“What a gem. My brother and sister-in-law live in Tacoma and suggested this restaurant. He ordered a series of apps and they were absolutely delicious. There was no need to go further ... we were sated. Garlic green beans, salt and pepper tofu, pork & shrimp shumai, pork belly yakitori and shrimp & chive dumplings. A hip spot to go along w/ tasty bits! We live in Seattle but the experience is worth the drive LOL“
“I've been searching for a good seared salmon nigiri in the area but haven't had any luck. Most of the sushi places we visit don't even offer it on their menu. However, this spot has the perfect seared salmon nigiri. I'll definitely be returning here for more.“
“Great food. I was challenged to describe authentic vs traditional. While this is fusion, I would not describe the food here as traditional. And that is exactly why it is really good! The chef takes care to make sure you're getting a dish they themselves would eat. You can taste it. The lumpia is probably the most consistent taste and bite I've had in lumpia probably ever. Is it traditional, not from what I've tasted, but this lumpia eats like a meal on its own. It's got a vinegar dip for it that compliments really well. I would go for just lumpia alone. The mole sauce is not not traditional, but it's a great blend of sweetness with an earthy flavor that really is great. Meat was tender in all dishes. The horchata was made in house which made for a nice touch. The fusion on Mexican style rice that had peas, corn and carrots. I'm sure the breakfast will be good and the hard alcohol drinks were decent. I would say this is a great spot to try. If they just put a giant picture of their art on the outside front of the building, this place would not probably be much of a secret for long. Side note, yes, service was slow, and the radio was choppy from the Wi-Fi connect . The layout of the place left a lot to be desired. Waitress was amazing. Very personal and enjoys the beers served and food here. Give her a raise.“
“We had a large work party, the food was purchased at Mimi’s. I can’t say enough about the excellent food and service as well as the portions. Mimi’s made our Christmas party a great success thank you so much we will definitely be ordering again.“
“amazing customer service, the man was very patient and walked us through everything. at first we drove away because the flavor we wanted was out of sale but he was so genuinely kind we came back and tried a different flavor, the taco mix- and it did not disappoint. best lumpia i've had that wasn't my own family's. and there's two sauces, both different vibes so you can choose if you like or don't like. 13.99 for cold pack, and 15.99 for them to cook it for you, and with how much you get? i think it's a great deal. basically a dollar and some change per. 100% recommend!“
“Nearly panicked when I stopped at the super charger and realized my only dining option might be a Jack N The Box...Thankfully I found this place hidden around the corner.Got their eggplant dish and it was unlike any I've ever had. Super crispy with an interesting hint of curry. Was the perfect meal after a long drive.Told the waiter I was in a bit of a rush and he brought everything out fast while still piping hot.Clean and friendly service. Will definitely stop back on my next road trip.“
“De-li-cious! The teriyaki chicken is actually grilled - great smokey flavor. The orange chicken actually tastes like oranges. The short ribs are tender and very flavorful. The yaki mondu is delightfully crunchy and perfectly fresh, the meat filling tender and very well seasoned. The fried prawns also amazing! Look, I didn't eat all of that myself - we shared, okay?! ?“
“Absolutely amazing! Our server Anna was fantastic, the quality was astonishing, and the ambiance was perfect. A little hip, a little traditional, and beautiful view. Thank you!Vegetarian options: I am vegetarian, and my husband is not. It was the best vegetable yakisoba I have had in the Puget Sound! It’s rare we both have a great experience.“
“Personally, I have only had the Lumpia. However, that one specific item on the menu is enough to keep me coming back again and again. My lunch break favorite is a mouth-watering bag of bite-sized lumpia with dipping sauce. You can eat it for a snack or if you're like me you can call it lunch. I suggest getting extra. Everyone always wants to share.“
“The food was amazing. We had a party of 10 for a birthday and they put us in the room with the fireplace which is awesome. It was nice and private and we felt like we could all talk without overpowering other guests around us. However, the room was really cold, the fireplace was not on and there was no music to set a mood. Maybe if we had been in the main dining area that atmosphere might've felt a little bit more warm and cozy. That was the first time any of us has been there. We all agreed that we would go back and try again, because the food was so delicious!“
“Ok, if you're not a Otaku you will not be as impressed with this place. My family and I consume a large amount of Anime and Manga. So finding this Naruto themed Ramen place in Tacoma was a delight. Food was great, fresh and delicious. The broth for the Ramen is very unique to this establishment. SLIGHLTY creamier than most other Tonkatsu broths in the area. And it was a pleasant surprise. You get good portions for the price and the service was impeccable. Very friendly and upbeat. They don't just serve Ramen though! You can get Poké and Sushi Burritos, and not the ones you get at the mall. These bad boys are much better. I also appreciate the self service fountain drinks. Not something you find here often in the PNW. Overall we will return, DATTEBAYO!!!Kid-friendliness: We have two young kids and they loved it as Naruto fans.“
“This place is amazing! The food is great and at a good price. The lady behind the register, June, is a gem. The food is delicious and her customer service and friendly demeanor makes you want to keep coming back. She made us feel very welcome when we moved to Tacoma a few years back. I always recommend this place to people when they ask for good Chinese food.“
