If you’re looking for good southern Louisiana style cooking you’ve found a gem here in the PNW. The hush puppies melt in your mouth and the honey dipping sauce really sends it home. We tried the gumbo, chicken pasta with white sauce, and fried shrimp and fries and the whole table was happy and satisfied. It’s a fairly small space but the service is quick and friendly. Keep room for dessert too because the benigents are authentic and phenomenal.
While it is not a large place, it has a comfortable atmosphere. Wait staff was outstanding and the fried catfish was amazing. Had the macadamia old fashioned and it was well made. The fries and hush puppies were excellent. Did I mention the beignets?

Place was extremely busy on Saturday night so there was a little bit of a wait to get seated. However everything else was absolutely amazing. The live musician set a really cool ambiance.
