“Took the Family tonight to try this place out. It is reminiscent of a place we enjoyed going to NC. Everyone really enjoyed the food, and being able to decide what to put in their bowls/wraps. Portions were large enough for two meals for me and the kids and to satisfy the husband after a long run today. Also happy the online menu listed what was gluten-free and other allergens.
Dietary restrictions: Online menu has allergens listed!“

“Been coming here for over ten years. My wife and I have spent quite a few Friday nights in here for a few hours each time enjoying sake and sashimi. Great wait staff, one of them the owner with her husband who is the sushi chef. Only place I have been coming for ten years plus and the two main waitresses have been the same, always friendly! Also been here with our son in tow as well and he enjoyed the spicy chicken teriyaki. Our families favorite sushi place in the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area. Highly recommend.
Parking: Many parking spaces available.“

“From mine n my roommates regular HT#3. Roommate likes the bigger menu and food but #3 is alot more relaxing. the remodel is nice but it seems to have cut least a 1/3 of seating guess you needed the added kitchen space 👍. I've been coming to this location since atleast 2013. when my family would come and get unlimited sushi for birthdays had a sake bomb aswell. today (04/25/21) I had the "Bad Girl" roll extremely yummy. also had the crab rangoons which were good aswell.“

“Simple good Korean food. The side accompaniments were excellent. Kimchi was mildly spicy. We enjoyed the bimbibap and hot tofu bowls. FYI both items can be ordered with your choice of beef, pork, chicken or vegetarian. Great price. They seem to do a lot of takeout business too!“

“On a road trip and found this Korean restaurant in Olympia; was very quiet at 7pm, with one other customer but it was getting late and I really wanted some Soon Dubu… except for the small size for $16.99, was not disappointed, the pork soon dubu was tasty… could have used a little more spice for my spiciness level. The spicy pork bibimbap didn’t have any vegetables other than onions… were expecting the full on bibimbap with the variety of veggies and the egg and with pork as the protein option. This was basically a bowl of rice with spicy pork on top Luckily sides came with the soon dubu so we were able to mix that in with the bibimbap. Other than that it’s impressive this restaurant has been around for 8 years.“

“The Trekking Pawns here! Lovely casual place to get your fix! Was so hungry we forgot to take pictures before hand. Got the pho dat biec and egg rolls. The food was good, but seems like it may cater to the area, the spices were toned down just a little, which is fine. What I do love is that even thought durian smoothie was not on the menu, they were willing to make it for me with real frozen durian (earned the 5 star!). I was so happy! The family that runs it also runs the grocery shop next door and it is such a fun place to browse and select goods that can’t be found in American stores.“

“Had a family dinner here and it did not disappoint. All the flavors and spices that I was looking for is on point. Thai fried rice is flavorful yet not greasy. Beef is tender with excellent texture and taste. The ambiance of the restaurant is super neat, almost the same as you can find in a hotel. Staff are attentive with friendly service. There is also an ample parking area. Overall it was a pleasant dining experience.“

“Allergy family ordered 5 entrees and 2 orders of spring rolls to share, to go (⭐️s listed for spice, not rating - they’re all excellent!): ***Swimming Rama - chicken ⭐️ ***Honey walnut shrimp - ⭐️⭐️ ***Chicken chow mein - ⭐️⭐️ ***Vietnamese spring rolls 1 tofu, 1 shrimp ***Tofu pad Thai ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ***Ginger Garden w/tofu - dinner⭐️⭐️ The over-the-phone order taker was kind and respectful when I asked if they could accommodate our allergies (dairy & egg), which they were. Estimated cook time was surprisingly short and food was ready within a minute or two of that estimated time. Everything visible was absolutely clean and well maintained; we did not visit the restroom, but it would have shocked me if it wasn’t in excellent condition. We took our food home and had a family-style dinner. The least delicious item was the spring rolls - hear me out, they are *exactly* what you expect when you order Vietnamese spring rolls, everything else was simply over the top outstanding. No overpowering saltiness in the chow mein, a perfect balance of flavor, sweetness, and (albeit mild - cause Grandma doesn’t do spice) spice in the Swimming Rama. The pad Thai was flavorful and had a LOVELY texture that I don’t have words to describe. The Honey walnut shrimp was perfectly crispy without under or over cooking the shrimp (and the presentation in the to go container 😍). All the veggies, including in the Ginger garden were cooked to perfection and not a moment beyond. Even the rice was superb (sticky rice). My preschool aged child was impressed by the chef’s giant homegrown watermelon on display and is asking when we are going to get more spring rolls. You’ve read this far, just call or head over there! We will be back, for sure!“
