“I’m done gatekeeping this place. I’d drive forever and back to this place. I have tried a lot of local sushi, sushi in Bellevue, sushi across Seattle, and this damn place, Nori, all the way in Maple Valley, has the freshest fish every single time.

They have this unique appetizer called the Spicy Tuna Tacos, something of a Japan meets Korea meets fun in your mouth, that is worth every single bite. I can’t have a meal without them. This place is phenomenal, from the joyful, welcoming, attentive service, to the astounding freshness of their food. Highly recommend those tuna tacos and the lunch special Hwe Dup Bap for a fresh, crunchy, deliciously sesame, choose-your-own spice adventure. Will never get tired of this place.“

“Best Teriyaki in Western Washington! I grew up with Teriyaki from the early days to the present! Good Teriyaki places are few and far between! The sauce is just as good as it was way back when! “Awesome burger, good fries, Awesome onion rings.
For a full meal, burger, fries and drink it gets pricy per person. Worth it for a better lunch than MacDonald or taco time. The fries are sized in your favor, the onion rings are the same. Highly recommend the onion rings. Figure $20 for burger, fries. I always get fries and onion rings.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! The food was bomb, every bite was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can tell they put real heart into every dish.

But what truly sets this place apart is the service. I dropped my fork, and I kid you not, not even a second later, the lady brought me a new one — without me even asking! She was so on point it blew my mind.

She also makes conversation with every single customer, and not in a fake or forced way, she’s genuinely warm and makes you feel like family. It’s rare to see service like that these days.

“Great food, large portions, usually quick service. Love the salad dressing and teriyaki sauce. Their meats are trimmed pretty good and not over cooked/dried out. This is where I normally get teriyaki close to home. I only get take out so I can't speak for dine in customers. My only gripe is that it's expensive, that's inflation and everywhere though. Two regular teriyaki meals and sushi was 60 plus tip. Three of us ate two meals (dinner twice) with the amount of food plus some meats leftover. Overall happy and would recommend!“

“First order: I was really excited. The portions felt on par with what I would expect for the cost, and most importantly, the meals seemed fresh. The flavors were really good and packaged well. As someone who hates leftovers, I really enjoyed my first order. I would have given 4/5 stars.

My second order this week, not so much. (Maybe I ordered the wrong things this week). The breakfast portions were small (I was still hungry afterward), and the quality didn’t feel the same as the week before. The scrambled eggs with asparagus turned the eggs slimy and brown—not the most appealing. Dinners during the second week were decent but included fillers, like what appeared to be canned green beans. More roasted broccoli would have felt better, in my opinion.

So it depends on the week, I guess. I already ordered for next week, so we’ll see. I’ll update my review if the quality improves. I would order again for convenience (I’m currently postpartum, so having premade meals is super helpful!), but for this price point, I would expect the quality to stay consistent or improve.“
