“The sisig, palabok, and bulalo we ordered were all absolutely delicious, but what impressed me the most was the outstanding customer service we received from our young waiter. He made us feel like regular, familiar customers the moment we arrived. My wife was having a hard time deciding what to order because all the photos she saw in the online reviews looked so delicious. He was very helpful and patient in making recommendations, which made her decision much easier. He also recommended the empanada, which we ended up ordering to go - and we're glad we did! What really stood out was how attentive and thoughtful he and the other waiters were throughout our entire meal. We felt like family. They anticipated our needs without us even having to ask. An extra bowl for the bulalo was brought right away, extra napkins were provided before we even need to request them, and our drinks were constantly refilled. Before we left, I made sure to let the manager know how impressed we are with the service. The staff, especially our main waiter truly made our dining experience special. And one more thing worth mentioning - the restroom was huge and very clean. I even joked with the manager that it was so big, it's almost like an apartment. 😂 Great food, excellent service, attentive staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely a 5-star experience! We'll be back.“

“First time I tried the fried chicken (had the sandwich before), chicken was very juicy, nice crispy batter, got the spicy version and could have done with more heat, it was present but more in the aftertaste.
My wife got a side of the spaghetti and really liked it, I found the sweetness odd, not bad but it seemed to lean towards a BBQ flavor to me. I will have to try it again, my biscuit was very buttery, the gravy had a great flavor though it was a bit thin.
Hopefully we get one closer to Vancouver to more easily try it again.“

“My 1st time at this place. Nice lil cozy atmosphere. 1st trying the empanadas, I give it a 5 out of 10 rating. It just needs to be seasoned, the crunchiness was on point. I loved the lumpia’s, they actually are better than the empanadas. Friendly place.“

“If you’re craving legit Filipino food, Paraiso Filipino Resto is worth the trip. I had the sizzling sisig, halo-halo, and a couple of combo meals, and honestly, I left happy and full. The sisig came out still sizzling (and tasting amazing), just the way it should be. The halo-halo reminded me of the ones back home — traditional, not overdone, and really good. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the flavors hit the spot. On top of that, the owner was so much fun to talk to — super friendly with great customer service. You really feel welcome here. Highly recommend if you want that authentic Filipino taste without hopping on a plane going to Cali.“
“Such a great spot for Filipino comfort food! The fried chicken is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside — just how Max’s should be. I also tried their garlic fried rice, and it was delicious! 😍
The staff was really kind and welcoming, and the food came out quick, which is perfect if you’re grabbing a bite while shopping at Island Pacific.
Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re craving that classic Filipino home-style flavor!“
