“One of the nicest Subways you’ll ever visit - just the opposite of a Subway you will find in a gas station. My sandwich artist was very meticulous in assembling my sub. And just the opposite of the actions of the sandwich artist I had at another Subway in the area on Monday. Today, the sandwich artist took his time and gave me plenty of veggies along with the meat. So refreshing to come across an employee who actually cares to do his job well!”

“We stopped here on the way home from vacation knowing nothing other than we were hungry and teriyaki sounded good. We are so glad we stopped! The owners are exceptionally friendly and the service was top notch. We were a larger group and had several children with us, and they made sure everyone was well taken care of. Every dish was delicious, with the gyozas and spring rolls being a standout for everyone. I had the lunch special teriyaki chicken and it was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sauce. We would definitely be regulars here if we didn’t live so far away! Do yourself a favor and stop in!”

“I was in town for work and staying at the Home2Suites right next to Happy Teriyaki. I arrived early before my room was ready so I pulled up the menu online and quickly decided to get some lunch. I had the bento box lunch special and it was delicious. I ended up eating dinner here the next two nights. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere was perfect. I recommend trying the Seattle roll and the chicken teriyaki dinner bento box. Bring your appetite because the portions are large.”

“The workers here are mostly great! But WHAT is playing on the speakers? Everytime we go it's some story/plot/audiobook/something with sometimes rather disturbing narratives and pretty dramatic music. I feel like I'm feuling up to save middle-earth from Sauron's dominion everytime I eat a sandwich here.”

“Located in the entrance to Dupont. The Good_ Really good terioki and yakisobi. Other yakisobi places only give you like 3,4 or possibly 5 pieces of shrimp in your meal. I was pleasantly surprised to find i had at LEAST 10. a plus!
The negative. _Quite expensive! We got 1 dish of Terioki, 1 dish of Yakisobi plus 2 orders (4) egg rolls, NO drinks, NO other extras and our bill was nearly $50. Yes_it was delicious but I question the price tag.”

We tried the coconut shrimp, drunken noodles, thai fried rice, pad Thai noodles, fresh coconut juice/water, thai iced tea, crispy fried chicken. We were a large group and it was a Sunday afternoon and indoor space was limited, but they kindly arranged outdoor seating for us. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely visit again!”

“I had a fabulous experience at the Lakewood Carls Jr. Mr. Rhett at the drive thru window was a phenomenal customer service extraordinaire! Dude was fast, efficient, and super kind. “My wife and I are loyal customers because we truly enjoy the total experience each time we patronize this establishment. One might expect a primarily "take out" place to be noisy and potentially chaotic. But, Ikonic Wings is pleasantly friendly and serene while you wait for your food (if you fail to order ahead of time). There are a few tables available for those lucky few who choose to dine in. The food is delicious and freshly prepared to order (SCRUMPTIOUS)! I'm a big man but after 3 wings, I've had my fill but may eat 1 or 2 more just for taste (the wings are larger than expected and the various sauces makes you speechless-YUMMY). We order from Ikonic Wings 2-3 times a month. The owner (Kelly) is wonderful (Army vet). She appears to run her restaurant with her patrons in mind. She is open to feedback and aims to please. So, if you have feedback for her, try to be kind as she seems to want pleased customers. If anyone walks away dissatisfied, I don't know what to tell you.”

“What can I say, I love this place!! I recommend the sushi made with tempura shrimp & the deep-fried, crispy gyoza. I odered the bulgogi that came with rice & salad... delicious! So much gogi, I needed to take it to go.

As someone who cares about the atmosphere & dining experience at restaurants, I would say that this place is extremely underrated. I give it 5/5. Don't let the outside location fool you. Dining in is a good idea if you're looking for a place to relax (maybe it's just me, but I feel like I'm at a spa when I'm here). I wish I knew about this place sooner. It would make for a good place to wait for traffic to clear up -- and maybe read a book or something, hehe.

If you're looking for a cozy place for a small family birthday lunch or dinner, this place is the type of place that can become a traditional spot. In fact, when I went, a family of seven held their son's birthday here.
