“This review is specifically for Collin C. On Sunday morning (2/25/24) my husband and I got a phone call to come to the hospital to be induced with our first baby. They encouraged us to grab breakfast before coming in - so naturally my husband took me to Denny’s which is my favorite restaurant. I specifically LOVE the mozzarella cheese stick grilled cheese sandwich. We showed up and Collin C was our waiter and first I want to say we have been served by him before and is always 10/10 but today, for me, he was 100/10!!! He informed me that my fave sandwich was no longer on the menu but he went to see if it could still be done - and he made it happen! “We came here for a late lunch after doing an escape room. The food was really good! Two of us are vegan, one is vegetarian, and the other two are omni. Most of us ate vegan/vegetarian and really enjoyed our meals! The server was fantastic and our meals were really affordable (most of us spent $25 total). It is a dive bar, so the noise level was expected (it's hard to hear and you have to shout). It was also really dark in there. But nothing that would keep us from coming back! I highly recommend the vegan nachos! They were amazing.“

“PRICING WAS NUTS: Staff was as nice as can be. Food was great. I asked for no bun on my burger, lettuce instead. Came with a piece of lettuce on the bottom and one on top and they CHARGED ME $1.50 to do it. I know all the restaurants are struggling right now but this was sticker shock for me. “This place was amazing! The atmosphere is really fun, lots of old signage on the walls and they were playing a sports channel when our group went. The server was amazing, definitely made us feel right at home. Very friendly. The drinks were delicious, I got a screwdriver that was very generously poured, and my friend got a mimosa that was also wonderful, and the bloody Mary was delicious as well. And the food was amazing! I got the biscuits and gravy and it was absolutely delicious! The spicy breakfast burrito and Monte Cristo sandwich were delicious as well. “Our first time visiting and we are glad we went! A good hometown feel. The kids had the pancake kids meal which came with a drink and they chose hot chocolate. A mug full with a huge whipped cream top. Cute pancake with a side of meat. Don’t let the photos fool you! The kids pancake was plenty for my 11 yr old and the adult versions are, no lie, bigger than your head! We had great service from Ashley who always checked on us and made sure the kids were happy along with Betty who even gave the kids balloons once they were finished. We've come within listed hours (maybe an hour before closing which should be enough time to not be obnoxious about storming the kitchen at the end of the night), and we were denied b/c it had been slow and they were closing early. It's tucked in the back behind South Hill Mall very nice looking as we drive up n upon entering I was amazed at how clean n actually beautiful it was inside. The young lady working was super Sweet n the cook did an excellent job on my fries which was ready when I arrived. Will most definitely stop back in for a dit down meal. “A friend and I went there for the first time. The diner was ok for the theme. But we both got omelets and hash browns. We it turns out that there cooked it to let the bottom cook. Then fold it and served it so when we took a bit it was white inside and mushy. So we did not eat it. When I asked the waitress about it. She told me if I wanted it all fully cooked it had to ask to have it scatted to have it all fully cooked. As far as I know. Hash Browns needs to be fully cooked all around. So if any one goes there I recommend that you ask to have your hash browns scatted so you get it fully cooked. But at least I was able to eat the omelet. And I paid $60 for food I could not even eat and enjoy.I would recommend that they Don't serve hash browns like that and fully cooked it all.“

“Place was extremely busy on Saturday night so there was a little bit of a wait to get seated. However everything else was absolutely amazing. The live musician set a really cool ambiance. And the food was fantastic. We started with the stuffed mushrooms which were probably the best appetizer I’ve had anywhere in a long time. I got the shrimp and grits as my main. I had never had that dish before and I was very pleasantly surprised. My girlfriend got the shrimp fry and was pleased as well. Portions were nice and big and the drinks were good too. 10/10 would recommend.“

“I wish I would have taken photos! We ordered pickup and when we went in it was such a cool place! Such an awesome idea. We have had a hard time finding a really good burger especially since we’re super picky but after walking by it a few days ago and seeing how fun it looked I decided to try. My hubby ordered the pepper jack burger and I ordered the lamb. We were surprised how hefty it was when we took the burgers out and everything looked so fresh. The cheese was perfectly melted into the patty of the pepper jack burger and the patty’s were really good size. I was surprised how great the lamb burger was. I’ve had a few but this one was super flavorful and even a bit spicy. It is a place I’ll definitely be taking my son since the first two tables have large screens with two controllers so you can actually play different games. It is definitely a great place to try!“
