. This isn’t just a teriyaki spot. They offer everything from Thai dishes to Japanese sushi, Chinese favorites, classic teriyaki plates, and even bubble tea. It’s the kind of menu where everyone can find something they love.

“I used to come here almost every day when I worked across the river bridge in Fife, I would come when they had the two old guys back in the mid 2010's and their sushi is the greatest sushi in the world. I am accustomed to getting kimchi served hot with rice, what i got was cold in a to-go container (it was to-go) , no rice. If offered I would have ordered some white rice. The furniture, booths, appeared to be second hand and repaired with colored duct tape. Alot of there inventory was stored in view. And, the luovered doors leading to the restrooms where blinds and hung backwards to each other. It was clean and had no unusual odors.“

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. It’s been the same Owners and good quality food!
My uncle’s spicy Ramen noodle soup had just the right amount of heat and their substitutions for rice is amazing. I did have to pay a little more, but, the chicken teriyaki is to jump over the moon for. Everything is cooked to perfection and savory. Vegetables for crunchy and you can taste the seasoning and each vegetable didn’t have the same note.
The Gyoza, while fried, was not dry or soggy.
presentation was excellent. Owners are very accommodating. I recommend if you want quick good food, a quiet atmosphere and attentive service. For the amount of food you’re getting and quality you can’t beat this place.🙂 10 out of 10 recommend.“

I will say that teriyaki in this area is pretty competitive. Heck, another teriyaki shop opened up 2 mi away and before they even open their doors (under construction no less)they had 200 positive reviews, (And were so for 2 months). I've been going here for years. Sometimes it's hard to understand the owner as English is her second language. But overall, if you smile at her, she's very sweet and very happy to help you.
