Chicken stays crispy too—which is a testament that they know how to do fried chicken. I ordered the General Tso Chicken. I would eat here again & again. “The gentleman working the front counter drove up to my house and returned my wallet that I dropped in their dining room earlier that evening when we were dining in! I didn't even notice it was missing until he knocked on the door at 8 pm and returned it!
He didn't have to do that, what nice guy! We live about 15 minutes away on Beacon Hill..

We eat there frequently and the food is always good. My favorite is the garlic shrimp with a nice cold Hawaiian beer.

“I’ve lived on Alki since 1989. I’ve seen many restaurants come and go from this location. Lotus on the Beach is the best of them all. The ability to pick from a variety of Vietnamese and Thai dishes is its strength. The owner and staff welcome any and all critiques of the food and service.“

“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. They give you the menu take you oder after a few minutes and will fill your water if they see its low. They are not gonna ask you if everything is good every 5 minutes. The servings was just enough to make us really full & entire dish was filled w/so much flavor. We recommend this place. Customer service was spot on! Huge goblet with lights in the ice and SoJu can dumped in. I would not recommend the shrimp because it is raw, head and tails intacked and uncleaned. The intestinal tract would have to be removed by you either before or after cooking and it's too much work for mediocre tasting shrimp. It's on the expensive side for going out but hey it was fun.“
